Rather than let Thomas take a hit for her she held Sharon's wrist and then flung it away. Thomas looked shocked at Ivy's protective behaviour. She always stopped any hit she could. Did she not know he could dodge if he wanted to, though he would take it so she didn't get hurt.

After Sharon had staggered in her heels then stood straight again she lifted her bag and hit Ivy with it. Ivy was still a bit dizzy so she couldn't protect herself this time and was hit on her face. Dizzy and weak she started to fall and Thomas held her before she fell. ​​

"I...I didn't...this weak white lotus is putting it on. It wasn't even that hard don't tell Mr Adler."

Thomas ignored her cries for leniency and picked up Ivy bringing her quickly to the car. He put Ivy in the back and quickly got in the drivers seat. Thomas decided to bring the now unconscious Ivy to hospital. Looking behind at Ivy he then noticed a car following close behind after hearing about Governor Archer May he couldn't take any risks so he phoned Aiden. Aiden picked it on the second ring.

"Sir I think there is a car tailing us."

"Where are you now?."

"Getting off Highway nine at the moment headed to the Royal Hospital."

"Hospital...what happened?."

"Ivy has a high temperature and is now unconscious."

"I'll report this to Noah bring Ivy to the company it's safer than the hospital. Go to the underground car park and use the private lift I'll send the men down to take care of the car that's followed you."

"Ok thanks."

Thomas hung up and looked at Ivy her cheek was red and swollen and she was shivering. He quickly made his way to the underground car park and rushed out as the other car was right behind. He pulled Ivy out covering her with his body he went to the lift as Noahs elite guards all came rushing out with weapons drawn on the car.

Thomas waited at the lift and when it opened Noah strode out and took Ivy from Thomas. They then all got back in the lift. They all entered Noah's office. On the right hand side Noah had a bedroom that he often used before Ivy came into his life but now he didn't as he had someone to return home to.

Placing Ivy on his bed Noah made her more comfortable by taking off her coat and shoes then tucking her in. He brushed her cheek with his hand and felt the scorching heat on his cold fingers he frowned and exited the bedroom.

On entering his office he stood there clenching his fists. Ivy had never looked as vulnerable as she did now and he didn't like it.

"Thomas, Ivys cheek is swollen."

Thomas looked down and reported what had happened to Ivy that afternoon. Noah was not pleased. Aiden then came in with Dr Stewart and escorted him to Ivy. Aiden then came out and stood in front of Noah.

"Sir it was the popstar Sharon Song following Ivy."

"I have tolerated her long enough. Get rid of her make it look like an accident."

No one could hurt Ivy anyone that dared deserved the consequences in Noah's eyes. After a while Dr Stewart came out of the bedroom.

"Ivy is having a fever and is menstruating, she has low blood sugar levels and is low in iron. I have given her medication and she is unconscious for now, she will be up in a few hours. I prescribed medicine and rest also a better diet to help with her low iron count."

Dr Stewart was Noah's physician and new he was a man of few words so he simply left after giving his report and medicine to Aiden.

Aiden and Thomas left to do their duties and Noah continued to do his work at his desk. He waited for his lover to wake up then he would treat her to a meal. He set up a video call so he could watch Ivy while she slept encase she needed something. He felt bad for not noticing her frail state this morning before he left.
