Doomsday: I Obtained A Fallen Angel Pet At The Start Of The Game Chapter 22

Inside the house.
Seeing that Chris had taken the initiative to surrender, Stark laughed.
"Not bad, not bad, what nice words!
"The moment you see your teammate being killed, you immediately offer up all your crystals and tell me that you didn't harm me, so it's better not to fight.
"But if I wasn't so strong, would you still do this?
"You'd probably help him kill me just now and take my crystals for yourself!"
Stark looked at Chris and smiled coldly.
When she looked at Stark, she knew that he didn't have any intention of letting her go.
"So, sir, you're not going to let me go?"
Chris's expression became gloomy, and her hands, which were painted with red nail polish, silently clenched as she said in a low voice, "Then... don't blame me for being ruthless!"
As her voice fell, Chris's eyes darkened, and she immediately took action.
In the blink of an eye, she extended her right hand, and a surge of raging flames instantly gushed towards Stark.
This was her unique ability, Ason!
Just like Mycroft, it was also an ability that was activated in extreme despair.
Her hands were able to spurt out large amounts of flames, and the temperature was over 800 degrees. She could also absorb the flames to treat her injuries.
She felt that the reason Stark was able to kill Coyote and Wild Wolf and heavily injure Mycroft was because of his shining longsword and his powerful close combat ability.
Her special ability was Arson, so as long as she kept a distance from Stark, she could still fight.
However, in the face of absolute power, all plots and tricks were useless.
Just as Chris released a raging flame with one hand and was about to dodge to the back to keep a distance from Stark, in just a flash, Stark instantly arrived in front of Chris and kicked her away.

"Ah!"
With a scream, Chris also fell to the ground.
Unlike Mycroft, she did not have Steel Skin to protect her body. Other than her ability to set fire, she was just an ordinary woman. This fall was enough to make her taste death. She lay on the ground and coughed several times. Her wavy hair was disheveled, and she could no longer stand up.
Stark walked step by step towards Mycroft, getting ready to kill him first.
At this moment, a strange sound suddenly rang out from a room beside him.
"Hmm? There's someone else here?"
Stark narrowed his eyes.
As a cautious person, he naturally wanted to find out the source of the sound.
He walked towards the door from where the sound came from.
When he got to the door, he realized that it was locked from the outside with chains.
A trace of doubt appeared in Stark's heart. With a slash of his sword, the chain was cut apart.
He saw the figure of a young girl crouching in the corner of the room. Her two small hands were nervously hugging her calves. With her body curled, she raised her eyes.
That pair of grape-like eyes were filled with fear at this moment.
"..."
Stark froze.
Previously, he had guessed that the person in the room was probably a bandit who had hidden himself and was prepared to stab him from behind.
It could also be a rat that was eating leftovers.
However, he had never expected that the person inside the room would be a nervous girl. She was so afraid that her body was trembling.
"What's wrong with you?"
Although he could tell that the girl was not a threat, Stark still maintained his usual caution and asked.
"I... I..."

The girl's eyes were filled with worry and fear.
In fact, the moment Susanna saw Stark open the door, she wanted to tell him that her family had been killed by the bandits outside. She was terrified and hoped that he could save her.
But when Stark killed those people, she had seen it through a crack in the door. (The door was locked with a chain. It was not shut properly.)
Although she really wanted to ask Stark for help, she was also worried that he would be no different from the bandits outside.
What if he was a scoundrel who had discovered her and was about to rape her?
With this thought in mind, she became more and more nervous. In the end, she accidentally touched the corner of the table behind her, which made a noise and attracted Stark over.
At this time, Stark noticed the panic on the girl's face and realized that he might have scared her.
From this reaction... the girl should really be an ordinary girl. She was not a threat.
After thinking through everything... Stark asked the girl in the corner, "Little girl, this used to be your home. Your parents were killed by the bandits outside, right?"
Hearing that, the girl nodded gently.
"What's your name?" Stark asked again.
"Susanna."
Susanna spoke softly. After two sentences, it was obvious that she had accepted Stark and was no longer so afraid.
"My name is Stark. Since that's the case, come out with me. I'll bring you out of here."
Stark tried to speak to Susanna.
Although he was cold, he was not the kind of person who would ignore a girl who did not even have a weapon.
Finally, Susanna nodded slightly.
"Then, come with me.
"But let me remind you. When you go out, it's best to be mentally prepared because you might see a lot of blood and dead people."
Stark reminded Susanna.
"Okay."
Susanna nodded.
Then she got up from the ground, barefoot, and followed Stark step by step into the living room.

Forced Development (What does it truly mean to live a fulfilling life?)
To get things started I would like to admit that this story does not bring much new to the table when it comes to the over-saturated Litrpg genre in terms of things like mechanics and power systems. Then what exactly am I trying to bring to the table with this work? A nice slow-paced novel about people maturing and growing older think of it as the re: zero or jobless reincarnation of Litrpgs. A story that tries to take into consideration how a worldwide system would affect the economics and culture of a world. A story that is much more character-focused than the typical heavy progression-focused novels this genre is known for. The RPG system, like any good power system, is there to actually explore the themes of the story and not just as a plot device for characters to get stronger. This is a story where we will see the growth of the Mc from being a baby to when he dies of old age. With plenty of heart-racing actions and intriguing plot developments along the way. Exploring themes like; What does it mean to improve at something and what does it mean to mature as a person? How does magic, the constant threat of monsters and people so much stronger than the average joe that they can destroy countries affect one's culture both on the micro and the macro scale? How people are affected by the culture in general? Generational trauma Nature vs Nurture Talent vs hard work What is morality, society, and people's opinions on both? What does it mean to be human and what does it mean to be alive in the context of a world with multiple sapient species vastly different from one another in basic biology? All these questions are going to be explored from multiple angles using the system as a catalyst for those discussions. So if any of does questions sound interesting to you what are you waiting for, I'm sure you are going to love this story. PS - Chapter come out every Friday at about the same time.

Jodha's Jalal (The Mughal Saga I)
"Mark my words, Champavati, Queen of Amber, your daughter, Princess Jodha will be wed off to the Mughal household!"A fortune teller had warned Queen of Amber, about her daughter's marriage to the Mughal; but being a Rajput Queen she knew how much hatred they held towards the Mughals and so she tried to sweep the thought out of her mind. But who can erase what is already written! Destiny created man and Jodha's destiny was attached to the Mughal Empire. This is the story of Princess Jodha of Amber and her husband, the Emperor of Hindustan, Jalal-uddin Muhammad Akbar.~A LITTLE BACKDROP TO THE HISTORICAL ACCURACY OF THE STORY:*This story is fictional. Emperor Akbar did rule India from 1556 to 1605 but he did never marry a woman named Jodha. His first Rajput wife and mother of his heir was Harkha Bai from Amber. In eighteenth century, a British official messed her name up when he first mentioned her as Jodha and then the name became even more popular because of mainstream media. This story does not intend to hurt any religious sentiments, it uses the name Jodha however because common people today know of Emperor Akbar's chief Rajput wife as Jodha Bai*Highest Ranking#1 in Jodha - August 6, '21#1 in Akbar - October 16, '21#1 in 16th - October 16, '21#1 in Jalal - November 14, '21#1 in Mughal - November 14, '21#2 in India - November 14, '21#1 in Princess - December 17, '21#1 in Historical Fiction - December 22, '21#4 in Century - January 5, '22#1 in Empress - May 17, '22
