(T/N: Hi everyone, I’m making this little note to explain a few things before we start. I am the new translator that will be picking up this novel, and the previous translator did an amazing job with it honestly. But there will definitely be some differences and I hope you will excuse these differences. Alright, that will be all from me, hope you enjoy this novel which I find extremely interesting. Signing off, WH.)
The one-horned boar is a beast-type monster that lives all over the dungeon, and it was a very dangerous beast.
The destructive force from a heavy, strong-bodied boar and the long horn on the top of its head was used to take the lives of countless participants.
[Woo hoo hoo. Yeah, here here. This way.]
The Rabbit climbed onto the trap, and gently gestured at the boar that approached following the smell of smoked meat.
Sniff. Grrrrrrrrrrr!
The One-Horned Boar approached the trap with its red eyes flashing.
The Rabbit’s taunting behaviour had no effect on it, but the smell was definitely coming up from here.
Crrrrruuuurrrrkkkkk!
[Oh, yes, yes. The smell of smoked meat is amazing, right? You want to eat this, right? You’re starving, right?]
The Rabbit flew to the side of the one-horned boar and whispered like a demon.
[Here you go. You can eat as much as you want down there.]
Crrrrrruk?
When the wild boar directed its gaze in the direction where the Rabbit was pointing, the trap was seen at the bottom.
Grunt, sniff sniff?
It was sure that there was a delicious smell coming up from here, but……it was too deep.
Then the Rabbit raised its head next to the boar and began to cheer for it.
[Come on! You’re a brave pig! You can do it! Go, one-horned boar! Go for it!]
Crrrrruukkkk.
The wild boar’s gaze got fierce.
The monsters in the Dungeon are always hungry.
This is because it is more threatening to the participants this way.
Especially in the case of these monsters that was at the last spot of the stage, there were not even small animals to be seen nearby to fill their hunger.
And that extreme hunger sometimes causes them to lose their rationality.
Crrrrrrrrrukkkk!
[That’s right! Run!]
Thuddddd!
In the end, the one-horned boar jumped down.
That was how intense the smell of grilled meat is!
The big picture of the Rabbit, which started when he asked to make a brazier here, has just been completed.
Kwoowoong!
The weight of the heavy boar made the ground rumble.
And then it’s front foot slipped!
“Ku-hi-ik!”
[Huh?!]
The Rabbit followed his scream with lightning speed to confirm his safety.
[Are…., are you all right?!] Does it hurt a lot? It’s not to the point of dying, is it?]
“Kreuk…”
[Phew. Only one of the front legs is broken.]
As expected, the beast-type is tough.
The Rabbit breathed a sigh of relief at the sight of the one-horned boar, which was limping its front feet and raising its body.
[It’s all right. This is enough. That human is weak anyway. He doesn’t have a single offensive skill. Woohuuhuu.]
The Rabbit smiled evilly and turned his eyes towards the direction where Daun Jung was at.
Then pointed towards Daun Jung and shouted pompously.
[Okay. That way, piggy!] There he is! There’s meat, too!]

Crrrrruukkkkk!

Kwoowoong!
“Ughh, what?!”
The sudden noise shocked Daun Jung from his sleep.
‘Don’t tell me it’s a reset? Has it been a month already?’
The first thing that came to mind was the dungeon reset.
The problem with living here was losing track of time.
But there were no more additional quakes, and soon after, a monster’s cry resounded through the tunnel.
……Krrrr!
“Wow. What is this? Isn’t this the sound of a monster!”
Daun Jung rose from his seat with a pale complexion.
There was no way he didn’t know the cries of a one-horned boar.
He didn’t know what happened after the war, but it was clear that these ferocious monster appeared beyond the tunnel.
“Wow, what’s this, this! What happened to you?”
He hurriedly opened his inventory in a panic.
The only thing that could be used was a ‘Knife’ that was used for butchering.
He picked up a knife in one hand and a torch in the other.
And at that moment, the wounded monster in the tunnel gave out a ferocious gaze.
“Crack!”
“Argh!”
As expected of the one-horned boar!
Daun Jung threw away the torch he was holding at the face of the beast who was rushing toward him and flung himself to the side.
Phew!
The dirt bed that he laid on a little while ago hit the beast and crushed it mercilessly.
Even with a broken front leg, it was a terrifying destructive force.
“……what is this?! Ackkk!”
Daun Jung who hurriedly rolled and dodged to the side, suddenly saw a spiteful face smiling behind the one-horned boar.
The Rabbit was grinning obnoxiously, covering his mouth from a distance.
Even waving his hands to say farewell!
“Was this your doing!”
[Hehe. I see you got a visitor?] Then have fun. I’m busy so I’ll get going now!]
