Gavin was startled when she felt Brione's arms snaking on his shoulders from behind.

"You look so serious having that eye contact with that bird, darling. What's going on, huh? Is there a problem?" Brione whispered in his ear. She noticed that Gavin seemed to be talking alone with a small bird perched on the table.

Gavin looked at the small bird and quietly dismissed it. The bird only relayed some important reports about the new happenings at Mirage and as usual, whenever Gavin recalled some of his memories, he would type it.

Gavin smiled. He turned to look at Brione and replied, "nothing much, Sweetheart. Just that father called a while ago and I feel so bad that he has a lot of things in his hands right now. I only hope I can be with him and help him out soon with royal duties at the palace. I heard how weary his voice was. He sounded so tired."

Brione moved and sat on his lap, encircling her arms on Gavin's neck. She unwrapped an arm just so she could gently caress his cheeks with the back of her hand.

"Yeah. But you still have a lot of things to solve here as well. Uncle Damiel also called me, reminding me about your schedule with the psychiatrist he is recommending to help you regain your memories. Do you want me to accompany you? Weird though, uncle Damiel did not ask me if I wanted to come. I've been waiting for him to ask but maybe he wants more time alone with you?"

"Hmm, no need to come. I can handle it. Besides, I bet you will have a very busy day, settling down in the company. Get the people you need. You can facilitate my team anytime you want together with Mitch and Berry, Sweetheart." Gavin said, earning him a smooch on the cheek from Brione.

"Alright. I will take care of the company you gifted me so well. I'm honestly excited. I want to make some changes. I will coordinate with the team you assigned to help me out. I will go now darling, Kevin is already waiting. Oh yeah, where are you going today?" Brione asked.

"I will meet up with Xander and the people who can help me in the investigation, sweetheart. I will pick you up later since we will have dinner with Noah and Luo," Gavin said before he stood up to walk Brione out to the car where Kevin was already waiting. He was holding her hand and kissing its knuckles, making Brione giggle. Her husband was pampering her to no extent that she felt so blessed and very blissful every time she was with him.

She stopped when they were in front of the car. Brione turned to Gavin, pecking him on the lips. She commented, "Don't miss me too much," before she went inside the car. Gavin chuckled and watched the car leave the villa.

Afterwards, Gavin prepared to meet Xander into a private restaurant where he would also see Raine, one very important leader of one of the clans at Mirage. There were only three of them in the room. Xander introduced him to Raine, who according to Xander, he already knew way before as well.

"Long time no see!" The woman, Raine, greeted him enthusiastically. She was a very approachable person and someone who was easy to get along with.

"I'm sorry, I'm unable to recognize you still," Gavin apologized.

The woman gave him a wink before saying "You lost your memory but I heard it's coming back soon. Xander already discussed things with me in advance, saving us the time and trouble so I basically got the gasp of everything, Gavin. I'm just happy you're back. I honestly knew you were alive since we hadn't received an appointment for a new Historian yet when you were gone. Good thing it's still you.

Also, as Xander mentioned, the animals in contact with you are not willing to help you locate your twin brother since his matter had no involvement with the Mirage. Lucky for you, I like you so I will help you out locate your brother as soon as I can. I'm honestly very busy taking care of the underworld but I think I can manage to insert this agenda in my schedule. Give me just weeks and I will deliver him to you soon.

"That fast?" Gavin's eyes widened in shock. He heard about the power of the Mirage underworld but he didn't expect that things would be a lot easier if he only asked them for help like this. Xander said he was someone important too since he would be playing a big part in history so leaders would definitely help him out once he was in need. He only needed to ask the right people like Raine.

"Do I need to delay? The faster the better right?" Raine mumbled at him with raised eyebrows.

Xander laughed and said, "it's a good thing that Raine is available to help us out, making things easier for us. She hates to delay so she will locate Cedric as fast as she can. She had all the means and they are not ordinary people. You will be enlightened very soon, Gavin, once your memory returns. After all, you will write the great History of Mirage so this is not something new…"

"I really appreciate this. As his twin, I can feel Cedric is alive. My father has been suffering enough already in losing me and now, him. I want us all reunited soon." Gavin whispered to which Xander held his shoulders, tapping them gently.

"Don't worry, we will find him for sure. How about the investigation on the other guy responsible for all the chaos before?" Raine asked.

"There's been good feedback. I will discuss things with Luo and Noah about it later. They are tracing him. Hopefully, we can locate his whereabouts soon," Gavin informed.

"That's good then. We really hope that things work out for you soon Gavin. We will be at your back anytime. Just don't hesitate to ask for our help…" Raine answered with a reassuring smile and Gavin could not thank her enough in advance.
