Secrets Of The Universe Chapter 214

As a warrior on the battleground, one should only think about their enemies. They should only focus on the present.
How many should they kill?
How many can they kill?
What can they contribute to the grand scheme of things?
How appropriately should they use their bodies?
All these questions should be what swam inside a soldier's head.
Therefore, Kaleyx followed these principles to the core.
She was only concerned with killing...with slashing...with decapitating.
Before she was thrown into the battleground, the orientation she received was about the important details of her enemies.
However, she did not mind.
Kaleyx had never questioned any task she was given. Her mindset was only concerned about living and killing was a form of living.
It didn't take long for her to become a formidable force on the battleground.
She was not the most prominent celestial warrior but she was always above average.
After eons, when it was time for the war to reach its conclusion, Kaleyx was part of the disposable few sent to fight in the actual Nether realm.
She remembered back then when she was given the mission, she just nodded without any thought.
After all, it was an honour for a fallen celestial to be a sacrifice to her race.
The same could not be said for her invincible sister, who was among the most talented celestials.
She was sent to escort them to the nether realm but was not allowed to enter along with the team.
This was a way to safeguard her life. Ultimately, the celestial council had decided that she along with the other prominent celestials were too valuable to be used as cannon fodder.
However, things didn't go as planned.
On their way to the nether realm, they were ambushed by strong netherans, who had already sensed their infiltration.
This led to a battle between the two sides and the netherans won.
The celestial team was taken by their ambushers to the nether realm where they were locked for centuries.
The only reason they were still alive was that they served as a constant source of lifeforce to one of the netheran gods.
Like that, the team was eliminated from the war.
A few centuries later, Kaleyx's mind gradually became eroded by the abundant nether energy.
She began to rediscover herself and her mindset changed from a passive one to an aggressive one.
For the first time in her life, she released her forbidden powers and killed the nether god.

She freed her teammates, proof that she still retained a bit of sanity.
While they tried to escape, they found themselves unlucky as the battle was finally at its conclusion.
However, they were still in the nether realm!
It was then they witnessed the celestial king use a desperate attack to banish the nether realm from the third dimension.
He was successful and certainly a good thing for the celestial but not for the ones that were still in the nether realm.
Kaleyx, along with her team, was quickly surrounded by the other netherans.
After putting up much fight, they were killed, brutally.
To Kaleyx, it was nothing tragic. Death was a form of peace.
She longed to sleep and forget all about the war.
The memories of her family had long since waned. The only person she conversed with was her sister. Yet, they were never good conversations.
In the end, she was all alone…..the fate of every celestial warrior.
Kaleyx found herself seduced by the allure of death the older celestials warned her about.
She laid in its bed and slept with.
So, when she finally found a blade in her celestial heart, she simply let go and didn't resist…...she died!
However, death was a concept that only applied to lesser beings.
For god-like beings, death had loopholes and celestials were hard-wired to pick on those loopholes.
Celestials could never truly die. They were always reborn.
It didn't matter in what form or in what method, they would always come back to live, whether in the following year after their death or centuries after.
Perhaps this was why they had grown to be such a methodic race.
After Kaleyx's first death, she was granted peace for eons.
However, this was when things got tricky.
Due to the nature of the nether realm, no soul could ever escape from there, not to talk of enemy souls.
Soon, it was the time for Kaleyx's rebirth but right ever she took her first breath, she was killed by a nether god.
She reincarnated the third time but was eaten alive.
The fourth time, she was cooked.
The fifth time, she was forced to be a servant of another nether god.
The fifth time, she hid for centuries but was later found out by another nether god, who proceeded to eat her.
To the nether gods, she was a consumable item that could provide them with a huge power boost. The worst part of all was that this item could never be truly finished.

