The sky outside was bright with birds chirping in a lively manner as they flew across the clear blue skies.

As the city rose from its slumber and got on with its daily routine, one certain couple was fast asleep.

Half naked and curled in each other's embrace were the ones who had stayed up until late last night.

The man had his arm wrapped tight around the woman's slender waist as she rested her head on his chest, listening to the steady beating of his heart.

The two were undisturbed by the happenings of the world, lost in their own little dreamland which they continued to stay inside.

However, this could not last for long.

*Ding dong*

The sound of the doorbell ringing brought a frown on the woman's face as she snuggled closer, greedily seeking warmth from the chest she was currently laying on.

While the woman did not awaken from this sound, the man's slumber broke as his eyes fluttered open.

His gaze first landed on the tiny figure clinging to his body and a smile appeared on his face.

Leaning forward, he swiped the hair covering her face away and placed a warm kiss right at the center of her forehead.

Though still in her sleep, the frown on her face softened and peacefulness returned to her visage.

'She looks so cute.' Reuben, the man with his Kitten in his arms appreciated this beautiful sight his eyes had laid on first thing in the morning.

His moment of appreciation for the woman stuck close to his body was disrupted when the sound of the doorbell was once again heard.

'Is that Manager looking for death!?' His eyes darkened at the thought of the person who was disturbing them.

His eyes darted to the clock and he learned that they had slept in longer than usual.

However, thinking of what had taken place last night and how they had stayed up way past their usual bedtime, this was expected.

Last night, he had seen the bold side of his Kitten and he enjoyed every minute of it.

Unfortunately, before he could reminisce any further about the events of last night, the doorbell was heard once again.

This time, he was thoroughly infuriated by the one who was bent upon disturbing them.

'Does that Manager not understand that he should leave if no one is answering the door?' He scoffed at the man with such low EQ that he was still here even when the door wasn't opened after ringing the bell so many times.

His anger, however, faded when he felt the woman in his arms stirring as she groaned and grumbled.

Rubbing her cheek over the bare chest she had been laying on, Lina's lashes fluttered as she aroused from her slumber.

'Who the fuck is so annoying this early in the morning!?' She cursed the person ringing the doorbell.

Ever the grumpy person in the morning, Lina's brows were already scrunched up as she opened her eyes.

However, her annoyance at the disturbance was washed away when she met the face of the man who was looking down on her.

"Good morning, Kitten." A low, gruff voice greeted her with tenderness apparent as he spoke.

Lina's lips curved into a wide smile as she hummed in response to his greeting and gave him a warm hug.

Reuben too curled his arms around her, his palms landed on her naked back.

His eyes drank in the beautiful sight of his girlfriend naked from the top until it landed on the shorts that still remained.

Lina blushed under his hungry gaze as she too looked at his naked chest and ran a finger over his rock-hard abdominal muscles.

Reuben had his pants back on after what had taken place last night but neither of them had bothered to put their tops on.

His strong palms rubbed her back as he remembered that she had that beautiful tattoo etched on her skin there.

Lina blushed further, recalling that she had shown her biggest insecurities, her large breasts, and her tattoo to him last night.

'Though he had already seen the tattoo…' She thought back to the time where he had seen her coming out of the swimming pool in his penthouse apartment.

The couple who were lost in their world was once again interrupted by the ringing of the doorbell, succeeding in wrecking the sultry atmosphere inside the bedroom.

"Just a moment." Reuben uttered through gritted teeth as he looked her in the eyes.

He gently placed the lady on the bed as he sat up and reached his hand out to the long silk robe to cover his naked upper body.

Lina understood what his words and actions meant as she nodded to him.

However, the very next moment, she shot up in bed which froze the man who was putting his hand in through the sleeves of the robe.

"Is everything alright?" Reuben inquired as he glanced at her, completing his actions from earlier.

Even without his conscious effort, his eyes drifted to her full breasts which bounced a couple of times due to her abrupt movements.

'Stop being a pervert, Reuben Ming!' He chided himself for acting like a horny teenager who had never seen breasts before.

"Ruby, why don't you freshen up? I'll go see who it might be!" She offered hastily as she leaped towards the edge of the bed.

Her legs reached the floor but she could not take another step forward and the reason for this was the man who had blocked her path.

"You want to go out looking like this?" Reuben's low voice was dangerous as he lowered his head to look into her eyes.

Oblivious to what he meant by saying this, Lina tilted her head looking like an innocent kitten who was confused.

However, realization took over her face when she saw his eyes dart lower from her eyes.

'Shit!' She blushed and covered her hands over her rounded breasts but that did not help conceal her precious goods from him.

'I'd gouge everyone's eyes out if they ever laid eyes on her body!' Reuben's possessiveness was taking hold of him at the very thought of such a thing ever happening.

Stretching his waist, he bent to the side and after picking up her robe, he handed it to her.

"You stay. I'll go!" Lina declared once again while putting on that gown in a haphazard manner and stood up.

Reuben frowned as he took a step to the side, not objecting to her words as he gave her his silent acquiescence.

However, before she could take a step forward, he blocked her path again and pulled the belt of the robe tighter to make sure that it was secured.

Lina chuckled at his cute actions and nodded when it was tied properly.

Reuben then watched as his Kitten ran out of the room as though her life depended on it.

'Something strange is going on here…' He raised his brows, suspicious about her hasty actions.

However, he decided to follow her instructions and freshen up first.

Standing right outside the bedroom door, Lina sighed when she heard the sound of the bathroom door being opened then shut.

'Now that I have handled this…' She straightened her back and rushed towards the door.

Stopping before the door, she glanced down to check if she was all decent, and only then did she unlock the door from the inside.

The person standing outside the door had just raised their hand to ring the bell once again when they heard a click which halted their movement.

"What the hell took you so long to open the door, Nana?" These scowling words were what greeted Lina the moment she opened the door.
