Mitch and Berry hadn't recovered yet from that shocking news they heard from Brione when they heard a knock outside the door.

Brione gave her go signal, allowing the person outside to enter the room. The door swung open and Kevin emerged from it.

The three ladies were surprised upon seeing him. Kevin greeted Brione with a faint smile before his eyes landed on Mitch. She reflexively blushed upon meeting his gaze. Kevin smiled at her tenderly before he spoke to the Ladies.

"His royal highness is inviting you to the conference room right now. They will be having a meeting together with a team who will help him in managing this company."

Berry gasped in surprise. "Oh my, Brione is not joking. Gavin indeed bought this company!"

Mitch was also in awe. Kevin just confirmed it with them. The new owner of Cooper Entertainment and Network was none other than Gavin.

Brione didn't know why Gavin asked for her presence during this meeting. She just followed Kevin to the conference room.

Upon entering the conference room, Gavin and others were already gathered around the long executive table. Gavin stood up and welcomed Brione, asking her to sit beside him.

Gavin wanted Brione to join the meeting since she was also the owner of this company. What belonged to him belonged to his wife as well.

Gavin was introduced to the management team of the company as the new owner. Loli was also there. She was the Vice-Chairman.

On Gavin's side, a team was led by Aurora. She was the one who would help them sort things out about business and transfers of Cooper Entertainment and Network.

The meeting lasted for two hours. Loli gave Gavin and his team a short overview of how the Cooper Entertainment company worked.

While Brione, Gavin, and others were having a meeting inside that conference room, Kevin stayed with Berry and Mitch in their office.

Kevin approached Mitch and started to talk to her. Berry was just silently watching the two. She pretended to be busy working on her laptop, but she was all ears on them, secretly listening to their conversation.

"How's your day, Manager Mitch?" Kevin asked her expectantly.

He was dying to talk to her. But he was afraid that Mitch was busy with something. When he could no longer hold it back, Kevin finally approached her.

Unknown to him, Mitch was also waiting for him to make a move first. She was glad that Kevin opened up a conversation with her. She was also thinking of how she would entertain him since he was just sitting on the corner a while ago.

"My day is fine…" Mitch responded with a smile.

'Especially now that I see you,' Mitch added in her thoughts but she didn't dare to voice it out.

"How about you, Kevin?" She asked him back.

"It's so great now that I see you," Kevin bluntly said while flashing his charming smile.

Mitch felt like her heart leaped inside her chest. Kevin just said the thing out loud that she wanted to say. How come they were thinking of the same thing?

Mitch was dumbfounded for a moment, trying to calm her heart. She just swooned because of his simple words.

"Oh, by the way, just call me by my name, omit the word Manager, okay?" Mitch said, changing the topic.

"I would love to do that… Mitch."

Berry couldn't help but smile in her seat. She glanced at Mitch, giving her a thumbs-up sign while winking at her.

'Go girl! Just keep it up, Mitch. You are doing fine.'

Mitch just gave Berry a warning look, telling her to behave. Berry just nodded at her while drawing a curve on her lips using her index finger. She was reminding Mitch to keep smiling.

Mitch just narrowed her eyes on her. If they continued giving each other a signal, Kevin might catch them. So Mitch just ignored Berry and brought her attention back to Kevin.

The two continued talking about work and other stuff. Mitch was making good progress in entertaining Kevin.

However as time went by, Berry felt left out and lonely. Kevin and Mitch seemed like they had their own world, talking and laughing together.

'Gosh, why do I feel like I will be eating lots of dog food right now just watching these two? Oh, my poor single heart!' Berry lamented to herself.

She could see how Mitch and Kevin exchanged sticky glances with one another as if they were already an official couple.

Mitch was smiling sweetly at Kevin, while the latter was also doing the same. He was looking at Mitch with his affectionate eyes. It was very obvious that the two had a thing for each other.

She could no longer watch this so she stood up to excuse herself for a moment.

"Kevin, Mitch, I will just go out to buy some snacks. Tell me what you want to eat. I'll buy it for you," Berry said, catching the attention of the two.

"Oh, let me buy the snacks," Kevin volunteered since he was the man. He got so carried away talking with Mitch that he forgot to ask the ladies if they wanted to eat some snacks.

"No need, Kevin. Just stay here with Mitch. Keep her company, alright!" Berry said to him meaningfully before leaving the room in a rush.

Kevin and Mitch just watched Berry run away in a hurry without looking back. Mitch smiled inwardly. She knew that Berry just wanted them to have some privacy.

"I guess we are left alone here. You got stuck with me now," Mitch unconsciously blurted out. Then she regretted saying it aloud upon seeing the intense gaze coming from Kevin.

"Mitch, I don't mind being stuck with you 24 hours. In fact, I would love doing that, especially if you would allow me," Kevin said, letting out a husky laugh.

Mitch's eyes widened and her jaw dropped. She tried to open her mouth to say something only to close it again. She was at a loss for words especially now that Kevin's intense gaze still lingered on her blushing face.
