The minute Ivy went inside Noah's apartment Thomas took out his phone and dialled Aiden's number.

"Hello".

"Can I ask when Noah will be back today?".

"What happened?".

Thomas sighed and told Aiden everything from start to finish. Holding back information would only make matters worse.

"Wait for us outside of the apartment".

Half an hour later Noah exited the lift flanked by busy Aiden. Standing opposite Thomas he stood with an indifferent expression.

"Report".

Again Thomas repeated from the start of what happened that day.

"Why weren't you there?".

"I was but Ivy told me to stay back and by the time I got through the crowd of people it had already happened. I am so sorry".

"I'll let it go this time as Ivy is fond of you, but don't fail me again".

"Yes boss, sorry boss".

Noah entered the apartment. No warmth, no lights on, no cooking or even a candlelit. Noah's lover wasn't in the kitchen or lounging on the sofa. He went to the bedroom and spotted Ivy on the floor leaning against the window watching the rain run down it while wiping her tears away.

Noah was a cold man usually but watching Ivy made his heart twitch.

"Ivy".

Ivy shook and wiped her tears with her hand that had plastered on it from earlier.

"Sorry I don't have dinner ready".

"It's ok, we can order".

"Yea no dishes". Ivy tried to sound enthusiastic but failed miserably. Ivy showed Noah the watch.

"My grandpa's watch I broke it earlier and it's broken now, I think it's beyond repair".

Ivy walked towards Noah to enter the living room. Noah put out his arm and caught Ivy in a hug. Ivy held onto his suit jacket and cried. Ivy didn't even notice Noah pick her up and bring her to bed. Ivy cried until she fell asleep.

Not long after Noah got up out of bed, leaving Ivy sleeping he entered the living room and called Aiden.

"Look into Rachel Smith, you have till 7 am".

"On it boss".

While Noah's men worked throughout the night Noah had kept Ivy company making sure she had a peaceful sleep.

At 6 am Noah walked into his bathroom and showered and changed for the day. Taking one last look at Ivy on the bed he left the room. Aiden was in the living room waiting.

"Sir we found out that Rachel Smith has many lovers ranging from diplomats to celebrities. Enclosed is photographic evidence".

Aiden gave Noah a large folder. Noah didn't open it not wanting to see any woman naked apart from Ivy.

"You choose, pick the best and send them to the press anonymously".

"Yes sir".

"Let's go".

Noah and Aiden left for the office for the day.

A few hours later

I woke with my eyes stinging and puffy. Remembering last night and feeling embarrassed that I had cried on Noah's shoulder. I rolled over and checked the time, seeing it was eleven I didn't get out of bed. Instead, I flicked through my apps then checked the news. I sat up shocked covering my mouth smiling. Rachel Smith was all over the news, there were many many scandals with different men. She would be ruined now and this would finish her. She wouldn't be able to be cocky and proud anymore.

This had to of been Noah. I opened my texting app and click on his name I send him a kiss emoji. That should do it.

I bounce up and get ready for the day. Wearing my leggings and bra top I go out into the living room straight to the kitchen. I plan to prepare a feast for my handsome man. He got revenge for me without me even asking.

A few hours later Noah entered the apartment. I skipped towards him and kissed his lips. Taking his coat off I smile.

"Thank you".

"It was nothing".

"Still".

I drag him onto the couch and hand him a whiskey. He takes a sip and I sit on his lap. He gives me a small smile and places down his glass and grabs me closer for a kiss.

"I deserve a reward".

"Yep".

He lifted me over his shoulder smacking my bum as he walks into the bedroom and closes the door. We both didn't stop until we were both satisfied. Rolling over and lying in his arms I feel a sense of security and warmth I have never felt before.
