The next morning Ivy woke up in strange surroundings unsure of where she was until she felt a soft and fluffy head beside her. Then came the wet nose against her cheek and all her memories came flooding back to her. She shook her head chasing away her messy thoughts and she petted her pup, Zeus.

After a while, she sat up as she petted Zeus who had fallen back asleep she decided to check her phone. After all, she wondered what the outcome of the scandal was. Going through her browser she went to Jamie's post first. She had sent him all the juicy gossip and let him be the first to print it.

It was still up, which meant that Anna either hadn't taken it down yet because she couldn't or Noah didnt allow her any help. Either way, a huge smile spread across Ivys face. She gave Zeus a big hug and the sleeping pup woke up n rolled over wanting more affection. She petted him for a while longer then decided to get up for the day.

Ivy stretched and got out of bed. She made the bed again before leaving the bedroom wearing one of Noah's t-shirts and a pair of leggings.

In the kitchen, Thomas stood making pancakes and bacon when he saw Ivy come out of his guest room. He sighed as he noticed that she was in a good mood today. He looked down at the crazy woman's bite mark on his hand and scowled.

"What is making you scowl so early in the morning?" Ivy asked as she sat at Thomas dining table.

She thought Thomas looked quite funny in the morning with his bed head hair and his pyjamas.

"A rodent bit me. Oh, the boss wanted you to check this out." Thomas brought breakfast to the table and sat down before handing Ivy his phone.

"Rodent, like a rat?" Ivy asked.

"Don't ask," Thomas responded.

Ivy took Thomas phone and she pressed play, she was eager to find out what Noah wanted her to see. The video started and Ivy saw and heard Governor Anna being completely shameless and delusional. Ivy couldn't help but be annoyed by her arrogance and laugh at her idiotic behaviour.

Was this really the Governor, then again she had slept her way to the top. She had never earned the right or had the qualifications for the job. She wished she could post the video online. Noah would let her do as she wished but she didnt wants even Noahs and Governor Annas name in the same headlines together again.

Like Noah Ivy didnt like to share and felt equally possessive when it came to the other sex being near one another.

The video ended and Ivy smiled as she handed Thomas back his phone. She piled some pancakes and bacon on both their plates and added a generous amount of syrup on here before digging in.

Thomas sat and stared at Ivy, what was this response? Were she and the boss all good now? If she didnt go back to the boss soon he was sure Noah would get impatient and move him out of his own home and move in himself. He shuddered thinking of his bosses face if he had to tell him that Ivy wouldn't be going back tonight to their apartment.

Before eating a bite he asked, "So...what's happening today?"

Ivy looked up from her tasty bacon snd pancakes and smiled at Thomas concerned look and she knew why. Deciding whether to torture him further or answer his question she decided to put him out of his misery.

"I'll be going home after breakfast, I am going to the restaurant today and then I still have two properties to check out this afternoon so when I get back be ready to go." Ivy then went back to eating her tasty breakfast.

Why was food always nicer when others made it and handed it to you?

After breakfast, Ivy helped Thomas to tidy up and gave Zeus some more love before taking her overnight bag and making her way up to her and Noahs apartment.

Thomas said he brought Zeus for a run every morning and she saw that Zeus enjoyed living there so she was content in leaving him with Thomas.

Once she opened up her and Noahs apartment her smile grew. Absence did make the heart grow fonder. She missed Noah and being in their home together, doing silly things like cuddling on the sofa together and going to bed together. She was glad this wasn't a real fight or she wouldn't know what to do.

Taking a deep breath she entered their bedroom and inside she saw a new bouquet of deep red roses in a vase beside her bed. She beamed and rant closer to smell them. They were beautiful, he had been so thoughtful.

Wanting to reciprocate she went to the bathroom with her phone she stripped down to her lacy black underwear. She grabbed her phone and fixed her hair before posing and taking a little risque pic to send to Noah.

She liked to be playful in their relationship and she couldn't buy him anything he had it all anyway, the best gift is herself.

Happy with her picture she sent it to Noah and jumps into the shower quickly. Finished with her shower she dried her body and her hair before walking to her closet. She picked out a bright red dress and black Louboutins before she went to the bathroom and applied some natural makeup and a red lip.

Happy with her hair and makeup she got changed, grabbed her leather coat and bag before leaving the apartment. Seeing Thomas at the door she smiled snd they headed to work.

At the office, Noah heard his phone vibrate and he picked up his phone to check it. It was early in the morning so he imagined it would be Thomas reporting back how Ivy had responded to the video.

Seeing Ivy's name he was taken aback and he quickly unlocked his phone and was blown away by the racy photo Ivy had sent him. His mouth curved into a rare smile before he saved the photo and replied. He looked forward to this evening with her. He planned to finish work early to join her in their home later.
