It was Friday today and the past couple of days went by in a blur with nothing much happening in Lina's life.

Before leaving work, she reminded everyone whom she invited, to be at the restaurant for the welcome party on time.

Everyone was excited to meet Mr Hitoshi's team and assured her that they would be punctual.

When she came back home, she washed up and asked to have her meal inside her room. Tonight's dinner was mushroom soup with her favorite toasted garlic bread followed by a huge slice of chocolate mud cake.

After enjoying her lovely dinner, she checked a few mails and then fell on her bed making plans for the next day.

Tomorrow would be the beginning of the weekend and she decided to do something useful, like putting her credit cards to good use and filling up her wardrobe with clothes that were appropriate for work.

She even planned on buying something nice for the welcome dinner on Sunday. After all she would be seeing her crush once again.

She swooned thinking of Ivan Zhou and giggled like a lovestruck teenager.

'Will he wear a suit or something more casual? He would look great in anything. Even if he isn't wearing anything.' She imagined that scene and drooled.

'But considering the place where the dinner is being held, I'm sure he will wear a suit.' She guessed and was a little disappointed.

She had already asked Butler Ping to recommend a nice restaurant for her and he had suggested *CLOVER*.

It was a popular five starred restaurant and was most famous for it's legend to be a good luck charm for people on their first dates.

'That's just some marketing bullshit. I've heard about such things multiple times.' She scoffed at the silly superstition.

Though Lina did not believe in such things, she decided to host the party at that place because of the raving reviews that she read about it on social media.

'Clover has an all you can eat chocolate fountain cart! I can't wait to try them.' She rubbed her tummy and drooled thinking about the soft marshmallows she would stuff into her mouth.

This was one of the deciding factors when choosing a restaurant for Lina who loved desserts.

She asked Butler Ping to immediately book a private room in Clover so that they may get to know each other and form a camaraderie because Mr Hitoshi's team might have to stay here for a long period of time.

Clover mostly had tables for two because its customers usually were the men coming there with their dates but they even had excellent private rooms with breathtaking views of the city.

Checking out the pictures she found online, she admired the place once again and admitted that Butler Ping had a great eye for such things.

Lina turned to her side and felt a slight ache in her neck. She stretched her neck and felt that it was a little sore. She rubbed it and moved her hands on to her shoulders.

Feeling the stress and tight muscles on her shoulders, she decided to take a nice relaxing bubble bath.

'Let's be a little extra today!' She took off her clothes and put on a bathrobe.

She called Suzie and asked her to get a bottle of white wine and a glass for her.

'A little this and now that…I'll need that as well!' She ran around picking up stuff.

When Suzie came back with the wine, she found her young miss bent over the bathtub.

"Young Miss, where do you want me to place them?" She showed the bottle and glass in her hands.

Lina just pointed to the cute little white bathroom stool next to the tub.

After Suzie placed them there, she saw Lina drop a blue colored ball into the water. It fizzed and dissolved in a few seconds.

Soon the water turned a beautiful ocean blue and the room was filled with a sweet alluring scent.

"Ahh.. Delicious!" Lina exclaimed and lit a few lavender scented candles.

Dimming the lights, she looked at Suzie observing the ambience that Lina had created in the bathroom.

"Wanna stay and watch?" Lina said teasingly and she moved her hands to remove the bathrobe covering her.

"Have a great time, Young Miss! I'll see you in the morning!" Suzie scurried away when she saw that Lina was about to take off the robe in her presence.

Lina heard the 'click' sound of her bedroom door closing after Suzie ran away.

"So innocent!" Lina giggled and shut the bathroom door. Pouring herself a drink, she took off the robe.

She got into the tub and pressed 'Play' on her phone. Soon the entire room was filled with soft romantic music while Lina closed her eyes and hummed along.

Wiggling her toes and splashing the water around she played like a little child while sipping her grown up grape juice.

The wine was a great accompaniment for such romantic music and therefore she did not realize when she emptied the entire bottle.

'This is so amazing!' She folded a towel and placed it under her neck then rested her eyes. All the tight muscles in her body felt relieved and she felt a sense of calm while sitting in the tub.

The warm water and the soothing music, combined with the fragrance of lavender was soon lulling her to sleep.

She nodded off a few times and when her hand that was on the edge of the tub slipped and fell into the water, she instantly woke up.

"Woah I almost fell asleep in the tub. That could've been dangerous!" She got up and dried herself using the towel placed there.

She applied her coconut body lotion immediately after she got out and then completed her skincare routine.

The wine was now showing its effects as Lina was terribly sleepy and was fighting a losing battle to keep her eyes open. This would always happen when she had any alcoholic drinks.

Lina could drink bottles and bottles of alcohol without puking but the only drawback was that she would soon fall asleep without thinking of where she was.

Her friends and brothers would never allow her to drink in their absence because of this reason.

Since she was already at home, she did not have to worry about her safety. So she got onto her bed and switched off the lights.

'Big day tomorrow, let's get some shuteye.' Putting on the gel eye mask, she pulled her comforter upto her neck and went to sleep.

Some time in the middle of the night, Lina's door was slowly pushed open and someone entered her room silently.

Because Suzie had closed the door before leaving, Lina completely forgot about locking the door from the inside.

The silent intruder carefully crept through the dark room and moved towards Lina after locking the door.

Maybe because she was too tired or because she had a little too much wine, Lina did not realise that the person was standing at the foot of her bed and was watching her sleep without a care in the world.

A few seconds later, a hand extended towards her face and slightly touched her forehead.

Lina's sweet dreams were not disturbed in the least bit but she felt something close to her face and swatted it away, thinking that it was a fly.

She then turned away from the person, showing her vulnerable back to them and continued sleeping.

In the dark of the night, all that could be heard were Lina's mild snores and the intruders' silent laugh.
