I Will Be The Monkey God! Chapter 54

Chapter 54: The Impossible Quest
The Impossible Quest was located in the snowy mountains, far away from the beginner city called Hemil City. The white world had many monsters confined within such as ferocious wolves and bears that had adapted to the cold environment.
Those were around level forty and one would be able to see many trails left by their bodies around the white forest. However, that would be only if one stepped off the road. Following the main road, Michu and his friends finally got greeted by the unobtainable peak.
It was already snowy and their bodies required thick and warm clothes, "This realism... I wish I could literally curse on it," Sandra whispered, her words bringing out the white mist.
She wore a long and furry coat just like Michu and Venomous. It was a special piece of equipment that could be put on their already-on equipment. Of course, the realism also had to say something and forced the witch to give up on her hat and boots. Sandra had to hide her face with a hoodie and wear uncomfortable boots, but that saved her HP from falling.
Had she appeared here without any preparation, Sandra's frozen body would have been the first one to fall dead here. Her two friends had higher stamina, so they would survive a few seconds more without any equipment.
But Yumi wouldn't be Yumi if she didn't prepare anything, "We don't curse here," Venomous also added while faintly laughing. The Impossible Quest was here, but it would teleport them to an even harsher snowy environment.
The wrap was just at the mountain's feet, so the party's steps never stopped.
"What is the history of this Impossible Quest?" Their journey here had been long, so Michu couldn't hide his expectations anymore. He wanted to see the quest with his own eyes, but the path would still take some time.
Thus, he asked. His ears twitched as he got a rather absurd answer, "One player spent the whole year here. For players, one year is too much time, isn't it? Players want fast-paced quests filled with monster killings and other schemes."
"You can do so many things in one year! I understand," Michu nodded.
Venomous continued, "That's it. But there's a worse element of this quest. It's not certain that you would be able to complete it by spending a whole year here. Still, the players that had accomplished this quest left it with treasures in their hands."
Just as Yumi was about to speak further about those treasures, the group of players looked at them with their lips faintly raised. This kind of expression was clearly condescending and Michu didn't like it.

He wanted to ask them why they would look at them like that, but the leader of this group took a peek at them, "You think you can be like Zerze? There are so many idiots around here nowadays."
"Zerze?" Michu titled his head.
"The player that went through this Impossible Quest in less than a month. Don't tell me you haven't heard of him? Everyone is here because of him." The man didn't believe Michu and sent him a glare that forced Michu to plead guilty.
Venomous cut in, "I learned about this Impossible Quest through Zerze's fame." Her eyes glared back at the leader who flinched as if something had bitten him already, "Don't force your thoughts on others. There are too many Impossible Quests to count. This one has such a name because it's exposed to everyone."
"Tche. I don't need you to tell me that. No need to act smart-ass," The leader averted his eyes, then resumed his steps. He didn't want to deal with Venomous anymore, "You all will just lose your time and equipment here anyway. Some people are just destined to clear some things faster."
"Well, save your contradicting heart to yourself," Yumi waved her hand as well and continued to go forward. She explained about Zerze and his impossible achievement, "Impossible Quest, Impossible Achievement. It all sounds epic and like a big clickbait, but he did it. I didn't propose this quest because of his deed, though. I have a feeling that... a strong mentality is required for this quest to come through, so it fits us." Yumi glanced at Michu, then turned belatedly to Sandra as if she'd forgotten about her for a little.
Sandra forced a smile to appear on her face, "I will pray for at least one of us to complete it. For me, it will be a good test too." She didn't back off and added, "I will make the most out of it." This challenged Venomous who knew what Sandra had in mind.
The Prince Charming had already infected both of them, or at least that was how it looked. A few minutes later, Michu appeared before the cave whose entrance had been turned into a blue-white portal.
It whirled and charmed one's eyes with its content, but Michu felt like his mind spun instead. He got slightly nauseating, forcing him to say, "Can we go already?" Both Sandra and Venomous were done with their check-ups, so they nodded and all of them went together into it.
Michu glanced at Yakuzan, "Hold tight." Yakuzan was silent because he couldn't wear his sunglasses here! He nodded decisively with a threatening hue in his eyes! The other monkey just shook his head while looking at all those people and their preparations!

