He already instructed his people to purchase a property near Brione's penthouse to stay whenever he was in her country to see her. Although secretly he was hoping Brione would let him stay with her either in her place or his. It would not matter to him as long as they were together.

She was still quiet and he knew why. He was honestly controlling himself from teasing her more because he was afraid that Brione would throw something at him once she reached her limit.

'Throw something?!' he frowned lightly, wondering why he thought Brione would do that.

"Bri, do you have the habit of throwing things when you are super annoyed?" he asked out of curiosity.

But to her dismay, Cedric shook his head and said, "Nothing of that sort. I just thought of it out of nowhere. It simply popped in my mind that you might throw something at me if I continue teasing you so I controlled myself since I don't want you to get pissed off at me when I'll be leaving soon. Cedric smiled, pleased that Brione was being considerate towards him. He knew she was about to say Gavin but she stopped herself.

They shared a wonderful breakfast but Cedric wanted to spend more time with Brione so he asked the servant for a coffee they could drink in the living room. While the servant was pouring coffee for them, Will arrived to inform Cedric that it was time to leave. Cedric waited for the servant to leave before he spoke.

"Will, you should go ahead first, I will follow you in a while," Cedric said. He was still sitting on the couch, having coffee with Brione. Will knew Cedric needed time to say bye to Brione so he left.

"I really want to bring you with me," Cedric said longingly and put down his coffee. He also took Brione's coffee and put it down on the table. He held her shoulder to make her face him.

"I want to kiss you, can I?" he asked with a meek expression.

"Why are you even asking when you have already kissed me numerous times without bothering to ask for permission." Brione casually commented as she silently tried to calm her heart. Cedric never failed to make her heart flutter.

He moved and gently placed his lips on hers. They started slow and gentle but it escalated very soon. Brione encircled her arms around his neck as the kiss deepened. Cedric slowly pulled her to his lap and wrapped his arms around her waist. She straddled him, sitting comfortably on his lap as their kiss continued.
