"But don't you feel something weird, Berry? I mean, how could they suddenly find Gavin? Also, why did Cedric just let Brione go like that? How can the Prince give up so easily? I don't think it's in his character. We may have been in Perdu Island for a short time but I could already tell that Cedric is the kind of person who is even willing to move mountains just to keep Brione so why did he give her up so easily?" Mitch whispered as she began thinking about him.

"Haha look at you. You're team Cedric, aren't you?" Berry teased. "Well, even if you say that we don't know what's gotten in that guy's mind so we will have to wait and see. Let's just visit Gavin tomorrow and ask what his reaction was when he saw Cedric… his doppelganger." Berry suggested.

The duo were unable to interview Brione since she had closed her eyes during their entire ride a while ago saying she was having jet lag. Maybe they could start pestering her once they dropped her off later

Meanwhile back to where Brione was, Brione intentionally dropped her purse just so she could get away from Derek's disgusting arm that was holding her shoulder without getting too much attention from the guests and reporters. That was the purpose of why she would always bring something in her hand, whether it was a purse, a mobile phone, or a handkerchief, anything she could use to escape… It was her way of evading the vicious men who tend to take advantage of her whenever they were in front of the camera.

She picked it up and immediately excused herself before she walked to where Mitch and Berry were. She quickly said her goodbyes to everyone. Mitch and Berry were quick to be on her side with Mitch on her right while Berry on her left. They made sure that no one would try to make another move on Brione, especially that Derek.

"I don't like that man Mitch!" Brione whispered annoyingly as they headed outside the entrance where their car was supposed to wait for them.

"Did you call our driver?" Mitch asked when she noticed that their service car had not arrived where they were waiting. Berry grabbed her mobile phone to call him again but there was only a busy tone.

"I dismissed your car service since I plan to take Brione home myself. I will have my driver to bring you, two ladies, back home instead."

The three girls froze from where they stood when they suddenly heard the familiar voice of Derek.

"You gotta be kidding me?" Brione annoyingly scoffed. The new CEO was too arrogant and annoying.

'Who did he think he was to Boss me around like this?' she mused, forgetting that the man was her new Boss.

"I'll handle this," Mitch whispered before she turned around to smile at their new CEO and said, "it's okay Sir. We will take Brione home."

Derek ignored her and instead, he walked past them so that he could face Brione as he offered, "Please allow me to drive you home. Don't worry, I will behave and will make sure to keep you safe. I promise."

Brione's jaw clenched, she was so close to snapping out on that man!

But then, a red Bugatti in its latest model suddenly stopped in front of them. Berry could not stop her mouth from drooling as she stared at the car. Unlike her, Brione together with the rest outside, creased their forehead as they waited for the owner of the car to get out.

As the door was pushed open, Brione's face instantly lit up upon seeing the most handsome man in her eyes.

"That's Gavin! Come take pictures and videos!" murmured the reporters who followed Brione outside. Brione gasped when Gavin suddenly encircled his arm on her waist in a possessive manner. He looked at her and flashed her one of his charming smiles as he asked, "Ready to go Sweetheart?"

Brione's face blushed as she whispered shyly, "Yeah."

At that instant, Gavin pulled her towards the car. He opened the passenger seat. He waited for Brione to get in and sit inside before he leaned down to her level to put on her seatbelt. He did not leave her there that instant but instead, he paused to stare at Brione with his face just a few inches away from her as he whispered, "you look so stunning tonight that I suddenly had an urge to take you right here, right now!"

Brione's eyes widened in disbelief. She was about to scold him but before she could even do that, Gavin leaned forward to give her a very quick and yet enticing kiss.

Gavin pulled back after, straightening his back before he turned and frowned at Derek. His jaws were clenched tight as he stared at him. He dragged his eyes towards Mitch and Berry as he ordered with an authoritative tone in his voice, "make sure I see no flies around my woman, or else I will rather put a bodyguard around her twenty-four-seven!"

Taken aback, the two women gulped, and just nodded their heads while they watched Gavin enter the car and drove away.

"You two! Are you his employees that you have to follow his orders?!" Scolded Derek as soon as the reporters returned inside.

Both women only gulped nervously, they were about to receive another mouthful from him but thank goodness, Vice Chairman Loli arrived in time, pulling Derek back inside.

"That was intense," Mitch muttered.

"Didn't you notice? Gavin acted just like the Prince. That possessive look and authoritative aura are just like the Prince's! And what's with the car? Last time I checked, Boss Gavin did not have that kind of car!!" Berry exclaimed. She honestly thought it was Prince Cedric who approached Brione and the one who scolded them earlier. He was so possessive but at the same time lovingly towards Brione.

"You're right, I felt like it was the Prince who scolded us. I mean CEO Derek is right we are not Gavin's employees. It's a good thing that he arrived just in time to save Brione…" Mitch sputtered. She looked at Berry and added, "Call the driver again."

But before Berry could call, another car stopped by in front of them. The two women were shocked to see Kevin getting out of the car.

"The bodyguard?!" Berry burst.

"Kevin?!" Mitch whispered, her face was blushing.

Kevin smiled at the two women before he offered, "please get inside and I will drive you two home."

Berry got inside first in the backseat and when Mitch was about to enter as well, Kevin opened the passenger seat and said, "Please sit here, Manager Mitch."

Mitch, with an awkward smile, nodded. She could feel the sudden intense and teasing gaze coming from Berry as she sat on her seat.

As soon as Kevin was inside, Berry asked, "Why are you here? Is Prince Cedric here too? How about assistant Will? Is he here too?"

Kevin stepped on the gas first then drove away from the venue before he answered her questions, "Hmm, yes, His Highness is here but unfortunately assistant Will is not with him."
