Stacy's eyes remained fixed on Lina's back until she disappeared from her sight.

Just now, she had seen how her little sister's cheeks burned red as she turned away and walked out of the door.

'Why did she blush?' She wondered with confusion apparent on her face.

She had hoped to speak about her relationship with Aya once Lina gets back but looking at her little sister's bashful expressions, Stacy understood that Lina had something to say to her as well.

This speculation made her excited, hoping that evening would arrive earlier.

'I wonder what she has to say?' She giggled as mischief danced around in her eyes.

Butler Mo shook his head at this scene before he returned to his duties.

However, he did not forget to call and inform the Butler of the Yang Manor about the safe return of their Young Miss.

Though they were jealous of Butler Mo who had met her before they could, the Ping couple began preparations for Lina's return after work in the evening.

Outside the mansion, Wade entered his car while Lina and Benji chose to ride in Derek's car as he had driven them here from the hotel.

It did not take much time for the two cars to reach Obsidia's headquarters as the early morning rush hours had already come to an end while Lina was still changing her clothes in the Luo Residence.

They had a smooth ride, without any hassle of dealing with heavy traffic.

The first to notice the arrival of their VP was the security guard who greeted him after seeing him get off the car.

Wade nodded but did not enter the building like he usually would.

Instead, he stood next to the guard and gazed at the road as though he was waiting for someone else to arrive.

'Who could it be?' The guard tried to speculate the identity of the person who was able to make their scary VP wait on the street for them.

He received his answer the next moment when another sleek black sedan came to a halt before the building's entrance.

Before the chauffeur could open the door for the one seated in the backseat, their VP had done the honors which now confirmed the identity of who this person could be.

"Good morning, Miss Lina!" The guard greeted her enthusiastically as she had been missing for quite a few days now.

The staff had heard that she had asked for leave to travel outside the country for a while.

This made them wonder when she would be back as they liked having her here in the office.

Seeing Lina today, the guard was happy and his joy appeared on his face.

Lina smiled at him as well before she waved him goodbye and entered the office building with Benji and Wade by her side.

Since work hours had already begun, not many were present in the lobby but the receptionists witnessed how Lina strode in with the VP and her assistant.

'She doesn't care about the office timings.' The receptionist, Linda, who had argued with Lina in the past, rolled her eyes at this sight.

However, the other receptionist with her was all smiles when she saw her Cupcake fairy returning to work after a long break.

'At least try to hide your glare.' Lina sighed at the receptionist who was displaying hostile behavior towards her.

Her eyes then fell on the other lady who was smiling so Lina returned the kind gesture.

This made the second receptionist blush as she watched the Cupcake fairy pass her by and enter into the elevator with the VP.

"You won't get anything by currying favor with her." Linda scoffed once they had left the lobby.

This made the other lady roll her eyes and ignore her associate who only had bad things to say.

'Not everyone had a motive in mind while greeting others.' She remained silent about her thoughts as there was no use in trying to explain her attitude to Linda.

Inside the elevator, Lina played with her phone while Benji looked through their schedule for the day.

Since it was her first day back after the long break, she did not have much to do.

The meeting set at 11 AM would start in an hour and she could laze around until she was asked to arrive at the meeting hall.

When the elevator stopped at the floor assigned to the Marketing department of Obsidia, Lina and Benji got off and turned around.

"I'll send word when it's time." Wade reminded them just as the doors began to shut and soon the panel showed that the next stop was the topmost floor of the building

'Everything is ready anyway.' Lina shrugged as she had nothing to worry about.

Therefore, she and her assistant turned around only to find that the entire office was staring at her.

Every employee of the Marketing Department had their eyes fixed on the Young Lady of the Yang family who was also their department's Consultant.

The last time they had seen her was when she had the scandal with the Research Analyst, Maxene Kang who had tried to slander her and thus had gotten fired after her failed attempt.

Soon after that incident, Lina Yang had applied for leave with both the Department's head, Stuart Bai, and also had it approved by the VP.

Therefore, this was the first time they were seeing her after her application for leave was approved.

Among the numerous pairs of eyes gawking at her, Lina found two pairs that were shining brightly after noticing her arrival.

A brilliant smile from Julia and a pitiful gaze from Leon Jiu were what met her eyes.

'What's with that look on his face?' Lina wondered as she turned to look at the other assistant who had a gloomy expression rooted on his face.

Benji and Julia, who had noticed Lina's attention to Leon's pitiful face both rolled their eyes as they knew the reason for his disheartened attitude.

Ignoring the numerous people staring at her, Lina and Benji walked towards the two assistants seated next to each other.

Since Benji's work desk was next to theirs, he had to place his belongings here before he could escort Lina to her office room.

However, just as he was about to place his stuff on the table, his body moved to the left in one swift move.

The cause of this was the movement he had caught from the corner of his eye.

Lina had been walking right behind him and just as she had come close to their work desks, she heard a loud cry.

"Lina!" Leon pounced at her the moment she was within reach.

Thankfully, Benji's quick reflexes had come into play at the right second and he blocked Leon's path.

This caused the bearded assistant to crash into Benji's rock-hard chest muscles, succeeding in almost breaking his nose.

'Yikes!' Lina grimaced when she saw the reddening nose of the poor man whose eyes were now brimming with tears due to the shooting pain.

"What are you trying to pull?" Benji scowled while pushing him away.

Leon had already been in a sad mood for the past few days and now, he was also injured and in pain.

This only made him look like a pitiful pup who was lost and all alone, melting all the women's hearts who had come across this scene.

Among the women who were feeling sorry for Leon Jiu were Lina and Julia who glared at Benji.

The assistant was bewildered at this sudden change in their attitudes as just earlier they had been scowling at Leon.

"My office has an ice pack." Lina remembered and ushered the injured man towards her room.

Unlocking the door, she hurried him inside while Benji and Julia followed soon after.

The ones who remained outside were confused about what had just happened in a matter of seconds.

They had seen their Cupcake fairy return after her long leave then Asst Leon had pounced on her but was blocked by Asst Benji who was later scorned by the two women.

Now, they looked at the shut door where the three assistants and the Consultant of their department had entered.

'What exactly happened?' They glanced around and found that the others also had similar looks of bewilderment on their faces.
