Chapter 23: Venomous' path
"Of course, of course," Red Stigma shrugged, he was expecting this to happen. Wasn't it part of his dominance and fun in the game? An outburst of players and their dismay was one of the most engaging parts after all.
He said, "Even if I was just a normal player, I would do my best to catch up to the titans up above. Can you imagine how much experience I will get by killing the dungeon boss solo?" Red Stigma said what everyone would gladly go for.
Solo experience from the boss was like a wet dream for early-level players. It would bring them closer to the subclass and open more routes in the game. This achievement also could turn into a special item and maybe even a title.
"Though I have a special title given by my good friend," Red Stigma shared a little, "This title requires me to scheme against you. This is also the reason why I could trap those monsters without any item. With a flick, I made those run to our direction."
Red Stigma laughed maniacally and added, "So tell me, you idiot! Would you pass on this opportunity?! I can get the most of this dungeon, get your items and get additional rewards with this title! How could I pass it!? It's like giving up on epic class because it's a little bad. Fuck! If I had a chance to get an epic class, I would go for it even if it would force me to kill some players every day!" Red Stigma stated and looked at Michu who became the center of attention.
It was kinda true… Since in this game, even the gold class or just a unique class would help the player change one's life, Michu couldn't argue nor find words to talk back. He got an opportunity to play which was enough luck. To change his life, Michu would need much more luck and class would be the opportunity.

If his monkey class turned out to be different and cold-bloody, would he give up on playing?
The monkey's brain began to heat up and steam could be seen coming off it.
"The point is that you still chose to become a gangster," Venomous chimed in, her voice helping Michu. She whispered to him, "Monkey class can not be cold-blooded, because monkeys are cute," She then took a step forward, her back the only thing entering the monkey's eyes. Michu didn't realize it, but his staff skill exposed the identity of his class. Though Venomous had yet to learn about its grade!
At the helm, Venomous raised her sword, "Gangster or not, you decided to go against me. It's just appropriate of me to behead you."
"Haha, yeah… Come and bite me, Miss Snake." Red Sigma spread his arms within the formation, "It seems like you aren't that experienced. Can't you tell the origin of this scroll?" Confidence rippled within his eyes and no other result than total defense entered those. Within, one could see that belief and it made them worried. The monsters around also gathered in abundance and it would be hard for them to deal with those numbers with their classes.
Venomous ignored everything, then slithered her way towards the yellow formation, "I can tell about its origin," She said and didn't stop meaning that her belief to break this formation was higher!
Her sword became like a snake as she thrust it!
The target was someone that Michu, Sandra, and Lazy Bum had the pleasure to work with. It was the tank that was arguably lazier than Lazy Bum in this dungeon, so the archer snickered and awaited for his fall.
Looking at this tank, everyone could see his stiffened lips. Those were trembling, trembling faintly as if he wanted to say something all this time. His eyes dilated in shock when Venomous chose him as the target.

Once her tip touched the yellow hue, cracks spread from it and swept through the tank's whole shield. In the next second, it burst out into myriad particles that rained upon the shocked face.
A sword didn't plan to stop here, though. As it left a dent on the shield, Venomous pushed the man forward as if kicking him. He couldn't even fight this force and his body flew straight into Red Stigma whose arms had yet to return.
The tank bumped into a swordsman, then both of them fell onto the ground.
But what hit harder was the disbelief within their hearts rather than this fall.
"How?!" Red Stigma roared, his legs waving to kick off the tank who couldn't move at all. He found it weird and immediately questioned, but Venomous stepped in like the queen and looked at the fallen with a side glance.
She replied with a devilish smile, "You are so fascinated with the idea of using everything that you ended up using one of my potions I gave you. Let me think about it… For a person like you, the idea of using us already left you thrilled, so even taking potions from me probably left you with a hard-on. Ah, those idiots will fall and they also give me their potions for free; how nice - something like this?"
"Bitch! You aren't even level 25. How can you make potions? Ah, you bought them? Haha! I wonder how much those cost you!" There was no chance for Venomous to survive this dungeon!
She would die without even gaining anything, so Red Stigma taunted her with the costs.
Her answer left him stunned, though, "I made those by myself and got ingredients from one of the magicians."
"How can you make potions without subclass…" The disbelief continued to spread on the swordsman's face. He nearly fainted when Venomous called him out.
She said, "Even you can be an alchemist without subclass. Take out your dick, piss into the pot and here you have two liquids mixed. What a moron… Follow your big brother from that guild and continue to be his slave." You didn't have to be a gardener to have a garden. You just wouldn't have abilities related to it and your garden arguably wouldn't match the royal ones.
But nothing stopped you from digging and sowing.
Venomous had her path, her eyes set on various subclasses. She made moves from the beginning and formed relationships with many NPCs. Unlike her, Red Stigma enjoyed the advantage he got by following 'big brother' and he was at a loss after his wall fell.

DISCLAIMER: The characters in this story are inspired by the background of the Warhammer 40,000 intellectual property that belongs to Games Workshop Ltd. This is fan fiction, and no challenge to their ownership rights is intended. Goge Vandire is a name written in to the annals of Imperial history in blood. Often literally. No single mortal has commanded authority on the scale at which he exercised it at his height. His name is as synonymous with unspeakable evil as that of the Warmaster, Horus himself. And yet he was just a man. Where did such a man come from? What drove him to the steps he took to secure power to himself and, once he had it, how did he come to misuse it so grievously? I have scoured the records - many of them once thought lost or placed under the unbreakable seal of the Inquisition - to uncover his forgotten story, piecing together his childhood, his apprenticeship, his rise to power and his descent into madness and death. It is not the story you might expect...

My father scolds me sharply. I flinch at the anger in his voice and quickly retract my hand, inches from the trunk of the tree. "Sorry father, I couldn't help it. The trees are just so beautiful," I whine turning towards him. His face softens slightly and he scoops me up into his muscled arms. I wrap my small arms around his neck and bury my face into his shoulder. He hugs me tightly and carries me away from the forest. "Why can't we go into the forest?" I ask, looking over his shoulder to see the red and gold leaves slowly disappear from view as we climb the hill. "The forest is a dangerous place," he sighs. "How can something so beautiful be so dangerous?" I mutter in confusion. "The danger is in its beauty."**Cover by SodaliteSilver**
