Secrets Of The Universe Chapter 175

It was calm.
Despite the fight ongoing, the weather was gentle and cool, the clouds were smiling, the harsh sun was hidden in the sky. Plants grew bountifully. The grasses obediently absorbed the impact of the fight.
However, when Jake revealed the card and channeled his energy into it, everything peaceful became eroded by a turbulent atmosphere!
A huge boom sounded in the background as thunders struck the earth. The peaceful burnt too blue and threatened to burst apart. The sun bypassed the defense of the sky and move closer to the earth. All sorts of other natural chaotic events followed after their predecessor!
Even far away from Jake and the other candidate, the sea bed shrunk in size, and tsunamis raided other islands.
Meanwhile, the two in the eye of this grand storm were protected from the chaos around them.
Encased in a cool blue energy that had the same shade as the card, the two didn't know what happened next.
One moment, they were here, and the next, they were shuffling through the grand universe.
Being carried around by the card's energy, Jake tried to analyze everything he saw. It was all too familiar...the stars, planets, asteroids. His brain started to hurt as he bit more than he could chew.
He ultimately dropped the notion of analyzing and surrendered himself to this hyper-travel.
After a few more moments--seconds--minutes--days--........
Jake had completely lost track of time. If he was an ordinary person, he would think that he had just spent seconds.
However, Jake was someone that had a different time perspective due to the other. He could tell there was something wrong with the time. His natural body clock had wrapped around itself when it tried to measure time.
So, he could only drop that thinking and wait.
He waited and finally, the energy-carrying him stopped in a space with no visible stars.

The dancing particles in the space shone with familiar cool blue energy as they circled around him, welcoming him to a grand presence, but Jake could not see it!
He couldn't see anything except the particles.
*Srhzzz!*
Suddenly, his [Akashic Eye] starts to palpitate. Buzzing around like it sensed something unknown to Jake, the eye tingled with small electrical sparks, warning Jake of something, but the latter couldn't understand.
As he floated in this space, protected by the blue energy that covered his lungs and nose, Jake finally sensed something…...a foreboding warning!
He slowly turned around like a machine and found himself in the presence of a mind-blowing object.
No, it wasn't an object!
It was a triangular celestial body!. Its mere presence could send a mortal to instant comma, even death.
Its aura spread boundlessly, unfettered by the cultivators' concept of limits. It was in front of it that Jake remembered the reason for his existence.
Yes, Jake had pursued something like these. Not the strength this celestial body showed, but the perfection…...the neutrality…...the sense of infinity....
He knew he had tried his best, but he couldn't avoid getting dragged into the world's conflict, preventing from solely focusing on perfection.
Jake quickly adjusted his breathing and eyed the celestial body.
It was shaped finely like a star, but couldn't be called one. Its accurate shape was a triangular pyramid, a tetrahedron.
Jake could feel that it was alive, sleeping.
It's every breath brought out more blue particles that filled this empty space. It seemed like it was moving, but Jake wasn't sure whether his eyes were deceiving him or not as he couldn't see any visible movement.
Jake also noticed that to his left was the candidate, also covered in blue energy like him. He couldn't tell what her expression was, but he at least knew that she probably felt the same thing as him.

Deep in his thorough examination, the gold card that was still in Jake's hand pulsed with a low wave.
Instantly, the particles in the air slowly rose up, like they would have if they were bound by gravity.
Preceding their act action was the increased pressure of the celestial pyramid. Its soft pulses gradually increased and when it was at its peak, an eye opened from its center!
An eye, one eye, yet Jake found himself staring at it.
He had realized that his [Akashic Eye] quietened when it saw this eye.
Frankly speaking, the eye in the pyramid resembled the [Akashic Eye]...a bit.
They both embodied the cosmic aspects. However, his eye was the revealer of all secrets, while this one felt more like an eye of…...providence, that watched mortals from the heaven, like it was doing to him and the candidate now!
However, one similarity that they both had was that there weren't human-like. This eye in the pyramid was constructed from the blue particles around him.
Yet, Jake could admit that it looked a bit like a human eye. It possessed components like an iris, a pupil, and etcetera.
The moment the eye revealed itself, the blue energy on Jake's body did a scan on him!
It penetrated his deepest parts, but only carefully grazed around his [Akashic Eye].
When the energy was done scanning both him and the candidate, it sent a apportion of it back to the eye, which absorbed it.
After that, the eye stares at Jake and the candidate. It seems to be in thought, but Jake couldn't understand what its thought process was like.
The eye then emotionlessly glances at the golden card in Jake's hand.
Instantly, the card levitates away from Jake's hand and floats to the eye.
In the blink of an eye, it changed form, turning into a long golden scroll that was as tall as an average human.
Adorned on it were different characters, belonging to various races, some of them felt ancient, while some of them felt fresh.
However, Jake was lucky he could automatically decipher all the characters or he would have been left in the unknown.
Once again, the blue energy lingering on him pulsed, but this time, not to the eye, but to Jake.
It moved Jake's body regardless of his will and brought him closer to the scroll. A pen materialized from the blue particles and Jake soon found himself compelled to write on the scroll!
