"Partner."

Noah stepped forward and shook Victor's hand introducing himself, Victor was taken aback. He did not know his daughter was seriously dating never mind dating CEO Noah Adler the Forbes No 1 Billionaire. He was known for his cutthroat ways and savvy business sense. But as Victor thought he smiled, Noah had no scandals with any women. He was happy with Ivy's choice.

"Good, good man."

Ivy had a slight blush when she was introducing her partner to her dad, it was a first and hopefully her last.

"This is Noah's secretary Aiden and his bodyguard Thomas, they are both my friends too."

Victor smiled and nodded at them both, happy his daughter had introduced so many to him, maybe she had forgiven his stupidity he thought.

"Hi, sir."

Aiden was formal with him.

"Hi, dad."

Ivy laughed at Thomas informal greeting, while Noah and Aiden glared at him.

"I have prepared a room next door for you both."

"Thanks, boss."

"Very kind sir."

After introductions were done Aiden and Thomas left for their private room while Noah, Ivy and Victor all took their seats. Noah was beside Ivy and Victor was opposite them both.

Knock Knock

A waiter entered and took their drink order.

"They didn't ask what I wanted to eat."

After all the exercise she and Noah had done this afternoon she was hungry. Noah smiled at her cuteness.

"I took the liberty to order the chef's delicacy's."

"Your too kind Noah."

Victor thanked Noah he was shocked that Noah had so much prepared even though it was him who had asked them to join him for dinner, he felt slightly useless.

When the waiter returned he brought in there drinks along with a trolley. The waiter laid out a feast of Lobster Frittata, Bluefin Tuna, Almas Caviar, Coffin Bay King oysters, ginger and garlic crabs. It was a feast for the eyes and senses.

Ivy couldn't help her stomach as it growled at the smell of the food. Noah smiled and started to fill her plate first.

Victor was slightly nervous eating with this elite businessman but he did his best at controlling his nerves.

"So how did you both meet?"

Ivy stopped eating while she answered. Noah had taken some crabs onto his plate and was taking the delicious meat out and putting it onto Ivy's plate. His attentiveness showed Victor that he cared for Ivy which made him very happy.

They chatted while eating and although Noah didn't say much which was his nature the dinner went very well. Victor was pleased with Noah and he was ecstatic to get his daughter back into his life. He couldn't screw it up again.

He thought about how his daughter may be looked down upon, so he broached the sensitive topic with Noah.

Cough Cough

"Noah, what would your family think of Ivy? Although she will be the CEO soon of my company we cant be compared to a prestigious family."

Noah lifted his head and answered simply.

"That will not be an issue as I have no family left."

"I'm sorry that I asked, it is just something I was worried about for Ivy's sake."

Victor nervously scratched the back of his neck unsure of what he should say next.

Noah didn't blame him and just nodded.

"Well, I better go, thank you both for a lovely evening. Noah look after my daughter now won't you."

Ivy stood and walked round to her dad's side.

"I'll walk you out, dad."

Noah then stood and fixed his suit jacket. The dinner had ended and he shook Victors hand goodbye. Ivy then walked Victor out to the front of the restaurant. On her way she saw Lauren again, she avoided her and continued to walk her father out.

Meanwhile, inside the private room, Noah waited for Ivy to return she had ordered a Tiramisu and he sat and drank his whiskey. He swirled the amber liquid and drank its contents as he waited. He heard the door open and close but didn't lift his head thinking it was a waiter. When nothing was set on the table he became irritated as he felt the person staring.

"Set it down and leave."

His tone was harsh and dismissive. When the person didn't leave he was about to lose it.

Suddenly a blonde woman in a low cut bright pink dress threw herself at his leg.

"Get the fu*k off!"

He kicked her and she fell back and screamed, her hair was slightly messy now and she had to smooth it down. She looked up and saw Noah's intense glare, she felt afraid but knowing that Ivy had snuck into his bed it gave her courage. If Ivy could sleep with CEO Noah Adler then so could she. She crawled towards his legs again, dignity and pride now completely gone.

"Noah, my name is Lauren I am Ivy's friend from a long time ago... I know you both have your fun together but... I'm sure you can have a better time with me. I am more experienced in these things and a man of your looks and tastes deserves the best."

Noah glared at the trash that looked down upon his Ivy. He let her speak only to hear what verbal diarrhoea she would come out with, that way he could punish her to the full extent. Plus Ivy would be back soon and he wondered what she would do if she came across this scene. Would she be jealous he wondered, he would let her take her anger out on this woman and punish her as she wished? He stayed quiet and drank his whiskey as the woman tried for a second time to crawl up his leg.

Lauren had thought Noah had agreed with what she said, so she grew confident enough to keep talking and to keep on degrading Ivy.

"Ivy has no background, no connections, she couldn't help you the way I can. I am sure I can service your needs better than she can. I am a woman whereas Ivy is just a girl. A woman like myself is knowledgeable."
