Chapter 81: Lil Monke

After Venomous ended her survival games, she got a round of applause as players could watch it from both the game and real life. She wasn't surprised as her opponent was a known figure.

She just wrapped her finger around her white hair and ambled toward one of the restaurants where all the other players could watch the survival games.

Yumi's smile was both sweet and scary.

On her way, she found Zerze whose eyes were a little relieved, "You passed."

"If I didn't, you would need to search for me outside this tournament. I get it," Yumi replied, then bypassed him with indifference, "Your cold eyes aren't scary at all."

"..." Zerze closed those eyes as he stood still.

"I have seen much more shit in my life," Yumi said, then left the last words before the final survival battle, "It will all boil down to raw experience and in-game skills."

She wasn't scared of him. On every contact, her eyes remained composed and each of her steps was taken to actually sow some fear into Zerze's heart.

As the man who had completed The Impossible Quest the fastest, Zerze was ready to abandon and use everything at his disposal.

He also treated this game like his life, so his strong will couldn't be broken just from a few words.

But Yumi also had her reason to play this game with everything she got!

"That woman had the same eyes as our boss, didn't she?" One of the players casually spoke while looking at the various screens in the restaurant.

He wore casual clothes, but his level and guild were exposed.

Konnor Boom was his nickname and he was kinda scared to see someone with the same eyes as his boss. Even the color was the same, so he knew that if this woman set a goal on something, she would continue unless the god himself stopped her.

He was genuinely surprised to see that kind of player appearing in the Regional Tournament without any guild or fame before!

After all, there were a lot of players with a lot of fame around her level.

Konnor Boom glanced to the side and his guild friends thought the same, "Yep, she has the same eyes as the boss." Their boss would do anything for monetary gain! He had so much wealth, but it felt like his heart could never get satiated.

Thus, the players wondered what kind of person this Venomous woman was.

There were many dark bugs around one meter floating around him. Those bugs were mostly bees and hornets, looking scary as hell!

He wore a faint smile as it was good practice and he could also show off! For some time, The Black Magician was looking out for a guild that would accept him and bring out all their assets to support him!

To his grief, it was hard to find a guild that would give up everything to support him. His high ego wouldn't allow him to become just one of many members or 'just a little special member'!

"Let's ignore this man! He is accumulating more power!" Izzaku said as he noticed that his commentator partner was already letting out some tears!

"I hate bugs!" Lil Karolin emotionally commented, then shifted attention to somewhere else. Her eyes still brimmed with tears, but as she found another player, her heart suddenly stopped and tingling feelings filled her stomach to the brim!

She shouted, "Lil Monke!"

On another part of the same island, Lil Monke found a banana farm. He and his companion, baby monkey, were going around the farm and using their abilities to get as most bananas as possible!

They were also looking out for weapons as Michu liked to fight with the staff! He wanted to face his first opponent with everything he got after all!

However, it was hard to find players which were really weird!

He settled on the banana farm, sat down together with nature, and listened to the birds singing while munching on the banana.

Even KongFu reached out for a banana and both of them were sitting with full cheeks.

How could this sight be not cute at all?

"So cute! Lil Monke! Thank you so much for the treat!" Lil Karolin went all out and sang praises for the monke with her mellifluous voice.

She was so thankful and a little too engaged that even Venomous began to feel weird listening to all her words.

However, Lil Karolin was a known figure.

She had millions of fans and even one appearance on her social media would turn a normal player into a celebrity. It would then depend on that player whether he wanted to continue his career or not.

After all, it was sometimes easy to get attention. The best example was right now where a popular woman poured all her assets to Michu. However, keeping such attention was harder than said.

But Venomous felt like her boyfriend wouldn't do much about it, at least for now. And as Mythic Class, Michu was bound to rise either way.

She just enjoyed the praises for her boyfriend, then some action happened.

"Oh, looks like the player is coming to Lil Monke!" Izzaku commented!

Everyone was looking forward to seeing this farmer battle. No sane player would throw himself into the Regional Tournament without offensive skills or some battle experience!

If Michu was only the farmer, then his newly gained fame might as well scoosh right now!

Michu was aware of this player because of KongFu! Unknown to others, the baby monke was the old god, so his hearing was superb! He found human steps and notified his successor.

With bananas in their hands, both Michu and KongFu went forward to face the players.

A lot of people laughed at how innocent and cute they were.

"Halt here! This banana farm belongs to me," Michu announced, then said, "I have a sword. If you have a staff, then we can exchange!" He also had information about this player!

This man was a swordsman!

[Chronas Lv. 55 HP:??? MP:??? Guild: Ravenous Wolves.]

"Chronas is your name!"

"I know my name," Chronas scratched his hair and took out the staff, "Let's exchange," Both of them exchanged the weapons carefully, then Chronas looked around. He found out that the banana farm might be one of the best places to hide.

The reason he wanted to hide was that "You are a coward?"

"No! It's because of that black magician! If you have seen what he did, then you would be doing the same!" Chronas protected his dignity, then spoke about his plan, "If we hide for too long, the game will transport us to the battle royale platform. He should lose his bugs here and become vulnerable to weapons."

After Michu learned about the plague, he nodded and said, "You are pretty smart! That sounds like a good idea, actually!"

The swordsman awkwardly blushed, "Anyone would be able to think of that..."

"You can go to my banana farm and find a good hiding place!" Michu gave a helping hand to the player, then asked, "Where is that plague?"

"Huh?" Chronas blinked his eyes in confusion!

"Your plan is good, but I like challenges more! How often can you spot such a plague or black magic? This is a good challenge I can't pass on! We will learn a lot by fighting this man too! Hehe!" Michu laughed, his friend laughed, then both of them went forward to the Black Magician's plague!

If there was a silence in his place, then viewers of the stream were assailed by loud cheering from Lil Karolin that supported Lil Monke with her whole heart!

"Lil Monke, Lil Karolin will be cheering for you!" She shouted out of her lungs!
