"Calm it down boy. Why would you attack this old man so angrily?" said the short figure in a hoarse deep voice that Damian would expect from a drunken old man.

The short figure could clearly sense that in the form that Damian was in, he was much stronger than him because of the factors that influenced his power in that unusual space, but either way, it wasn't hostile towards him.

Damian hearing that and seeing that the figure before him wasn't hostile, out of curiosity and sensing that he was able to overwhelm the spirit, he moved backwards and halted his attack.

{Damian, there are two types of spirits that can be found with Soul Spirits and most spirits will not be awakened until the cultivator has surpassed the Mortal Cultivation Level. And even when a user does surpass the Mortal Cultivation Level, most spirits are still dormant or are unable to be awakened for various different factors} stated Utsusu, seeing that Damian had stopped himself from attacking the figure.

{Body Augmentation Soul Spirits along with a few others are merely mutations, so do not actually have a spirit within them. While most other Soul Spirits also technically do not have a spirit, as the spirit within them doesn't have the capability to gain sentience so will lay dormant and will only be used as an ability and cannot be awakened}

{The two types of spirits are Originator Spirits and Natural Spirits. I am a natural spirit as this Soul Spirit that you have hasn't had a previous owner or user, meaning you are the originator of it. Originator Soul Spirits as you can guess, are the spirit of the original user or awakener of the Soul Spirit and most Soul Spirits will have Originator Spirits, as they are much more common and easy to awaken than Natural Spirits.

{Natural Spirits are formed naturally by the user and Natural Spirits cannot be passed on and are unique to every individual, while Originator Spirits can be owned by multiple individuals, but that never occurs in most cases}

{Natural Spirits are usually unusual creatures or beasts and are formed entirely out of everything to do with the individual. Their personality, their nature, their talent and everything else you can think of plays a part. Most of the time, having an intelligent Soul Spirit makes it harder to control as they can resist your control, but if they cooperate after being awakened, it can boost the power of the cultivator}

{Since Soul Spirits can influence the body of their user, if a spirit was awakened from a Beast Soul Spirit it could cause the cultivator to go berserk or feel a strong bloodlust}

{What I am trying to say is that there are many factors to how Soul Spirits work and what the spirit of it is like. You are able to awaken and communicate with any spirit that you are trying to permanently copy and you need to either force it to submit, or talk it into doing so. On some occasions, you can come across spirits that are not hostile and are willing to talk, and most of the time they are Natural Soul Spirits}

Everything Utsusu said to him opened his mind up even more and he didn't think much about the spirit aspect of Soul Spirits previously, because as far as he knew, he was the only one to have actually awakened the spirit of his Soul Spirit.

The entire time that Utsusu had been speaking to him, Damian had still been on high alert and kept quite a long distance between himself and the spirit, so he would have more time to react to an attack.

But in this weird space, attacks were more spiritual and relied on many factors other than physical power.

"So, you are the spirit of Clay's ability," said Damian, after Utsusu confirmed to him that it was a Natural Spirit.

"Yes, and although I am still dormant within him, I have been observing what has been occurring and from that, I have been able to learn the language you guys communicate with. There is still a while before he awakens me and even when he does, it will take him a while before I can actually communicate with him properly, but he has potential and I was formed out of his being as a whole" answered the blocky figure.

Damian was shocked by the figure's answer and was also shocked by the fact that it was able to speak and communicate.

"Right now I am a separate entity from the true body and this is only a projection of what I would be like, as the true spirit is still laying dormant within Clay right? This also means that there is no reason for me to try and fight you for control of your body, as you are clearly capable" said the spirit as it sat down on the ground, seemingly uninterested in fighting.

"However, could you do me the favour of explaining to me what you know, and in return, I will also tell you what I have figured out" requested the old man.

Damian couldn't tell if it was completely telling the truth and from what he could see, the spirit seemed genuine, but he didn't want to let his guard down.

{This is a good opportunity. The spirit has submitted to you and you can use the short time that you have to get as much out of it as you can} said Utsusu within Damian's mind.

Hearing that, Damian was more relaxed as he sat on the ground just like the spirit, but he still kept his distance and was prepared to take down the spirit at any moment.

"There isn't much time left and since you have willingly submitted to my control, this space will soon fall apart and you will be consumed by my Soul Spirit. So, where do you want to begin?" asked Damian as he relaxed slightly and urged the spirit to speak quicker.