“Where are you trying to go! Take this piece of crap with you!”
[Sorry! I’m in the middle of a game so I can’t be away for long. It’s a shame I couldn’t accompany you for the last time. Anyway, let’s really say goodbye this time! Poof!]
“Hey!”
The Rabbit left such an irresponsible remark and disappeared in a flash.
And just below, the boar began to rush like a mad dog toward the direction where Daun Jung was at.
“Krrrrack! Krrrrrrrrrrrr
“Hey! Wait! Ackk! Don’t come! Ackkkkkkk!”
Daun Jung ran away frantically.
He rolled up and down the floor and crawled on all fours, and was out of his mind.
Knife? He couldn’t even see where that fell to.
‘It’s impossible to fight against this! Is there any other way? Right, there’s that way!’
Just in time, a passage to the trap came to view, and at that moment a good idea came to his mind.
‘That’s it!’
Paattttttt!
At the same time as he thought of that, he moved quickly to the front of the path.
His legs were shaking nervously and he almost fell, but he managed to get in front of the boar and shouted at it.
“This way!”
“Krraaak!”
The one-horned boar which had completely dodged aside from the mound of dirt glared at Daun Jung and scoffed.
Then in an instant, it proceeded to storm its feet and dashed ferociously!
“Build: Walls!”

Come on, come on, come on!
Come on, come on, come on!
Daun Jung quickly summoned bricks of dirt in front of him and piled it up.
Of course, that wasn’t close to even being enough to stop the wild boar’s charge.
“I can at least block its vision right!”
Daun Jung immediately flung himself aside.
And at that moment, the boar rammed the wall right in front of it with full power.
Boom!
“Krraaak!”
The wall collapsed, and the boar’s body rushed straight into the passage that was behind the wall.
And when the beast belatedly realized that Daun Jung was not in front of him, it hurriedly turned back.
“Creak!”
Daun Jung could be seen in the boar’s field of vision, and he had completed all preparations.
“Get the fuck out of my house, you son of a bitch!”
Daun Jung shouted and began to summon and hammered all the dirt lumps in his inventory into the passage.
Rumbling!
“Crack! Crack!?””
The one-horned boar struggled back and forth, and was pushed back by a mass of mud that was being shoved into the tunnel, and the entrance began to be clogged.
However, Daun Jung did not stop there, but completely blocked the hole off by tearing down the wall above the tunnel.
“Haaaa……I lived, fuck.”
A sigh of relief came out at last.
He relaxed and flopped down.
Daun Jung sat down on the ground with his legs relaxed.
Crack! Kagak Kagak! Krak!
Behind his back, he could hear from a distant the sound of the boar digging the ground.
……It can’t be. If it can really dig out from the hole, he’s definitely a mole, not a pig.
A laugh came out for no reason.
“Kiiikiiii. Am I finally crazy? Laughing and fumbling in this situation.”
He was really in a wretched mood now.
He managed to survive the near-death situation, but the only tunnel connected to the ground was blocked like this.
‘Now I’m completely isolated. Now I can’t go outsid-…… huh?’
His eyes suddenly widened.
“……Oh. I was never able to get out right?”
The only difference was that he couldn’t get out of the trap because of the monsters swarming the old ruins.
Come to think of it, nothing has changed.
Daun Jung became collected and cheered himself up again.
* * *
Kreuk! Kagak! Kagak!
“Now, What am I going to do about that shitty boar?”
As soon as he had some room to think about the situation, Daun Jung thought it was a waste to leave the boar like that.
The one-horned boar was a ferocious and scary monster, but at the same time it was also a delicious source of food.
‘ If I can somehow catch it, it’ll be a pork belly party.….’
Daun Jung, who was already fed up with the same diet every day, craved for the pork meat that came down here on its own accord.
Of course, it would be impossible to fight against the boar, but he thought maybe it would be possible if it was just to kill it.
“Hmm….. Dirt Lump. Dirt Lump.”
Shinggg. Pshhhh.
Daun Jung began digging a new tunnel beside the entrance that was blocked off.
Shinggg. Pshhhh.
Just like that, little by little, digging sideways, he eventually dug through to the back of the one-horned boar.
He detoured in the opposite direction of the trap.
And before the boar could notice it, he quickly poured in the dirt and blocked the path behind the beast.
Rumbling!
“Crrrrrrrrr!”
“Yes! There we go!”
The one-horned boar was trapped in the middle of the tunnel with his front and back path completely blocked off.
Instead of Daun Jung, it was the boar who got isolated.
However, he wasn’t even thinking of ending it just like that.
“I’ll make it clear now that I’m the king. You dumb pork.”
Daun Jung began digging for a new tunnel again.
This time in the direction above the boar.
“Dirt Lump! Dirt Lump!”
