The king was still processing everything that had happened and was shocked by it, but he had no choice but to do what the advisors told him to even if he had a different opinion on the matter, so decided not to think too much about it.

Instead, it was a good opportunity for him to break away from the advisors and increase the influence and power of the Gobe Country, through forming an alliance with Elizabeth or the Graham Family.

If that was to happen, he would be able to dominate the advisors and they would be the one's submitting to him, and he would finally be able to surpass the Mortal Cultivation Level. It would also make the position of the king that he was in much more valuable and was the best outcome for him.

The king didn't see the advisors as family, despite the distant blood relation, and just like in most other large families, most were only out for their own gain and would be able to tell between friend and foe within their own family.

Returning to the royal courtroom, he hadn't been gone for long and his family were still in awe of Elizabeth while she sat in the corner of the courtroom quietly, anxiously awaiting to king's return.

She had always been treated likely royalty and nobody had dared to look at her twice, despite her beauty drawing in the attention of everybody around her and she had never had to worry about anything with the protection and help of her father.

However at that current moment, she was still acting confident and as though she was safe, but inside she was scared and worried, not knowing what would happen next.

"Mistress, how were you able to control those guards?" asked Bernard quietly, still unable to get past the fact that she was able to previously completely control the situation merely with her words.

"Bernard, I am not sure myself. When we get back or when we have the chance we can experiment with it and explore what it could possibly be, but now is not the right time" answered Elizabeth, equally as quiet so that the royal family that were quite far away couldn't hear.

After 30 minutes, which went to show how large the royal palace was and how long it took for the king to reach his royal chambers and the Underground Lair, the king finally returned and the royal family and Elizabeth waited for him the whole time.

The king was glad that he had decided to respect Elizabeth just based on her beauty and the fact that she had been able to make it to them, but he knew that he still had to be more careful with her as he didn't know what she was capable of or what she would do if he offended her.

He couldn't sense any energy coming from her body and usually, there would be a powerful physical aura or powerful spiritual aura, depending on whether one was an External Cultivator or an Internal Cultivator.

Even if one was a low level cultivator there would be a weaker aura around them, but he couldn't sense anything from Elizabeth at all, which was similar to how he couldn't sense anything from the advisors.

Becuase of that, the king was scared for his own safety as Elizabeth was either an extremely powerful cultivator, or wasn't a cultivator at all.

Either way, the king couldn't afford to offend her and didn't want to risk it and even if she wasn't a cultivator, her identity and beauty were enough to make her revered as a goddess, especially since she was able to order his guards around and they all obeyed her.

Upon returning the king walked over to Elizabeth and despite being in front of his family, the king bowed to her.

It was a display of respect, but the king was careful not to make it seem that he had submitted to her and didn't bow down too much.

"Lady Elizabeth, I needed to confirm your identity, but after I did, I now realise who you are. I accept your request and you will be treated like a royal until your escort arrives from the Ethien Country after we have sent them the message" stated the king as he led her back to the table that his family was sat at.

"From now on, treat her like you would treat the queen and if any of you offend her, you will be severely punished," said the king to his family as he called for his servants to prepared and bing Elizabeth and Bernard another meal.

The royal family were baffled by what was going on, but they knew that the king was an intelligent man that would only do what benefitted himself and his cultivation most, so they knew that his actions must have a reason.

"You are all excused and can you get the servants to prepare lady Elizabeth and her companion bedrooms that are next to each other" requested the king to his family.

Although he asked them to do something, they had no choice but to obey him and what he asked from them wasn't something difficult as they all left leaving the king, Elizabeth and Bernard at the large dining table that was set in the middle of the royal courtroom.

Bernard was once again shocked by how Elizabeth had managed to take control of the situation, but the treatment they were receiving was to be expected as Bernard knew of the power of the Graham Family.

Elizabeth was calm and collected as she sat beside Bernard and opposite the king, waiting for the food to arrive.

She was hungry and hadn't eaten much or well in a long while, and although she knew her safety wasn't guaranteed, she felt much safer and more comfortable knowing that the king seemingly knew of who she was and was planning to help her.
