Noah didn't like her slimy hands on his trousers or her disgusting words. He lifted his leg and kicked her again. She was flung for a second time across the floor, the pain in her stomach from the kick didn't hurt as much as her pride.

Although Lauren was in pain she ignored it and sat up, she unzipped her dress leaving just her underwear on and flashed a full wattage smile.

Just then Ivy opened the door, she scene before her shocked and disgusted her, she slammed the door closed.

Ivy yelled and her friend and guard burst through the door, followed by Aiden. They took in the scene and didn't falter. Thomas went to Lauren and hauled her away from Noah pushing her to the floor on her stomach. She screamed at the sudden attack.

Noah took out a handkerchief and wiped his hands and trousers. He was thoroughly repulsed. He then turned to Ivy waiting to see what she would do. Only seeing anger and shock he took over.

"Thomas."

Thomas knew what to do without being asked. He gripped out his gun and pointed it at Laurens's head.

"Is that real?"

"Wanna find out?"

Thomas smirked at her obvious distress.

"No no no."

Lauren started to tremble in fear.

"Glad you know how to be afraid, you should have thought of that before trying to touch the boss. Why did you do it?"

"I – I'm jealous of Ivy people always like her. Men swarmed to her side, girls love hanging out with her, but what about me? I am much wealthier and from a more prestigious family than her, I am better looking and yet people still craved her over me! Just when I thought I've overshadowed her, she came back with the grand prize!"

Lauren lifted her head and looked at Noah.

"Grand prize?"Ivy was disgusted.

"Noah is not a prize to be won he is the man I was born to find. For with my twin soul, my partner, my other half not yours. You delusional slut. Now apologise and I will help you."

Lauren was indignant she flung Thomas arms away. Fear replaced by resentment and Lauren erupted.

"Stop pretending, Ivy. Now that you won, go ahead and laugh at me."

"What?" Ivy was confused.

"You got what you want; money, power, status."

"What are you talking about?"

Lauren pointed at Noah.

'"You're getting everything from him in exchange for being his lover."

Ivy tried refuting but Lauren stopped her.

"Spreading your legs for him aren't you? All for what he can provide for you."

Lauren snickered.

Thomas was livid he decked Lauren on her face followed by a chokehold. Lauren screamed and then chocked.

"Mind your words." Thomas sneered at her.

Noah took out his gun and held it to Laurens's head.

"Ivy, you want to handle this? Hurry before I lose my patience."

Ivy was disgusted and angry at how the end of the evening had gone. How did things get so bad? Lauren had Cole and now she wanted Noah. Ivy allowed her and Coles affair but she wouldn't let anyone near her Noah.

"Thomas throw her out of the restaurant."

Noah smiled at Ivys decision.

"You can't.." Lauren cried out.

"Would you prefer Thomas shoots you?"

"No no... Just let me get dressed." Lauren tried to sound pervasive.

Ivy laughed, she had called her a slut and yet she was the one who slithered all over someone else man naked.

"Thomas."

"Yes, Ivy."

Thomas threw a screaming Lauren out of the room. She clawed at the wall trying to break free from his grasp. Thomas kept a firm hold and continued to walk out the front of the restaurant. Startled gasps and snickering could be heard amongst the guests. As Thomas then unceremoniously threw her out on to the street. She tried to cover herself and rushed out into the night.

Back in the private room, Aiden sensed the tension in the room.

"Cough... I'll go get the car." Aiden then made a speedy exit out of the room.

Ivy recollected her thoughts and looked at Noah.

"What happened here?"

Noah looked indifferent as she glared at him and told her what happened.

"She offered herself to me thinking that she could have my power and wealth."

"Bitch."

Ivy was infuriated.

"She's too greedy. Why are you smiling at me? Stop it! I'm mad at you too, she was half-naked in front of you."

"I'm smiling because I am the man you were born to find, your twin soul, your partner, your other half."

Noah came to her side and wrapped his arms around her waist as she fumed in anger. But her anger diminished and she got embarrassed. She had said those words in the heat of the moment without thinking and now she had declared her feelings openly. She thought those who fall in love first are the ones who end up getting hurt, but that was all so late to think about now.

"Come let's go home."

Ivy welcomed the change of subject. They walked out the side entrance and didn't notice anything as they drove off together.

In the car all four where silent. Thomas feeling the tension decided to break it.
