Earth's Alpha Prime Chapter 13

But when I used the leap to land directly on the ground in front of the wolf, the impact I felt on my body was high, and that caused me some internal damage. Blood started trickling from the side of my lips.
I swiped away the blood and added 2 Stats to my Strength Attribute and 3 Stats to my Vitality.
[Strength: 16 ➝ 18]
[Vitality: 11 ➝ 14]
[Health: 83/110 ➝ 113/140]
[Undistributed Stats: 5 ➝ 0]
I felt a surge of warmth in my body, along with an increase in my muscle power as my muscles squirmed.
The wolves howled at the death of their kin, and all of them pounced towards me at the same time.
I swung the Rusty Short Sword in an arc while adding on top of the Lv.14 and the Aura around the Sword extended by 2 meters and sliced two Lv.9 Grey Wolves and the 3rd Lv.9 Grey Wolf was sent flying as a deep cut formed on its back, but it didn't die immediately.

Even with my increased Strength Attribute, I wasn't able to slice off the third Grey Wolf in a row, and my attack didn't even reach the 4th Gray Wolf of the 5 Grey Wolves that chased me.
The fourth Lv.9 Grey wolf aimed for my neck. Even with my temporarily boosted Agility Attribute, I couldn't wholly dodge. I could only defend my neck by raising my left arm shoulder.
The bite was so strong that I heard some cracks in my shoulder bone and some of my blood entered its mouth, and the blood burned its skin as if it was an acid, and the wolf howled painfully after letting go of my shoulder.

If not for my bones that got denser and stronger with my high Endurance Attribute, my hand would have been bitten off by the Lv.9 Grey Wolf.
But the pain I felt was less compared to when I merged with Skill, and with the addition of 24% Physical pain Resistance, the pain was even less than what it should have been.
My Skill didn't level up as the amount of pain should be higher than what I have experienced to reach Lv.24.
While the fourth Lv.9 Grey Wolf was still howling in pain, another thunderous howl sounded in the direction of the fight between Tier-2 monsters.
I ignored the Tier-2 Wolf's angry howl and attacked the Lv.9 Grey Wolf by activating the ; I killed it in a single strike.

[Congratulations! You have reached Lv.6]
[5 Undistributed Stats available]
Every time I activated the , I only used it for a second to conserve my Spirit Energy. Once I levelled up, I immediately added 2 Stats to Strength Attribute and the remaining 3 Stats to Vitality Attribute.
[Strength: 18 ➝ 20]
[Congratulations! You obtained the Skill, (Uncommon) by reaching 20 Stats in Strength Attribute.]
[Vitality: 14 ➝ 17]

[Undistributed Stats: 5 ➝ 0]
While I was getting used to the changes that occurred from the increase of Strength and Vitality Attributes, the Lv.9 Grey Wolf that got wounded from my previous attack started to escape towards the Dire Wind Wolf.
I quickly adjusted and rushed towards the wounded Lv.9 Grey Wolf. While moving, I looked towards the fight that was ongoing between the two Tier-2 monsters. Even while I added Stats to my attributes, I kept an eye on the fight that happened 100 meters away.

With the addition of 10 Dire Wolves to the Dire Wind Wolf, they were able to hold out against the Bloodthirsty Earth Bear without any losses. Still, after they heard the howl from the last wolf I killed, the Tier-2 Wolf got aggressive and tried to rush towards me.
But with the continuous attacks of the Bloodthirsty Earth Bear, it wasn't able to approach me immediately. When it saw the wounded Lv.9 Dire Wolf running towards it, the Tier-2 Wolf rushed towards me as it ignored the attacks from the Tier-2 Bear.
A few injuries appeared on its chalk wite fur from the attacks, but they were not anything major, as it didn't slow down while dashing towards me.
I intended to kill the wounded Lv.9 Grey Wolf before it reached the Dire Wind Wolf and readied myself for the deadliest attack that I could bring out.
I exerted my full capacity of and leapt towards it at a speed of 90 meters per second while activating .
A few cracks appeared on the ground from where I leapt.
In that instant, the Dire Wind Wolf, the wounded Lv.9 Grey Wolf, and I were in a straight line. At the speed at which I moved, it almost looked like I was flying, and at such speed, the Grey Wolf wasn't even able to resist and died by getting sliced into two pieces.
But the momentum of my body didn't slow down and moved towards the Tier-2 Wolf. It was shocked by my sudden burst of speed and instinctively defended itself with a transparent shield made of wind.
My attack broke through the transparent barrier with the utmost difficulty. Still, I was only able to deal with a minor wound on its paw.
I fell on the ground while spurting out a lot of blood because of moving at such high speeds. The landing impact took a lot of toll on my body and caused internal injuries.
The Dire Wind Wolf got enraged even more for being wounded by a mere Tier-1 human and swung its claw at my chest with a lot of strength.
While getting myself up with difficulty, I defended with the that had over it and was able to stop the deadly claws from reaching me. Still, just from the raw power behind its attack, I was sent flying through a tree and crashed into the second tree. Many cracks appeared on the tree trunk, and my was sent flying far away.
My body was completely covered in blood and was on the verge of death. A lot of injuries and internal organs were heavily damaged, along with many broken ribs and fractures.
I wasn't able to move in that body condition. The Grey Wolves were able to catch up to the Dire Wind Wolf, and all the wolves howled in anger after looking at the dead bodies of their kin.
All the Wolves and Dire Wind Wolf started to approach me while letting out angry growls as if they couldn't wait to tear me apart from limb to limb.
While coughing up my blood, I started to laugh coldly in a low voice and looked in the eyes of the Tier-2 Wolf and without even caring if it could understand my words, I said with difficulty, "You.....already....lost the chance.....to kill me."

A Fate Shaped by Magick
This fiction was (and is) published on fanfiction dot net under the same title; though as I slowly transfer it to here, I am editing and smoothing it. This story takes place in the Elder Scrolls (TES) Universe mostly ending up in Morrowind. This is a slice of life meant to answer the questions of how (in the TES universe) do mages study and learn, and exploring some of the in-game differences between TES 2 and 3. This book has minimal spoilers for the Morrowind main quest and does not fully explore it. If you think that giant insects would make cool pets - if you like the idea of exploring magic NOT intended simply as killing something better, faster or more gore-ridden, then come on in and enjoy.

Fire and Shadows. Legend of the breaker. (Hiatus until ??)
Traditions lost, books burned, ancient knowledge forever spurned. It began with fire, the great Sirionean, all dominating desert creating pyre. And it ended thusly just aswell, t'was the great Empire's deathknell. The crackling of the burning books, dangling corpses on rusty hooks. The yellow streets of Heabury proper, colored red with human copper. -? S.V, Scholar of Dawn.' -- Author note: Hi, SeV here. I'm not a fan of writing my entire story premise in the synopsis. For that, read the prologue and chapter 1. Suffice it to say that I think it's a cool idea and I already have a few things planned and a world sort of formed in my mind. I like Epic fantasy, lightnovels with OP MCs, Litrpg, sci-fi, any many other things. This story is written for myself, so it may include all sorts of diffent elements and character interactions and even experimental things that I'm trying out as a writer in order to improve. My intention with this is to pretty much post as I write, and acquire feedback from you folks in the process. I of course hope you like my story, but feel free to criticize anything since this is a project to improve myself. Even if it isn't strictly criticism, any feedback positive or negative is welcome since I am interested in what other people think of my writing style and what I can improve on. Since it's growing generically I'll be interested in your thoughts and speculations on future events and any suggestions moving forward will be taken into consideration. Hope you enjoy my stuff. - SeV
