One Piece: Path To Power Chapter 58
Advertisement
Not a chapter, I will post one in a few hours, but this is important so do read, or die.
So I planned {Ancient Voice} a bit hastily and ended up making some plot holes so I will clarify the skill on its own. A rookie author mistake, so to speak.
The skill was intended to be a 'unique' power of his own like each 'Top Dog' in One Piece has.
It is MAINLY to reign over all animals and hear the 'Voice of All Things', the human control is only a byproduct of his voice.
It's not really a nerf but things I had intended from the start but forgot to specify.
⚠ READ AT LEAST THE 'RESTRICTIONS' PART ⚠
----- Recap ---------------------------------
What it can do before Evolution (Chapter 6):
- Gives control over low-intelligence animals of land, sea and air
- Weak-willed humans will be compelled by your words
- Zoan users might face stronger effects
- Stronger-willed humans will face varying effect by your voice
-----
Evolved Version (Chapter 49):
- Gives control over low-intelligence animals of land, sea and air
- Zoan users might face stronger effects
- Greatly increases the degree of compulsion
- Anyone below 3 sub-levels of strength will be fully compelled with your words (currently Low-Tier Yonko Commanders and weaker)
- Anyone below your level but above the 3 sub-level threshold will face a varying degree of effect
- Allows you to use your mind to inflict illusions of any form upon others
- The weaker the mind of a person, the more difficult it is for them to escape from your grasp
- Allows you to subject certain ideas into one's mind while them being unaware of your mental intervention
- Allows you to mould illusions with your Conqueror's Haki release to inflict greater fear and suppression onto your foes

----------------------------------------------
⚠ RESTRICTIONS:
- Commands issued can only affect the controlled for a small amount of time (He can be like, "KYS", and they will, he can't be like "Be my dog for 30 years".)
- If Damien directs a command at a small group of individuals then they will wholly be compelled to do so (as long as the above conditions apply)
- If Damien directs a command over a large group, they will be controlled but will remain conscious of their actions like during chapter 26 when they sat as told but were confused as to why they did so
- Does not affect Conquerors or Strong-willed Individuals (practically anyone above Yonko Commander)
- It is COMPULSION, not BRAINWASHING --> He cannot force loyalty but only force a few actions that last a short amount of time. Therein, he cannot just go and get hundreds of thousands of pirates under 100% control like Enigma
- There is a loophole to the loyalty thing but it is for me to know and for you to discover
----------------------------------------------
Again, the power is mainly for the VOaT and control over all animals, the human control is mainly a side-effect of his powerful voice which is why it only works on the weak-minded
I will also post a new chapter after the ability was introduced with the restrictions, this is for the current readers
----------------------------------------------
I dislike the idea of brainwashed subordinates, it's boring and dry so it won't happen.
I know I could have made it an AUX but let's be honest, no one actually listens to my spoiler warnings

Quick question: Did Roger and WB infuse Conqueror's in the clash during the Oden flashback? Or was it only Ryou?

As the Godking Wills
The Empire and the Church span almost the entirety of the known world, absent some pockets of lawlessness and the realms of the deceiver. They are governed as a despotic theocracy, ruled in name by the solitary and omnipotent God, Al'Shazan. In practice, Al'Shazan is bored, flighty, cruel and has little interest in ruling the Empire. Instead the Empire is run by the High Priest, Minister of the Treasury, and the Knight Commander of the inquisition. Their job is to make sense of the contradictory nonsense spewed forth by their living God while simultaneously ruling the greatest nation that the world has ever known. The entire time, they have to maintian the facade that Al'Shazan is a benevolent and loving God in order to maintain morale in the general populace. --------- The actual genre for this is more along the lines of a Fantasy Political Comedy/Drama/Thriller. It will not be 'crunchy' (minimal action, minimal descriptions of powers/abilities) but instead be focusing on world building and political maneuvering. As a warning, it is fairly dark.

The Long and Exciting Life of Kreet the Kobold (Life 2)
Kreet was originally a D&D character. Life 1 was essentially her backstory. Life 2 picks up just after the events of the D&D campaign in the Underdark. At first you won't recognize the characters, but bear with it for a couple chapters and the few important points will be revealed. Also I stole a player's character (with his permission!) in the form of Sigmundurr. Also, unlike Life 1, I'll be posting this slowly over time. Right now I'm writing around chapter 20 and I suspect I'm only halfway. Tone may be a little different. ( Cover art by KuroNeko I'm pretty sure!)
