The Copy Mage Chapter 20

The aura released by Ivan was not an offensive one but an oppressive one, therefore there was no extreme harm to those attempting to get close.
However, if someone were to push past their limits too much, it could have terrible effects on them such as hurting their mind which ultimately could cause paralysis or death and harming their Soul which in the worst cases can cause death or destroy their Soul Spirit.
While Damian was supporting Milo, he could feel his changeable energy seemed to be reacting to Milo's energy and seemed to want to use it, and Milo could feel the same sensation with Damian.
Damian decided he would investigate about it after the will test completed as he trudged forwards and bore the extreme pain.
Damian's veins from his temples and his neck were bulging massively as the strain continued to increase.
He became the centre of attention to everybody, including Ivan as his determination shocked everybody.
Seeing the smaller and seemingly weaker boy support the bigger friend and still manage to head closer to the centre, everyone had a complete change in their opinions of him.
"You can let me down now or you will waste too much energy and you won't be able to catch up to Julia and Matilda," said to him Milo who felt like a burden on his new friend, which he didn't want.
"No, I will help my friend" shouted Damian to encourage himself as he pushed faster towards the centre.
Currently, Cole had reached 15 metres away from the centre, but had fallen to his knees and didn't seem to be able to continue, while Julia and Matilda, who were on par, were both struggling at 20 metres away.
Although it was called a 'Will Test' and was designed to test the will and mental strength of the students, those with stronger Soul Spirits or Soul Spirits suited to bearing pressure, had an advantage.

Next was somebody who Damian didn't pay attention to and didn't catch his eye in the beginning, but was also quite strong and was 25 metres away from the centre, just like Damian and Milo.
[Utsusu I need to continue, I need more strength] screamed Damian within his mind as he felt his legs beginning to give away.
{Your friend you are supporting seems to have a similar type of energy to yours and has an affinity with a type of changeable energy which he can supply you with} suggested Utsusu after a few seconds of thought.
"Milo, can you supply me some energy" blurted out Damian as soon as he heard Utsusu's suggestion.
Milo also felt the undeniable connection that their energies had and seemed to also have his secrets, but seeing their similarity in energy and friendship, he was willing to provide him energy.
Milo, with his body already being semi-carried by Damian, was already in contact with him and streamed his energy out of his body and into Damian's body.
Damian felt the rush of energy and Milo, who was at a higher cultivation level than him, had streamed a lot of weird energy into his body that seemed to be swallowed up by Damian's changeable energy and fuelled him massively.
Damian's changeable energy continued to suck energy out of Milo, until he was sucked dry and left unconsciousness.
"Fatty" exclaimed Damian in worry seeing his friend lose consciousness.
{Calm down idiot, he provided you all his energy and trusted you, so you cannot let him down} said Utsusu encouragingly.
Anyone watching would see Damian have a massive boost in power and the thin layer of red flames around him, due to Flame Reinforcement, became brighter and slightly thicker as Milo lost consciousness.
Damian had a surge in power and was struggling to keep it under control, but there seemed to be a mysterious force circulating it through his body and helping him suppress it.

{I am supporting you as much as I can from within the mindscape, but you should win this competition quickly before you deplete your energy and Milo's body gains consciousness as he won't be able to bear the pressure without any energy} stated Utsusu.
Seeing Cole in the distance, Damian set him as the target as he hung Milo's unconscious body over his back and carried him over his back.
Flames coated Damian's feet as he attempted to test out a new skill.
He had, had the idea since he had seen his mother with flames under her feet and adapted the idea to a skill that will allow him to burst forwards off his feet.
Fire Burst.
{This kid really is too talented to be in such a small and weak country and with me, we will become even stronger} mumbled Utsusu to himself within the mindscape, observing how easily Damian was creating and using fundamental skills that took a long time to learn and master.
Damian with Milo on his back, burst off his feet towards the centre.
In one leap, Damian covered 5 metres towards the centre, which could have been much more if there was no pressure and wasn't carrying Milo.
Instantly he felt the pressure almost double, and carrying Milo was taking its toll on him massively.
The single burst used quite a lot of energy and as a low level cultivator, Damian's energy reserves were not that large.
The crowd went wild seeing Damian burst closer towards the centre while carrying Milo and had also shocked Ivan and all those in the class.
Julia and Matilda seeing Damian carrying Milo and still be on par with them were baffled by his power and determination, but what shocked them, even more, was that he kept on moving.
"I must bring the victory for me, Milo and my mother" exclaimed Damian as he continued forth bearing all the pressure for him and Milo.
Cole seeing the comparingly small kid have so much determination and carry someone at the same time, also became fired up and seemed to have a boost in power.
"Kid you really are amazing and I won't lose to you" roared the previously calm Cole, who seemed to become a wild beast.
Standing up from him previously being on his knees, Cole looked at Damian as a competitor.
"Oi kid if you can beat me I will be your friend," stated Cole with eyes burning with battle intent.
"I will beat you anyway" replied Damian as he continued forth with his teeth clenched.
Ivan in his beast form stood there with an entertained expression as the show played before him.
