Ivy sat forward looking straight at Cole, her aura was that of CEO as if he was below her in every way. "Also Cole please remember that I am the President of Hughes Investments, and acting CEO when my father isn't here. This company is owned by my father and it is my legacy. We will choose from now on which projects we back and which ones we drop. Today's meeting is just the start... And after all our company merger is ending soon." Ivy sat back and smiled.

Cole found himself humoured by the expression on her face, his sour mood becoming a bit better. She was confident and dominant in her own right, it instantly drew him towards her more and more. He realized then, he had undervalued her abilities.

His lips curved into a slight smirk as he spoke, "Above or below I don't mind which position we take Ivy."

His innuendo was not lost on Ivy or the others, but she laughed it off and replied. "It's a pleasure to work with you director Cole." She didn't forget to reiterate his position in the company.

He may be the CEO of his own small company but her he was just a director.

"Father I have a new investment contract to show you." Ivy turned her head after speaking to her father and immediately pulled out a laptop and revised the entire contract on the spot. She had spotted a small firm starting out in the stock market it had endless possibilities but no investments, if they could invest it would be a high profit for them.

The small company was called Cerberus Games, it was a gaming company that developed games people could play on there phone. Recently she had noticed a lack of games for both males and females, this company had also seen the gap in the market and had started to develop games that targetted both males and females. Within less than five minutes, a new stack of papers was wirelessly printed in the room, Nathan stood to receive the papers he gathered them up and handed them back to Ivy.

She took this investment proposal seriously and wanted no mistakes when they would present it to the company. She scanned through it, examining every page with enormous interest and detail.

Cole watched her every move, he was impressed and was determined to win her heart, with her came endless protects and financial gain.

Nearly everyone was stunned to the core, blown away by this woman's ability. Thomas had to take a second look at Ivy, usually, she sat on the sofa playing games, he had no idea she was truly like this. She could run to Noah and he would, of course, help her fathers company but she didn't do that, she fiercely took hold of her father's company herself.

He had of course recorded the meeting and would send the audio file to Noah later. He wanted Noah to see how badass Ivy could be.

Meanwhile, Ivys father victor and Nathan who both knew how talented snd business savvy Ivy was smiled at her approach to today's meeting. She was back!

Once she was done she handed her father the contract and fully ignored Cole. She coughed and then started to brief him on tje ins and outs of the investment, she gave a clear and concise presentation.

Her father was proud as he watched her speak about their new investment she had thoroughly researched. He of course agreed with whatever she wanted to do. He took his pen and signed his name swiftly at the bottom of each page that required his signature, smiling as he did.

Ivy relaxed seeing her father agree so swiftly. She stood and the men followed her lead in standing too. "Well then leave the rest to me, I will be in my office I anyone needs me."

Nathan and Thomas flanked her as they walked out of the meeting room and all the way up to her office. Ivy walked in and sat behind her deek, starting at the two smiling fools stood opposite her.

"That was unbelievable." Nathan was beaming at Ivy, he had always wanted her to show Cole who was the real boss around here.

"If he bothers you I can throw him out of here, no problem." Thomas didn't want pests to disturb Ivy and Noah wouldn't like him around her either.

Ivy laughed at both of there reactions. "No need he is an insignificant bug under my shoe, he will be out in a few months so we just have to be patient. Legally he's here for two more months. Let's make him so miserable so he can't wait to leave."

Nathan and Thomas both recognised the smirk on Ivys face, they would have a good show over the coming weeks.

Ivy and Nathan returned to work so Thomas sat on the sofa again, taking out his phone and sending the audio file to Noah. He then opened up his game and started to focus on killing zombies.

Meanwhile, Noah strode into his office, he had just ended a three-hour-long meeting with his shareholders, he wanted to start to buy back his shares from them without them knowing then throw them out on to the street, he smirked a devilish grin at the possibility.

He then sat down behind his desk, pinching his glabella.

Hearing his phone he reached into his suit jacket pocket and lifted out his phone, the screen lit up and he saw Thomas had sent him an audio file two hours ago. He unlocked his phone and opened the message listening intently to the audio file. His rare Ivy smile graced his chiselled face.

She was intelligent, eloquent, powerful and could lead with no hesitation or restraint. He was indeed proud. His heart pounded rapidly as the image of her beautiful face flashed across his mind. What was she doing now?
