The Copy Mage Chapter 101

After 3 months of continuous training and cultivation, only stopping to rest and recover his energy, Damian had managed to break through into rank 4.
His speed of cultivation and the speed at which he was progressing was incredible as he was on track to becoming an Inner Disciple within a month like his master had hoped.
As his cultivation level increased, it was becoming harder to increase his strength as his body's capacity to absorb, store and wield energy began to lower slightly, but he was still able to continue cultivating at a fast pace.
It was becoming more and more evident to Damian that Utsusu was requiring energy while he cultivated and in his first few ranks of cultivation, Damian was displaying the cultivation speed that one would expect from an E:1 ranked talent.
However, after breaking through into rank 3, it seemed as though Utsusu had no choice but to begin absorbing energy from Damian's body in order to sustain itself, otherwise, Damian wouldn't be able to use any of the abilities of his Soul Spirit that he had copied.
Utsusu had stored quite a large amount of energy within the Copy Book when integrating with Damian, but it was no longer enough and he had to take half of the energy that Damian absorbed in order to sustain the copy book.
Despite that, Damian still had the cultivation talent grade of E:5 and with his great perceptivity and combat prowess, along with his E:1 Maxwell Fire Soul Spirit, he was still an extraordinary cultivator that had great potential. He was also very hardworking and had very strong willpower, which allowed him to train many times more than most cultivators at the same level as him.
Damian knew that he would always be able to cultivate and found that it was more important currently for him to train his own skill when it came to wielding energy through different skills, techniques and during combat.

By training his skills, he would lay down a solid foundation and also make his cultivation in the future easier and faster as his body would have already been pushed past its limits, strengthened and ready to move on to the next level.
Because of that, Damian spent most of his time practising his skills and techniques, and while doing so, would cultivate sometimes while recovering his energy.
Damian would eat all his meals with Milo and would sometimes see his other friends that he shared a residence with, but most of them just like him were busy with their cultivation or other things that they were doing.
Damian didn't really pry or ask about what his friends were doing, but he did notice that Milo's cultivation was on a similar level to his own and Damian was curious as to whether Milo had acquired and learnt any other beast bloodline transformations.
He had made sure to his visit his mother every week for at least an hour, but most of the times that he went to Green House Pill Foundation, his mother was busy and or wasn't available to see him.
Instead of being upset that his mother didn't have time to see him, he was happy that she was busying herself and progressing and with her great talent, she was very capable.
With the knowledge of cultivation levels that surpassed the Mortal Cultivation Level that he was currently on, Damian knew he had to be careful and assumed that most large families or elders would have a cultivation level that surpassed the Mortal Cultivation Level and that he had to be careful around them.
He knew it was his second life, but he didn't know anything else apart from his insatiable desire to succeed and it was as though he was torturing himself by sitting around and wasting time.

After Damian had displayed his power against his 3 challengers for the White Ranked Residence and after becoming the direct disciple of the great elder, nobody dared to challenge him or his friends for the residence he was in, so he didn't have to worry about that as he trained.
Currently, the weapon that Damian was interested in the most was the bow and most of his time was invested in learning it. He had thought about learning how to wield a sword after seeing how incredible Darren was in its use, but he felt comfortable in his fighting power while using his fists and wanted to increase his range and cover all his weaknesses.
Using a bow in the private training room, Damian found that his body was too weak and he struggled to even pull back the bowstring of the bow, that was on the weapon rack to train with.
He used some Internal Energy and streamed it into his arms to strengthen them and display the physical power of an External Cultivator, then managed to draw back the bowstring that was very hard to pull.
There was a target on the wall of the training room that he was in and releasing the bowstring, he aimed the arrow at the centre of the target. Damian was disappointed to see that he had completely missed that large target and hit the wall away from the target.
However he wasn't discouraged and Damian continuously trained in the use of the bow and arrow and by the end of the month, Damian could hit the centre of the target from anywhere in the training room and was confident that within 50 metres, he would be able to hit anything that he could directly hit and could see.
He was yet to train on moving targets or factor in wind and other factors that would affect his aim, which he knew were very important while wielding a bow, but Damian was overall satisfied with his current results after a month.
With his current skill level of using a bow, Damian felt as though he was finally about to move on and moved onto learning the Arrow Beam Skill.

The Flame in the Forge (A Slice of Life Isekai LitRPG)
Thrown into a world he doesn’t recognise, Niall Vendra has to adapt, learn and fight to survive. Physically, emotionally, personally. If Niall wants to save his family, then the man he was needs to transform. Surrounded by Minotaurs, Fae and Magic, Niall will have to reinvent himself as both a warrior and an artisan. Growth won’t be fast and it won’t be easy, but with patience and hard work, Niall can earn the Skills, Abilities and Classes to battle his way to the top. The Flame In The Forge is a LitRPG Isekai/Portal fantasy. You should expect slice of life with conflict and an overarching mystery to be solved. Niall will be both a crafter (primarily, but not exclusively, as a blacksmith) and a fighter. There won’t be a harem. But don't worry, there will be both flames and forges! I should be clear that while this is very much LitRPG, it's story led and I have tried to make it feel believable. So, for example, the first blue box doesn't appear until chapter 6. I hope that the payoff is worth it. Compared to some LitRPGs you may find the pace rather gentle at times. There will be some periods where it feels like Niall is eking out every level and others when, for good reasons, he makes a significant leap. My goal though is to give you a satisfying story, so that dictates when and how Niall's stats and skills change. I can reassure you that I fully intend for Niall to become immensely powerful, but I want you to feel like he has earned every level in a realistic way.
