The Copy Mage Chapter 121

{Snap out of it you idiot, otherwise, you are going to die here and that will mean that I will also die} screamed Utsusu within Damian's mind.
{You must feel the power of the Soul Spirit through the attack and use the attack from his Soul Spirit as a medium to invading his body and copying his Soul Spirit. Do not attempt to copy the Soul Spirit permanently as you won't be able to do so, and it won't be much use to you anyway. Instead, upon copying it, activate the Soul Spirit straight away, without trying to subdue it, which will allow you to use the Soul Spirit for a few minutes. In that time if you cannot subdue the poison using the Soul Spirit that you copied, you will die. I shouldn't have taught you this method to copy Soul Spirits until your cultivation level was higher, but this is a life or death situation, so you mustn't fail} instructed Utsusu within his mind.
Damian's willpower was abnormally strong, but even with his willpower, the gut-wrenching pain that was caused by the assassin's poison was too overwhelming.
Clenching his fists, Damian's mind that wanted to survive was fighting with his body that was screaming and experiencing immense pain. With the backlash, fatigue, damage and the pain that his body had and was experiencing all at once, it wasn't looking good for Damian.
Just as he felt that his body was on death's door, images of his mother, his friends, those that had helped and supported him in the academy and everything that he wanted to accomplish appeared within his mind.
[I cannot die] roared Damian within his mind as he activated his Copy Book Soul Spirit, withdrawing the Copy Book from his dantian.
Just as Utsusu had described, he needed to feel the attack of the Soul Spirit and use it as a bridge to the original Soul Spirit, allowing him to copy it and temporarily be able to use it.

But now that the assassin was moving further away from him, it would be much more difficult to do so, as the further the person that Damian wanted to copy their Soul Spirit, the harder it would be to do so.
However giving up wasn't an option for Damian as if he gave up, then it was all over. All his dreams, ambitions and everything that he had gained in his second life would be lost, and it also wasn't guaranteed that he would have a third life.
With the poison that was spreading around his body, Damian followed the will of the Copy Book that was within his hands and followed his instincts that were the only thing that could save him.
His mind was overwhelmed with pain and all he had managed to do was clutch onto the instinct and innate feeling that he had when he held the copy book.
Damian was lucky that the spirit of his Soul Spirit had been awakened and it was Utsusu that was causing the innate feeling and guiding Damian, as otherwise in the state that he was in, he would have had no chance.
Following the path that Utsusu had lay out for Damian, Damian found that it was easier than he had expected and all it required was for him to provide his changeable energy to his copy book and to aim to swallow the effects of the attack.
Usually, it would require Damian to copy it upon impact, but luckily it was a poison attack that had lasting effects and made it so that Damian could copy it after he had been attacked by it.
After his changeable energy and the ability of his copy book duplicated the capability of the Soul Spirit, that he was being or had been attacked by, Damian had to instantly activate it in order to temporarily copy it.

If he didn't immediately activate it after copying it, it would mean that he would be attempting to subdue it to permanently copy the Soul Spirit, which would require him to break down the will of the Soul Spirit.
Doing exactly that, Damian felt an unusual entity enter his dantian beside the red and golden flame. It was a small green ball of fog that appeared and it was exactly like the fog that the assassin used to poison him.
Following what Utsusu had told him, Damian activated the Soul Spirit that he had copied straight away, so that he wouldn't have to permanently copy it, which would be impossible for him to do in the state that he was in.
He had succeeded in temporarily copying a Soul Spirit for the first time, but his body was being strained every second that he used the Soul Spirit that his body wasn't accustomed to and couldn't handle.
In the current state that he was in, he couldn't handle that strain for long and had to figure out how to suppress, then dispel the poison in his body, before his body collapsed and he died.
Damian was a survivor and he was unwilling to die in such a shameful way and he still had so much that he wanted to accomplish.
Even if he had no idea how to use the Poison Soul Spirit that he had temporarily copied from the assassin, he had become quite skilled in the use of energies and after training in the use of both Shadow Energy and Fire Energy, he had become very skilled in doing so.
He felt that he had control of the green poisonous fog in his dantian and found that in the same way as when he produced and controlled flames, he could control it and create more of it as long as he provided it energy.
With that, he could control all the poison that had spread around his body and corroded him internally, so all that was left was for him to remove it from his body through his pores.
However, the amount of focus and energy it required to do so was incredible, and it would be very hard for Damian to be able to do so in the current state he was in, without pushing his body and mind past its limits.
But that was exactly what he was good at.

Bright Battle Story: Tactics Heart
This is Bright Battle Academy. It is not a place where your hand will be held or your failings compensated for. It is not a place for the weak, or the subversive, or the conspicuously diverse. This is Bright Battle Academy, where champions are forged and legends begin. Dwarfs? Once they were part of the great alliance. They helped build this very academy. But they were so stubborn, so unyielding, so unwilling to bend themselves to the rules. And so they weakened, and so they declined, and so their empires faded. What few that are left shun the academy. We have no dwarfs here. Rogues? Perhaps a handful in the sprawl, hiding in the shadows, hoarding their merits, hoping to buy a promotion to something remotely useful, ninja or assassin perhaps. But in the academy proper? No. We have no rogues here. And yet despite everything here she stands. Nala Greyward, Dwarf Rogue. Pettiest of thieves. Unpleasantest of surprises. Causer of problems. So she killed an ogre. So nobody knows how she did it. So what. Throw her in with the real prospects, with the elves and the vampires and the fighters and the magic users. MY FAKE DUNGEON
Giant doors suddenly appeared all over the world. Alex knowing the truth, now has to wander beyond the doors to save his world. But he realized he alone wasn't enough so he sought help from the others, of which he called them... Players.. _______ A heads up, I'm sure you'd be able to infer from the synopsis, this is something like a dungeon owner mc but I just like to say that there is no heavy litrpg to this even thought the mc calls them players. No system (except for mc?) and no level up like that. Just mc trying to use people for his own good. If I had to describe this novel in three words it be, guns, despair, and monsters. WARNING: I'm a complete amateur at writing and my English sucks so.. yahh.. I will post these on other sites such as webnovel and scribblehub as well.
