"Get ready" warned Sarah as she opened the door to her storage room.

Damian and Milo were unsure why she wanted them to get ready, but as soon as she opened the door, they were overwhelmed and shocked by a sudden wave of dense energy that left the storage room.

It wasn't a bad feeling that hurt them, but since it was unexpected, it shocked them as they suddenly felt the energy around them become denser and they could smell and feel the vitality within the storage room.

"Quickly get inside, or the pills and ingredients will lose all their potency" urged Sarah as she dragged them into the room and closed the door behind her.

"I know the energy is dense, but please do not cultivate and try not to absorb the energy into your body. Firstly, because you might not be able to handle it. Secondly, because it may harm your bodies and the ingredients if directly consumed and absorbed have impurities that are meant to be removed through the refining process. And thirdly because you will ruin the ingredients that are very expensive and I need them to produce pills" stated Sarah.

Damian and Milo nodded their heads in affirmation and did as she said as they suppressed the urge to absorb the dense and vitality filled energy in the air around them.

Looking around there were all kinds of powders, plants and pills that were all kinds of different colours and had energy of different elements within them that could only be used efficiently by those with elemental affinities.

One thing that they noticed was that they were all stored in cases that seemed to be made of some sort of jade, but since they were in a special room that protected and suppressed the energy from leaving the resources, the cases didn't need to be closed.

"These jade cases and boxes that you see are a standard issue for us alchemists and pill makers. Even bottles that hold precious medicines are made out of this material as it makes sure that the energy within the resources along with the medicinal properties don't wear away. Although it does slow down the wearing down of the pills and medicine, there is no way to completely stop it or reverse it, so it is best to consume pill and medicine soon after they are acquired" informed them Sarah.

Damian and Milo were amazed by everything that Sarah was showing them and Damian couldn't help but ask, "What is the name of that jade material?".

"It doesn't really have a name, but if you have ever killed a beast or seen a beast core, the material is the same or similar. It is the only material that we know of that can store energy and if used properly, can be used to store or stop energy from leaving within. There are beast cores that are formed within a beast, but there are also energy cores that can be mined and found. Energy cores are usually formed in areas that have dense energy and take long times to form as they slowly store more and more energy"

"Thanks for the information mother, you really know so much" thanked Damian who was shocked by how knowledgeable his mother was.

She had never shown her power or knowledge to him when he was growing up and Damian didn't know how capable she was, but he was always told that she was talented and powerful.

Sarah smiled at her son's shock and said, "Unfortunately I cannot transfer the knowledge to you like you did to me, but I am sure that you will soon surpass me".

"Even if I do, you are still my mother and this fatty is still my bro. I will also make sure to stay stronger than him" said Damian while poking Milo and teasing him.

"Hey, you aren't stronger than me. You are just lucky that I don't want to use my full power" refuted Milo as he clenched his fist.

Although it was a small argument and they weren't actually angry, Sarah suddenly snapped and scolded them before they began to fight.

"We need to quickly get the resources we need and leave. If you behave like this, next time I won't let you two in here"

Milo and Damian lowered their heads and became quiet, while Sarah picked out a few things that she thought would be useful, then quickly led them out and closed the door to her storage room.

They could both sense quite a large amount of energy coming from whatever Sarah had brought out with her, but she had closed the cases and bottles before they could see what it was.

After they all sat down, Damian suddenly asked excitedly, "So what are they?", no longer able to suppress his curiosity.

Sarah smiled and began by placing one jade bottle and one jade case in front of both Milo and Damian.

"Before you open them, I will tell you what they are and how you use them" stated Sarah before Milo and Damian, who were eager to open them, could do so.

Milo was shocked by Sarah giving him the same amount as Damian and although she didn't hug him like she did Damian, she had treated him just like she treated her son and better than anyone else had treated him.

"Each of you have a jade bottle that has 3 pills inside. Damian, yours are made using resources that have lots of fire energy, while yours are made of attributeless energy. These pills can be used to aid your Internal Cultivation, but can also be used to temper your bodies, which I would recommend. External Cultivation requires much more resources as breathing techniques and eating large amounts of food, is slower than absorbing energy into the body through the pores. While in the case, there is a special medical mixture" stated Sarah before pausing.

Damian and Milo were both happy with the pills they received as they knew how valuable they were, but seeing her pause her explanation, they both exclaimed, "What is it?!".
