The Copy Mage Chapter 14

Grabbing Damian's hand, she dragged him around the corner to where the shrieking sounds were loudest.
Turning the corner he saw a long line of cages with all kinds of different enormous flying beasts.
Damian almost screamed in surprise and instantly jumped back in shock.
"What the hell are these," he screamed.
"These are flying beasts and we will use one of them as a flying beast ride to cover the distance to Aria Akegria Academy which is 100 miles, which we can't cover in any other way in a short amount of time and should be able to cover it within a day," she stated to him.
Sarah seemed completely unfazed by the large beasts who were making loud screaming noises.
"We will ride him" she decided, pointing at the largest beast that was screaming the most.
"Are you sure" aked her the man.
It was a large beast with purple feathers.
It seemed to be the biggest and was the one making the most noise, intimidating Damian the most.
"Mother, are you sure" asked the frightened Damian who stood behind her.
"Don't worry son, I know what I am doing" she reassured while chuckling at her son who battled 5 men by himself but was now shaking in fear behind her.
"It's your choice, but if the beast escapes from your control and returns to another one of our stations you are not eligible for a refund," warned the man as he unlocked the cage.
As soon as the cage was unlocked the flying beast knew that it had a tracker and would inevitably return to be a flying beast ride, so charged at Sarah with malicious intentions.
As Damian saw this he was going to jump in front to protect his mother, but at his strength LVL, he was still too slow.

Sarah's body burst into flames as she glared at the flying beast and released her powerful aura.
"Sit" she ordered sternly as she emitted her aura through her voice.
The flying beast instantly sat down and went from its aggressive nature to a child-like playful nature.
"Let's go," she said nonchalantly as though nothing happened and retracted her aura.
Both Damian and the man realised just how powerful Sarah was.
"Amazing" blurted out Damian in awe as he watched the giant flying beast follow his mother around respectfully.
Sarah turned around and gave Damian a wink with a cheeky smile as she signalled for him to catch up.
Sarah seemed to know how Beast rides worked and continued down the long corridor full of beasts in cages, followed by Damian, the beast keeper and the purple flying beast who was glaring at them.
As they reached the end of the corridor, there was a large metal gate that the man opened, which led them to an open area and an exit.
"Sit here and you will take us to our destination" ordered Sarah while glaring straight into the beast's eyes.
It seemed to be intelligent and sensed that Sarah was not one to be messed with and done as she ordered.
"Get on" she said to Damian with a warm smile as she jumped onto the large purple flying beasts back with their bags.
Damian reluctantly walked towards the beast and seeing his mother on its back and giving him a reassuring smile, he climbed up onto the beasts back by pulling on its feathers.
He received a furious expression from the beast who was having his feathers pulled on, but jumped and hid behind his mother's back.
"Hold on to me as tight as you can" warned his mother.

"Fly east" ordered Sarah as she slapped the flying beast's back, signalling for it to fly.
The beast withdrew its large purple wings and flapped them, causing strong winds behind it which lifted all the dust.
The beast keeper stood back and waved them off as the flying beast lifted off its feet.
Rapidly flapping its large wings with incredible strength, they began to fly higher and higher into the air, as they head towards the east.
Meanwhile Damian was shaking in fear and had a slight fear of heights, as he tightly gripped his mother's clothing.
"Don't worry Damian, it is safe and the ride will get smoother after we reach a high enough level" reassured his mother.
As the flying beast flew higher and higher it finally reached an altitude above the clouds, with strong winds, and stopped flapping its wings.
It instead stretched out its wings and glided through the air towards the east.
Sarah was calm and unfazed by such heights and speed, meanwhile, Damian was quivering with fear as the wind smacked against his face.
"Mother how long until we reach Akegria academy" he shouted as the wind distorted his voice.
"At this speed we should be able to cover the 100 miles in less than two hours" estimated his mother seeing the speed they were travelling at.
"Two hours of torture" he mumbled.
[Utsusu I might as well talk to you and I have been always meaning to ask you what is your origin] he asked within his mind.
{Damian I advise you not to ask questions you don't want to hear the answer to, or won't be able to understand, and you should focus on yourself currently and focus on getting the blood of other people with powers in the academy and LVL UP as fast as you can as. This world is infinitely larger than what you believe} advised Utsusu, completely avoiding his question.
Utsusu's answer just made him even more curious and he also felt that there was so much he didn't know and understand, but couldn't find the answers and decided to focus on his own strength and forget about things he wasn't ready for.
Remembering where he was, he looked down to see scarce clouds and building that looked as small as dots from the height he was at.
BLURGH
Damian began to vomit wildly as his fear of heights overwhelmed him, and after vomiting everything he had eaten within the day he lost consciousness, because of his newfound fear.
Seeing her son lose consciousness Sarah placed him on her lap to secure him so he didn't fall, and urged the flying beast ride to speed up.