Kaleyx could already guess the fate of the other celestials that died with her.
After each rebirth, they would be hunted down like wild games.
This cycle continued till Kaleyx's fiftieth(50th) reincarnation. It was at that time that the nether realm got to the second dimension and without any surprises, a war ensued between both sides.
The same scenario repeated itself with the inhabitants of the second dimension bringing the war over to the nether realm.
This time, Kaleyx had an idea to seal away all her powers and act as a human.
She managed to hide in the battleground in the nether realm. However, the battleground was quickly lost due to the disparity in the strength of both sides.
Kaleyx was found out and imprisoned again.
Time went by and due to the restrictions imposed on the nether realm by Heaven, the strong ones in the second dimension managed to repel the nether realm, sending it away.
Eons went by, but this time, Kaleyx changed her tactics.
Since she could never truly die, she decided to use the period of time to train herself and discover more about her powers.
Over time, she evolved into a full fallen celestial and began a menacing threat in the nether realm.
She wandered the nether realm and killed a lot of nether gods. Each time she rebirth, she would become a lot stronger and that increased her chance of an eventual escape.
It didn't take long before she was yet again captured by another nether god, who, this time, made sure she could never escape.
However, that was her plan all along.
She let him feed on her while she engaged in mental training. If she had continued resisting them, she would eventually become a machine, just like her former self.
Hence, what she had to do was to bid time for a big escape attempt.
Also, she was able to extract information about the structure of the nether realm from her captor.
This would help her better construct her plan.
A thousand years after being locked by the nether god, Kaleyx got a chance.
It was in form of another invasion. The nether invasion on the first dimension.
Kaleyx made sure to be patient. She skipped the netherans' first attempt on the first dimension.
She also skipped their second one.
During their third attempt, she finally saw hope in escaping.
It was a plane, an elemental pane that felt like home to her, the Negative Plane!
Even in the nether realm, she could feel it calling to her. The sensation she perceived from it felt like a mother's embrace.
Kaleyx knew it was time!
She tugged at her connection with the negative plane and used it provoke the nether realm.
Then, she exploded with her full power and killed the nether god. After that, she proceeded to wipe out all the nether gods she could see.
Finally, she found the link between the nether realm and the first dimension and escaped through it, but not before receiving immense damage from an attack of a stronger nether god.
On her way to the first dimension, she died, but it was a good thing for her.
Using her trained powers, she manipulated her rebirth circumstances and made sure she was reborn in an egg in the negative plane.
That was the only place where she could receive the maximum nutrition which would allow her to recuperate her injuries.
From there henceforth, it became easy for her.
She quickly adapted to the restrictions of the first dimension and tried to heal her injuries but it proved too tough to heal.
Kaleyx spent a few years in the negative plane and knew it was almost time for her rebirth.
She could not rebirth in the negative plane as she needed to be recognized as an actual inhabitant of the first dimension.
If she was rebirth as a celestial, she would be banished by Heaven as her powers were beyond what the dimension could endure.
Hence, she needed something to stabilize her powers. She needed to venture into their physical plane to get that.
Decisively, she manipulated her egg form and left the negative plane. Using the link between the nether realm and the physical world, Kaley slipped inside the mundane world and found herself in the presence of extremely weak netherans,
When she matured and completed her full rebirth, Kaleyx instantly absorbed the banshee queen and a few humans.
She used their blood information to change herself into a mix of the three sides; Her fallen celestial side, the human side, and the banshee queen's side.
This let her pass as an inhabitant of the first dimension but in turn, made her lose her powers as it wasn't allowed here.
However, before she could lose all her powers, she managed to compress them into her halo. She sealed it there as a way to become powerful when she had no more options.

Gaslgiht
There is a common line of questioning that falls upon students within their first moments at Kingsly. “Why?”. The student asks, “Why am I here?”. This is a futile line of questioning. There are those who remember, and those who do not. I’ll spare you the technical explanation — that’s what we have teachers for. The jist is as follows: those who remember are... how do I put this... more likely. They occupy more time. and the space that time has allowed them — the pertinent amount — is experienced no matter what. Allow me to offer you a bit of personal information: I am not one who remembers. There is no time relevant to me, no space that I occupy. I exist by carving myself here, and continue to exist in the same fashion. You would do well to follow suit. Why am I here? Because I force myself to be. Because the universe, the universes, for all its kicking and screaming, cannot escort me out.