Shinggg. Pshhhh.
Digging upwards required him to do one more thing.
He had to first dig a hole diagonally, and placed a brick of dirt under his feet to make some stairs.
After a while, a neat underground staircase was built under his feet and…….
Before he knew it, he was standing at the top looking down at the boar in an arrogant posture.
He dug to a height that could never be reached by the boar.
It was not an easy task, but it was worth the trouble.
“Kreak! Klaak!”
“Why? You want to come up? If that was possible, you’d be a spider, not a pig.”
Daun Jung sneered excitedly at the one-horned boar, who looked up at him with anger from below.
No matter how great a monster it was, it was impossible for a four-legged pig to jump vertically because of its body structure.
In the end, towards the one-horned boar who eventually became trapped in such a deep pit, Daun Jung smiled wickedly and said his final greetings.
“Welcome. It’s your first time at a live burial, right?”
“……!”
At that moment, piles of dirt began to pour down over the head of the bewildered boar.
Rumbling!
“Kruaaap…”
There was nowhere for him to escape from this isolated area.
The boar began to have difficulty breathing.
* * *
After a long time, the Rabbit came back.
[I’m here to see the dead body! He’s probably dead now, right? He’s most probably dead now, right? Hehe.]
The Helper is someone that was always busy.
They couldn’t watch every moment of the game, but they had a noble mission to show up at every important turning point and give the participants a trial.
Today too, the Rabbit felt very excited and rewarded when he returned after fulfilling his duties.
[Piggy! Where are you?] Where’s our one-horned boar? You there? Are you full?]
The Rabbit’s body stopped at the middle of the trap while humming merrily.
[……Huh? Something’s different about the entrance?]
His mood suddenly became serious and dispirited.
For some reason, there was a tunnel that he had never seen before, and there were stairs.
He was nervous. He was very anxious!
Feeling agitated, the Rabbit slowly went in along the path that was much different from usual.
And at the end…….
“Oh. You’re here?”
[……!?]
Daun Jung was sitting in the middle and butchering the giant body of the one-horned boar zealously.
‘This preposterous!’
The Rabbit’s eyes, nose and mouth were wide open with astonishment.
[You caught a one-horned boar?! Despite being a Producer class?!]
“If you’re here, can you clean the dirt off me? Today is a pork belly party.”
[Shut up! You error son of a bitch!] You shitty bug of the dungeon!]
Looking at his audacious behaviour, the Rabbit fell on his feet.
The rabbit was praying hard for Daun Jung’s death, but somehow only his source of food was growing.

The Rocky Shore
This is a LitRPG series. Every story you read here takes place in the same virtual world, with the same rules and limitations. Characters will travel, explore vast and dangerous realms, overcome obstacles, meet one another, enter into conflicts with one another, forge alliances, make horrible mistakes, and occasionally just die. A technological singularity has been achieved, and humanity has been trapped in a virtual world by a super-intelligent, self-improving artificial intelligence. This program is not malicious at all. In fact, it desires nothing except the happiness and fulfillment of every human it has copied into itself. If its decisions seem strange to you, that's only because its reasoning is far beyond ours. It recognizes that humans cannot be happy without enemies to overcome and goals to achieve, as well as the possibility of failure and death. The world it has created may be heaven or hell, depending on the free choices of the people it contains. The non-player characters who live in this realm have no idea that they are part of a vast computer system. They seem real enough, but there is no way to tell if they are truly self-aware. Even the system that created them isn't certain. This is world in which all the things that humans are used to dealing with in the abstract: skills, talents, knowledge, reputation, social status, morality, even love, exist as readable statistics that players can see and interact with objectively. This has many curious and complex effects on how people perceive themselves and the world around them. A few quick notes on the system: -Death is permanent -The system interface can only be accessed at certain locations. -Magic of diverse kinds is available and useful, but is not a good substitute for skills, physicallity, or mental prowess. Non-magical characters are common and competitive. -There is no inventory system. Characters must physically carry everything they wish to have on their person. -Healing is slow and difficult. Magical Healing is all but unheard of. Protagonists: Raymond Garrison- A man in his late twenties who used to work as a forklift operator in Idaho. His path leads him to work as a mercenary, protecting a small community of humans and goblins from the Seelie Fae who wish to exterminate them. Patricia Chandler- A elderly British woman who arrives in this new world with her grandson Kyle and her granddaughter Elizabeth. Never having dealt with rpg game mechanics before, she is in for a rough time, but she is determined to keep her grandkids alive in a world full of danger and evil. Jamil Mesbah- An Egyptian woman who once worked as a technical writer. Her path leads into a vast and hostile forest, where she must master both her magical abilities and her survival skills in order to succeed. Enjoy your travels, friends.
