Kiss Me Not Chapter 109

At the Lewis Residence, the dinner went very well. Kimmy and Daniel had a great time conversing. It was just like the old days. She narrated all her experiences during her time away from the country animatedly making Daniel burst out in laughs.
"Oh, your mother!! God, I can't imagine the look on Leila's face when she found out that you were working as a bodyguard!" Daniel burst out and Kimmy laughed.
"It was the usual routine, Uncle. She still won't stop nagging about what I did. But being away honestly made me think about a lot of things. I learned to work hard, make a living and become more independent. I feel that I'm more mature now compared to how childish I was before," Kimmy whispered.
"That's good, dear. Now that you are back I hope you will visit this old man often," Daniel teased her.
"Of course I will, Uncle. In fact, I will come here so often that you'll end up getting sick of me. I will even take you out on dates more often. Would you like that?" Kimmy asked. It was the least she could do after what she had done.
"Silly child, I will never get tired of you. I look forward to our dates then." Daniel said with a gentle smile. He really wanted someone like Kimmy to be in his son's life. Kimmy was a bubbly and sweet person who can brighten up Cain's dark and serious life. He shook his head trying to remove such thoughts from his mind.
The two talked for a little more before Daniel said he wanted to get some rest so Kimmy decided to go home early as well.
When Daniel heard her, he looked at his son and ordered, "Drive her home safely, Cain."
Kimmy smiled and said, "It's okay, Uncle. I can just take a cab or ask my mom's driver to come pick me up."
"Nonsense! Cain will drive you back," Daniel signaled his son again, who stood up and said, "I will wait for you outside."

"You should leave with him dear," Daniel told Kimmy.
She stood up and kissed Uncle Daniel on his cheek and said, "Thank you for having a big generous, and forgiving heart. I will definitely make it up to you."
Daniel chuckled and said, "This child, stop worrying your little brain and go home. I will see you soon," Daniel commented with a smile and Kimmy waved at him before she turned around and walked out the door.
Cain opened the car door for Kimmy and she got inside. They drove towards her apartment in complete silence.
"Tell me, are you still willing to do anything to compensate me for the humiliation you caused?" Cain suddenly said.
Kimmy turned to look at him and could tell that he was in a serious mood.
"Yes, I am," she answered in an equally serious tone. She was curious to know what was going on inside Cain's head.
"What do you want me to do?" Kimmy asked with an arched brow.
"I need a servant. I want you to serve me and live in my house while doing that. I need a servant to look after my father while I'm away for work and do some housework for me like taking care of my stuff, cleaning my room, and cooking." Cain elaborated without batting an eye. His eyes never moved away from the road.
"What?! Are you serious?" Kimmy exclaimed, wondering if she heard incorrectly. She had already run away once. Doesn't this man know that she could just run away again?! In fact over and over again?!
Cain glanced at her and immediately knew what she was thinking. Her thoughts were clearly expressed on her face. "Well, if you don't want to do it then you can just run away like you did before but before you do think about what you did to my family.
Nonetheless, the choice is in your hands. You could stay and be my servant or you can run away and live with the fact that you hurt my family. I don't think it's a difficult decision considering what you did," Cain coldly expressed his opinion.

"Stop the car," Kimmy muttered.
"We're in the middle of the road, so stop being melodramatic," Cain answered.
"Melodramatic? How about you stop being so impossible, huh? You are asking me to be your slave? Seriously? Do you really believe that your cheap offer is fair? I'm a Princess for God's sake! I would rather pay a team of servants to do all the work for you," Kimmy scorned.
Kimmy, who was already fuming in anger, almost lost her cool when she heard Cain laugh.
"Funny how just yesterday, I heard you say that you were willing to do anything even after I warned you that I would never ask you to do anything simple. Is it that hard to be my personal servant?" Cain said mockingly.
"You're really nuts aren't you?! Cook and clean for you?! Heck, I don't even know how to wash my own clothes! And I asked you to stop the damn car!!!" Kimmy shouted.
She wanted to punch Cain right in the face. She was so angry that she thought she might even kill the man, but she breathed deeply and calmed herself down. She should have expected something like this given his personality. He was like a devil in disguise. Outside he looked like someone respectable but on the inside, he was a devil from hell.
She tried to open the door, but couldn't because Cain had locked from his side.
"Stop the car you bastard! I will not ask you twice" she demanded through gritted teeth.
Cain who heard her finally lost his cool and coldly said, "What did you expect, Kimberly? Did you expect me to simply let things pass just like my father did? I am sorry to say this but I'm not like my Father. I don't easily get swayed by your superficial apology no matter how many times you say the words 'I'm sorry'."
Cain, who turned to glance at her, met her sharp eyes. He looked at her for a few seconds before focusing his gaze on the road.
"One month." Kimmy suddenly whispered.
"What?" Cain asked, feeling confused.
"I will serve you for one month and we then will be even, Cain! After I'm done I will owe you nothing! I will pay for the humiliation and harm I caused by serving you for a month!" Kimmy announced while gritting her teeth. She understood by now that Cain was dead set on making her life a living hell during the span of time she served him.
Cain had not expected her to agree so for a while he only stared at her. They were like two people engaged in a battle.
"Six months," Cain said after returning to his senses.
"Two months!!!" Kimmy hissed.
"Five…" Cain replied.
"Three!!! Take it or leave it, dammit!" Kimmy said with finality.
"Deal!" Cain answered, his face expressionless.
"You can start from tomorrow," Cain said.
She sighed loudly. She just wanted to get over the guilt she was feeling. Maybe if she paid what she owed Cain, she would probably be able to move on from the guilt she felt when she saw Uncle Daniel.
She was aware that Cain aimed to punish her by asking her to do something like this but she would not let him humiliate her.
"I would like to tell you that you are not allowed to fall in love with me during the time I spend serving you. This servant-master relationship is just my way of compensating you and nothing more."
She frowned when she heard Cain let out a mocking laugh and confidently state, "I should be the one saying that. It should be me reminding you that you are not allowed to fall in love with me. This master-servant relationship is just me clearly asking you to pay me for the humiliation and harm you caused my family and nothing more."
