'I was embarrassed that he would…' Lina thought as she covered her cheeks with her palms.

When Reuben had carried her and began walking in the direction of the bathroom, the one who was panicking internally was Lina Yang.

They had just taken such a large step in their physical relationship but the thought of what might happen inside this bathroom was causing her to blush all over again.

She felt embarrassed that he might see her naked if they were to continue in here.

Was she ready to show her entire body to him?

Would he be satisfied with what she had or will he be unhappy about a certain part of her?

Troublesome thoughts about her insecurities were taking control of her entire being.

Just earlier, she had not hesitated while taking control of the flow and bringing her body to the climax that she desired but now she was plagued with thoughts of whether she would be enough for him or not.

Anxiety could hit anyone at any time and now it was Lina's chance to go through that moment of anxiety and panic.

Her body was subconsciously squirming while in his arms which alerted the man who was struggling to open the door of the bathroom while his hands were occupied by the woman.

"What are you thinking about?" He inquired while glancing down at her.

Lina looked up then at the door and realized where he was struggling.

Raising her hand, she turned the knob and the door opened up for them.

"Tell me if you have any problems, Silly Ruby!" She chided as though she was perfectly fine until now.

The light from the bright bathroom finally illuminated the two people as they gazed into each other's eyes.

Before Reuben had carried her, he ensured that her robe was covering her properly so right now she was fully clothed.

The only part of her which was visible was the neck which he had painted red with his hickeys.

Her swollen lips and flushed cheeks were enough to make his heart thump louder just by looking at them.

But before he could focus on her beauty he caught the subtle panic in her eyes.

"And if you ever have any problem, let me know and don't keep thinking about it all by yourself." He offered his support in reply to her earlier demand.

A smile blossomed on her face as she gave him an earnest nod.

Chuckling, Reuben nodded with her as he strode into the bathroom which she had helped him in opening.

The gentleman placed her in the empty bathtub while making sure that she was covered properly.

While Lina watched in confusion, he ran out of the bathroom, and after a few seconds, she heard shuffling sounds coming from outside.

The man returned soon after and her face contorted into a look of surprise when she saw the items in his hands.

Towel, robe, and more clothes.

He had brought over a change of clothes for her and placed them on the shelf by the mirror.

Reaching close to her, he kissed her forehead and patted her head.

"Call me when you are done." He instructed while pointing at her legs which were the reason for her being carried in Princess-style.

Lina blushed and nodded as he winked at her and left the bathroom for her to finish washing her body in peace.

Coming back to her senses, she smiled to herself as she turned the water on after peeling the robe away.

His kind words, his attentive gestures, his body, his voice, everything was swirling around her mind as she began washing her body which had just come out of the bath earlier.

'I will get addicted to him if things keep going this way.' She predicted and realized that this would be such a bad thing after all.

With this thought in her mind, Lina giggled like a young school girl experiencing her first encounter with love as she splashed around in the water.

Outside the bathroom, Reuben stood for a few seconds and waited until he was sure that she was fine.

Only when he heard the sound of the water being turned on did he turn around and walk to his wardrobe.

'She had such a vulnerable look in her eyes just now…' He recalled which made him want to wipe away any traces of self-doubt or insecurity present in her heart.

However, he was aware that the human mind would be filled with insecurities one day or the other.

And all he could do to help her was to stand by her side and ensure that she felt wanted and appreciated just as she was.

For he was sure that if ever he was plagued with such daunting thoughts in his head, she would be willing to do the same as that was the kind of person his Kitten was.

'That's what makes her so special in my eyes.' He praised his girlfriend who was the best in his sight.

Glancing down, he started at the wet patch on his trousers and shook his head.

'A grown man soiling his pants…' He let out an awkward chuckle while picking up his towel and a new pair of nightwear.

Gathering the clothing items he needed, he shook his head while walking out of the room.

However, just as he was about to leave, he recalled the phone call that he had received while he and Lina were in each other's arms.

'I wonder who that was…' He returned and picked up his phone before leaving the room.

With his phone and clothes in his hands, Reuben strode into the room next to the study.

The vast bathroom that was surrounded by glass walls on two sides which Lina had felt shy to use was the room that he had just entered.

"Hello, my good old friend!" He cheered while looking at the hot tub in one corner of the room.

Reuben did not waste time and turned it on as he would have to return to his Kitten's side soon after.

Hurrying to take his clothes off, he averted his eyes from his boxers which were coated with a white liquid that he had shot out during his little fun time with her.

He coughed as he tossed it into the laundry hamper and stepped into the shower to rinse his body quickly before entering the tub which now had warm water with bubbles floating over it.

"Ohhh…" He groaned in relief at the soothing water which helped his tensed nerves.

'I will get Kitten to soak in this with me.' He planned what he might do next with her.

While soaking in the water, he stretched his hand and picked up the phone which was placed on the stool next to the tub.

"Who was it?" He muttered while looking through his call logs.

The familiar name that popped up made him rub his forehead as he was sure that his Grandpa wouldn't call him this late in the night if it wasn't for something important.

'Is everything alright back there?' He was worried that the reason for this sudden call was something urgent.

Therefore, he did not waste any time, calling him back to inquire if he needed something from him.

It only took a few seconds before the call was answered and as usual, the first thing that Reuben had to do was pull the phone away from his ear.

"Sneaking into hotel rooms!?" Aloysius Ming scowled the moment he answered the call.

He had been spending some quality time with his books when he received a call from an old friend informing him about his grandson's terrible ways.

When he had called Reuben to get an answer from him, his call was disconnected instantly.

Now that he had gotten the chance to speak to him, Aloysius would not lose this opportunity to give him a piece of his mind.

To say that Reuben was stunned would be an understatement.

He remained frozen for a few seconds which resulted in silence being heard on Grandpa Ming's side.

"Speak, boy!" He yelled, demanding for an appropriate explanation for what he had heard from his old friend.

Snapping out of his daze, Reuben scratched his neck while furrowing his brows.

"What are you talking about, Grandpa?" He retorted, sounding just as confused as he was at this moment.