The world then turned blue and Michu appeared in a new world... alone.
-
"E-E-Ehhh! Why?!" Michu believed that he would appear together with his friends, but he ended up getting lost in the white world. Once he appeared on another side, Yumi and Sandra's touch faded away, replaced by the coldness that invaded his clothes too.
Michu was buried in the snow and he had to make his way outside by digging. His hands relentlessly waved before his eyes. If he were to stay here for too long, the effects similar to bleeding would bless his body.
Would that be a blessing, though?
Fortunately enough, Michu's teleportation wasn't severe. He left the snow world in less than five minutes, but the snowstorm waved its hand at him straight after his head had popped out.
Its content was like a sharp tornado with icicles and frozen stones. If he were to be swallowed by it, Michu would probably just die! "Isn't it better to stay below?" He momentarily thought, then wholly left the snow. However, would it be so easy to run here? Would it be so easy to escape this tornado that had already locked its gaze on the monke? Michu didn't think like that and instantly began to swim within this new environment! He felt his fingers becoming numb already and no sight of any help entered his eyes so far.
The more time passed, the worse it became, "I can't fall here! We didn't even eat sausages together! Ah, I must take an ice resistance pill... Yumi would kill me if I didn't..." Michu cried out loudly, unsettled by the fact that he couldn't have even a little fun with his friends here.
The cries continued as Michu swam. Although the snowstorm was just about to eat him, he didn't stop moving his limbs at all. By then, the loud wind exploded at the front.
The explosion of this element was so sharp and loud that Michu stopped and raised his eyes. Here, the man clad in similar furry clothes flew up toward him. He wore goggles and his appearance was neatly hidden from the rest of the world.
On this flight, the man took out a silver crystal. He crushed it, summoned another wind howl that pushed him closer to Michu! Of course, he didn't land on the snow, but on the tree next to Michu.
He then shouted, "I thought there was a damsel in need from how innocent you sounded, the lucky one." It was a familiar voice that brightened Michu's face! The man shrugged to this expression, then threw a rope below, "Hold tight." He said the same words, but the confidence reeked off.
There was also something cool within this man's actions and voice, "And another one!" Another silver crystal shattered, pushing both the man and Michu away from the snowstorm! Mid-air, Michu regained some balance and flew like a monkey on the cloud! This made things easier for his savior, so both of them were all smiles.
Once Michu got thrown into the cave, he raised his voice, "Handsome dude!"
[Your Prince Charming Call Me My Sweetheart! Lv. 44 Guild: Love Paradise Guild.]
"You remember me? That's why you are the lucky one," Handsome dude smiled, "I also remember you. How did it go with that girl?"
"Ah, it's all okay! We became even closer and better friends!" Michu happily giggled.
"Friends, hmm? Did you come here with her?" As the goggles fell off and the handsome dude threw off his clothes, the prince charming asked. It was really hot here, probably due to other treasures!
"Yes, but we got lost!" Michu's words brought out a sigh from the handsome dude.
"That's bad, the lucky one. You let the girl's hand go despite her wanting to hold you. You have failed. Still, I can't be that rough with a virgin. Come deeper."
"Thanks! Are you here alone?"
"Me? Alone? Never." There was another lady deeper in the cave. She held her hand close to the bonfire and she seemed to be lost in thoughts. However, the steps of Handsome Dude and Michu brought her back to reality.
Michu waved at her! "Oh, another beautiful friend!" He shouted, "Hello!" His eyes then shifted to Handsome Dude, "You have beautiful friends. I wanted to thank the lady from back then too."
"I will pass your words to her," Handsome Dude smiled, his eyes on the lady. Her initial indignation faded away just from his eyes alone and Michu's presence no longer was a bother. Once his hand slithered around her waist, the lady laid herself on his shoulder and closed her eyes.
"See, the lucky one. This is the romantic world. You can't waste your time here," Handsome Dude continued and it was time for some small talk, "This Impossible Quest is a particularly romantic world. A time flies here differently... In a few places, at least." He began with a mystery!
