At Derhan Palace, Country B

Lucas looked at the progress of the report and sighed.

"Are you sure this is the right place they are keeping Oliver hostage?" Lucas asked Will without taking his eyes off the photos and videos of the place.

"Yes, Your Majesty. I think the Prime Minister already knows about it so he might stop making things difficult for the cabinet and the royal family. He must have known that we are helping rescue his son so he should stop what he is doing right now."

"Can we pull out Oliver safely?" Lucas asked.

"Yes, your Majesty. I had called the head of our security team and discussed some plans we came up with to rescue Oliver. We will carry out the plans once we have your permission. We plan to move the Prime Minister's family to a safe house till everything is clear and we have eliminated the people responsible for everything.

It will be a complex and well-rounded operation because we also need the Prime Minister to cooperate with us regarding this matter. After all, he was the person directly involved with the people who were blackmailing him."

"Alright, let's discuss the plan thoroughly. I want the elite team to undertake this rescue operation Will. Let's finish this issue related to the Prime Minister soon and focus on locating Duncan next. I don't want any danger befalling my sons anymore."

Then Lucas looked at Sean and asked, "What about Cedric? Any luck or progress in finding him?"

Sean sighed and said, "None so far Your Majesty. We are still searching and we won't stop till we find him…"

Another deep sigh came from Lucas as he whispered, "I know he is alive somewhere Sean. I can feel it. I need to contact Gavin and check up on him and Brione. I also need to ask if there's any news from his end."

Lucas soon dismissed the father and son before he comfortably rested his back on the chair and put his head on the headrest as he stared at the ceiling blankly, massaging his nape.

"Cecilia… Please help me find our son. I can't lose Cedric too. You sacrificed a lot to save him. I must find our son Cecilia," Lucas helplessly whispered. He felt a heavy burden in his chest which he knew would keep hurting him unless he found his lost son and resolved everything...

He took his mobile phone and dialed Gavin's number.

"Hello father," Gavin quickly answered from the other line.

"Hello, son. How are you doing? And how is Brione?"

"We are doing good, father. How are you? Don't spoil your health by worrying too much about us. I have everything under control here. I am also monitoring the situation over there with the help of Will so I know everything that has been happening.

Noah and Luo are working hard to help me out here and hopefully, we can find the missing pieces soon. They are now investigating my past to find out how I ended up with Father Damiel" Gavin informed.

"Do you think he is someone that can be trusted?" Lucas questioned, pertaining to Damiel.

"At this point, no one can be trusted, father, so I'm taking extra precautions before doing anything. Yes, I feel his sincerity towards me as a father but I also think that there's something off.

I mean I feel like something doesn't add up so I wanted a thorough investigation done on Father Damiel as well. We are all working on it already and I'll inform you if we find anything new," Gavin explained.

"Alright, son. You and Brione must always take care of yourselves okay?" Lucas reminded him.

"You sound very exhausted, father. You should lessen your work and rest whenever you can. You can entrust everything to Will and Uncle Sean. Those two are the best and are also really reliable," Gavin praised with a chuckle, trying to lighten up the mood.

"Yeah, I know. I really don't know what I would do in this situation if not for the help of those father and son who are very loyal to us. Those two deserve to be praised and rewarded very highly."

"Yes, and we will give them their due reward, father…" Gavin commented.

"You and Brione deserve a nice honeymoon as well. You guys should also focus on giving me a grandchild," Lucas commented next which made Gavin laugh in delight.

"Hahaha. We are already doing that father. And we can have our honeymoon regardless of where we are, even at home. In fact, you can expect a grandchild soon because your daughter-in-law is very family-oriented and just like me, she also cannot wait to have a baby as well." Gavin proudly stated.

"Then that's good to hear. I am glad that you two are enjoying each other's company. I am really grateful that you found someone who is willing to stay by your side at times like this. I will not take much of your time as I too have things to finish. Make sure to call me if you need anything"

"Alright, father. Please don't forget to take some rest. Make sure to eat your meals on time and call me if something happens," Gavin nagged his father before ending the call.

He sighed as he looked at his phone for a while. His father sounded really tired but Gavin also knew that he would not rest because of the burden his father was carrying. He looked at a bird that perched on the table where he was sitting on a chair in the garden.

"Hey, there little fellow. Do you happen to carry news about the Mirage? But I'm not in the mood to write right now. How about you help me locate my twin brother first and in exchange, I will write whatever it is you want to report?" he retorted.

Once in a while, some animals would visit him wherever he was to relay the current happenings in the Mirage, and the most amazing thing was that it was telepathic. Yes, he was able to communicate with the animals telepathically.

After listening to them, he would just go to a private room and start typing it out on his laptop whenever he was free.

He sometimes wondered how nice it would be if he was able to use the gift he had for his personal matters too. But unfortunately, he couldn't use his powers unless it was about something involving the Mirage.

Maybe he could ask for help directly from the Mirage members. He was aware of people who are extremely gifted, someone like Raine. He was unsure of whether he had already met that woman in the past because he had no recollection of it but Xander had mentioned that he was officially introduced to all the Mirage and had also personally met all important people in the organization.
