Derek reflexively released Brione's hand when he was hit by her on his crotch. It was a hard kick from Brione, causing him to writhe in excruciating pain.

Brione grabbed the opportunity to escape from Derek's grasp. She ran away from him and hurriedly rushed out of the dressing room.

Berry and Mitch were waiting outside when they saw Brione running out in a hurry. She looked so mad. They wondered what Derek told Brione, making her furious.

"Hey, are you okay? Did you argue with him?" Mitch approached Brione. She was looking at her worriedly.

Instead of answering Mitch, Brione signaled the two ladies to follow her.

"Let's get out of here. If I stay here I might end up killing a maniac CEO," Brione said through her gritted teeth.

"Boss, did Derek touch you?! Did he do something inappropriate? Did he harass you? Gavin should know this!" Berry spoke to her spontaneously as the three ladies continued walking to leave the place.

"That evil CEO of ours! I hate him. Is Gavin not doing anything against him? Based on his possessive attitude, he should have done something already! He hates it if a guy is pestering Brione," Berry added.

Mitch nodded her head in agreement. "That's true. Why didn't Gavin send another lawyer? It seems that Atty. Kyle is still handling your concern."

"Yeah, Gavin said he would take care of everything. But I insisted on handling this concern. Gavin already has lots of important things to do with his own fights. I don't want to add this to his burden," Brione explained to them.

"Alright. We understand. But what happened there? We heard Derek scream." Mitch asked Brione curiously.

"That Bastard! He tried to threaten me that he would ruin my reputation if I continue to terminate my contract here. He insulted Gavin, thinking that he is better than him. He even shamelessly asked to become his lover."

"What?!! He did that to you? I should have beaten him into pulp if I were you!" Berry reacted right away.

"Gavin will not like this," Mitch also commented.

"Don't worry, ladies! I taught him a lesson. I was not able to hold myself so I slapped him hard. He got mad and tried to force himself on me, but I gave him a hard kick on his balls! That's why I was able to escape!" Brione raised her fist while smiling wickedly.

"Whoa! I'm so proud of you, Boss! Good job!" Berry praised Brione, patting her shoulder.

"You should be more careful, Brione. We never know what CEO Derek will try to do against you. You should inform Gavin about this incident," Mitch suggested, feeling worried about Brione.

"Sigh, with all the people who can buy Cooper Entertainment, why does it have to be Derek Cyrus?! Everything is doing well on our sides. It suddenly got messed up ever since Derek Cyrus took over the company!" Berry complained to them.

She was also worried about Brione's well-being. She couldn't believe that a CEO tried to harass his own artist. This was unforgivable!

Meanwhile, oblivious of what was happening to Brione right now, Gavin went to see Xander in his office at Yang Globals group building as he had something important to discuss with him.

He immediately went to visit Xander after dropping Brione off at her workplace. Xander was glad to see Gavin. He welcomed him right away and offered him some drinks.

The two settled down on the veranda wherein they discussed Mirage. There were lots of questions Gavin wanted to ask Xander.

"Xander, I am wondering what my role is in Mirage?" Gavin asked him directly.

Xander had a faint smile on his face. He could understand if Gavin was seeking some answers.

"Gavin, you are the keeper of Mirage. The Mirage wiped the memories of all the people involved in saving my wife before, except you and me," Xander explained to him.

"But why?" Gavin probed.

"Because you and I are part of Mirage."

"Xander, can I use my gift to find my twin brother?" Gavin asked him expectantly.

There was a hopeful look in his eyes. He really wanted to find Cedric as soon as possible.

But Xander shook his head as a response.

"I'm sorry Gavin. I don't think that is possible. You can only use your special ability if it is concerning Mirage. Your gift can be used only for serving your purpose as Mirage Historian."

Gavin felt saddened after hearing that from Xander. He thought he could use his ability to locate and find Cedric's whereabouts. He was hoping that Cedric was still alive out there.

Xander patted Gavin's shoulder to console him. He knew that Gavin wanted to put all his effort just to find his missing brother.

"Don't worry, Gavin. You will find your twin brother. Don't lose hope."

Gavin nodded his head. "Yes. I will not give up. I will find Cedric no matter what."

Xander and Gavin were still talking on the veranda when Gavin's phone rang. It was a call from one of his men whom he assigned to monitor his wife's safety.

Gavin answered the call immediately as he assumed that his men had something important to report to him.

"Hello, what is it?"

If this was all about his wife then he had to know as soon as possible.

"Your highness, something happened to your wife, Lady Brione, in her workplace."

Gavin's eyes widened upon hearing that. His face was suddenly painted with worries and concerns for Brione.

"Huh? What happened to my wife? Is she safe? Where is she now? Tell me!" Gavin unknowingly raised his voice as he bombarded him with questions. He was so anxious as this was concerning Brione.

"Your highness. Lady Brione is just fine. She's with her assistant and manager right now. However, upon monitoring the footage of the hidden camera of her necklace, we found out that their CEO Derek Cyrus tried to harass Lady Brione inside her dressing room! Fortunately, she was able to protect herself."

"What?!! That Bastard! He tried to harass my wife?! I will kill him!!!" Gavin was fuming with rage as soon as he heard the report. He had the urge to beat someone to death.
