It had been a week and everything had returned to normal, Noah came home every night and their bedtime activities had resumed. It was finally the opening for hers and Pierces restaurant. Although she had been purely the capitol behind the whole venture she had also helped with the business plan and interior decorating. She was excited for Pierce to finally have his kitchen to explore and show off his culinary skills.

They had the staff hired as well as a few kitchen interns from the local culinary school. This was Pierce's idea, he thought of himself as just starting and wanted to give others experience in working in a kitchen. It was Ivy's idea to use it in the press so it gave the opening of their restaurant free advertising for the opening.

She had used her old contacts from working in her dad's company to invite the city's wealthy businessmen and their heiress wives. That then brought in celebrities and other socialites that wanted to attend the restaurant opening to make contacts of their own.

Right now she was getting ready for this evening. She had left her to make up minimal and her hair was half up half down with loose flowing curls. She stepped out of the bedroom and into the living room, expecting to see Thomas but she saw Noah. He had to fly to another city so couldn't make it this evening so seeing him here now was unexpected. She gave him a flirty smile and then twirled.

"What do you think?"

Ivy took Noah's breath away she was always stunning but tonight she was enchanting. If he was a king in historical times he would defiantly behead any man who would dare gaze at his Wang Fei.

"Like I want to lock you up and not let anyone else see you."

Noah wrapped his strong arms around her small waist. With her in heels she reached his chin comfortably enough he could kiss her forehead.

"Good enough then."

Ivy smiled at her slightly huffy man she could see he was unhappy with her outfit. Tonight she had stepped out of their bedroom in a jaw-dropping red Versace number. The red dress was a stunning custom nude one-shoulder Atelier Versace illusion gown that not only hugged her every curve, and scandalously revealed a few of them. But also depicted a dragon wrapped around her body with ruby crystals. Ivy is supremely comfortable in her would deliver a look that flaunted her best assets.

 "Are you my date tonight?"

Noah sighed. "I'm just here to wish you luck, my jet is already on the runway"

Ivy didn't see her disappointment so she hid it and kissed his lips before breaking away and holding his hand. 

"Then let's depart together."

They walked out together and saw Aiden, Thomas and Teo standing outside their apartment. Ivy smiled at him and rushed towards him only to be held back by Noah.

"Hi Teo, all finished?"

Teo didn't dare look anywhere but Ivy's eyes, afraid the devil himself would kill him. Two weeks ago he had to spar against him and he was defeated in a few moves. He knew how powerful the man was but he was happy to work with Ivy now his training was complete.

"Yes I will be working for the boss now and you if you need me."

"Great you can come with me to the restaurant opening and Thomas and Aiden can accompany Noah."

She looked up at Noah.

"It'll be safer with both of them with you."

Noah kissed her temple and held her waist close.

"No tonight Thomas will be with you and Teo will come with me."

She saw he left no room for her to argue so she agreed and they walked to the lift. Inside the lift, the two of them locked hands. Noah broke free suddenly. he then took something out of his pocket and put it on her second finger on her right hand. 

"Beautiful."

She smiled up at the man who made no big deal about giving out diamonds. The ring sparkled on her finger, it was a Burmese ruby ​​of 8.62 carats, cushion cut, supported by two triangular diamonds and mounted in a ring made by the designer Graf. Only a man like Noah could give diamonds in such an elegant and understated way.

"Only take it off when you're at home, understand?"

Ivy nodded and smiled up at her lover.

The lift doors opened and they untangled from each other and Ivy looked seeing her three friends Thomas, Aiden and Teo standing there. When they saw what had happened in the lift just now they had looked elsewhere but she knew they had seen hers and Noah's exchange just now. She slightly blushed and looked up at Noah.

"Safe journey, see you tonight."

Noah had to fly to another City but if he could he would return home the same night and said that he would accompany her later, so she would hold him to it."

"Hmm."

With that she watched from the Buggati Veyron as Noah, Aiden and Teo drove off in his Lincoln Navigator.

"Let's go."

Ivy smiled over at Thomas as he started the engine.

"You look beautiful."

"You too Thomas."

Knowing her mind was occupied with his boss he ignored her comment and just nodded, continuing to drive. Arriving at the restaurant the paparazzi were snapping pictures of the many guests that arrived. Ivy sighed, she hated the limelight but the restaurant needed the attention.

"Ready?"

Thomas waited before he opened the car door, looking to Ivy first.

"Yes, let's go."
