"Where too first?".

We get in the lift together and Ivy sighed. Any other bodyguard she probably would have tried to knock him out by now but she likes Thomas and couldn't hurt him.

"You have a car?".

They get out of the lift and go into the underground parking garage.

"Yes, over there".

He points to a black Bugatti Veyron.

"Pretty".

Ivy hopped in beside Thomas.

She gave Thomas the address for Jamie's apartment. Going up she knew she will have to explain to Jamie properly but she will not be able to tell him her plan with Thomas listening. Her only essentials here is Zeus and her laptop. If he wants me her he will have to take her dog too.

Ivy and Thomas enter Jamie's apartment and luckily he was not about. She wrote him a note and she would have to try to txt him later when she was free.

"Come on Zeus, new home to go to".

Zeus comes bounding out of her room to greet her.

"Thomas meet Zeus".

Thomas kneels and pets Zeus.

"Wait, Noah hates animals and mess".

Ivy put Zeus collar on while Thomas was having a breakdown. She rolled her eyes Noah isn't that scary really, well he hasn't been to me she thought. Thomas took out his phone and rings someone.

"Aiden, help.... Ivy she has a huge dog she's trying to bring it to the boss place....what do I do?".

"Ok.... he wants you".

Ivy rolled her eyes and took the phone from Thomas's hand.

"Hello".

"I want salmon for dinner".

"Wait salmon. What about Zeus?".

"We are still getting to know each other so Zeus will stay with Thomas for now".

Ivy looked over and Thomas is on the ground with Zeus rolling around.

"Ok".

She hung up, he surprisingly agreed with her request. He will be downstairs and they both seem to like each other she thought. Ivy looked at Thomas and got serious.

"If I'm going to entrust you with my baby you better look after him".

Thomas stands and fixes his suit.

"Yes, boss".

"I'm not you...whatever. Let's go Noah wants salmon".

They go downstairs and Thomas carries her laptop and a bag of clothes while she leads Zeus out and into his car.

Thomas drives them to the supermarket. When she looks out the window at there destination she rolls her eyes and then wasn't surprised at where Thomas took them.

"You know this is known as the rich housewives supermarket?".

"So it's where you should get boss his things".

"Seriously".

She couldn't believe this man. The fish market would have been fine and so would a normal grocery store.

Ivy got out and headed into the supermarket. She left Zeus and Thomas in the car so they can bond. She walked in and the place is spotless. Everything is very expensive and there's a lot of imported brands. Annoyed she rubbed her temple and she rang Noah.

"Hello".

"..".

"Listen this place is overpriced do u have to buy stuff here... do you even know what they call this place.... the rich housewives supermarket and I swear the sales clerk is even looking down on my dress sense."

"Those bitches."

Noah could imagine his kitten pouting while talking to him and walking around.

"So it's ok to go somewhere else."

"No be good and shop, Thomas has my card wave it in the bitches face".

"Mmm... can't I just leave".

"No be good and get the Salmon".

Ivy hung up annoyed at this man's way of wasting money. She walked around and picked up all the ingredients she needed and also stopping at the imported goods section. She picked up some crisps and chocolates and head for the counter.

"These please".

The same sales girls looking me up and down again. Ivy ignores her stares and looked around as she puts through and bags up her items. The other women there are all done up to perfection, all rich men's wives shopping.

Ivy wondered if this would have been her if Cole.... never mind, I'm not living for anyone but myself now she thought.

"Thanks".

She smiled at the sales girl paid and left.

As she walked out she saw Lauren walking towards her. She was her best friend and closest to her. It's not my day is it she thought before trying to pass her but she stops after spotting Ivy.

"Ivy, oh my it's u look so....so different. I'm sorry about what happened you won't blame me right. I mean he chooses me and not you, it all worked out in the end right. You weren't right for each other anyway".

Lauren was g Ivy and trying her patience. She was pushing the blame on Ivy when it was she who slept with Cole behind her back for two years. Ivy looked at Lauren, she is what Ivy would have been if Cole hadn't acted odd. Head to toe in designers dress and blazer combo. She was Ivy's best friend now looking back it seemed that she was using her to try and get Cole from the beginning.

They met in college Lauren was Ivy's roommate so they had lived together. At the time Ivy's father wanted her to marry Cole so had agreed to date him. That's how Lauren met Cole.

But Ivy didn't kiss or even hold his hand as she wasn't interested in him. My so-called best friend took this as an opportunity and gave him what he was missing. So as Ivy was feeding his stomach making him his meals and being a housewife and he was having fun with her. Ivy felt so foolish.

"Lauren, it's all for the best you are welcome to Cole I have moved on".

Ivy try's and walk away but Lauren holds her arm.

"Look if your free me and Cole would love to have you for dinner, it'll be like old times".

"No, I'm busy".

"But I haven't said a time yet".

"You enjoy dinner with Cole, I'd rather go home and stick pins in my eyes than eat with either of you."

Lauren looks stunned but Ivy walked away.

"Wait, I heard you and Noah...".

Ivy turned and cut her off straight away.

"One man not enough, is Cole lacking money now he doesn't have my fathers or my investments? Keep your filthy ideas away from my Noah".

Ivy walked away leaving Lauren dumbfounded she indeed did want the chance to meet Noah and he might like her the way Cole had preferred her to Ivy. But without Ivy, she could never meet Cole.

Thomas gets out and takes Ivy's shopping as she entered the car. They sit and he starts the engine.

"Did you hear any of that?".

"Yes".

Ivy glared a warning at Thomas.

"Do not repeat any of it to Noah understand".

"Yes".
