The Mysterious Black Magician Chapter 295

Upon getting up, the audience expected another clash right away, but surprisingly, Jugo remained in his position and did not charge on the guy with the alias of Crimson. This action of him surprised everyone.
He most of the time took the initiative to charge on his enemy. Yet, this time, he chose to remain on his feet!
Even Jugo's friends were baffled by it. Rei-Rei and the others were asking about Jugo's action. None of them could give definite conclusion, though they were certain that Jugo was planning something. But still, it was not like him that he remained standing.
In their minds, Jugo was the type of person who was very adamant in attacking his enemy. No matter how strong his enemy, he would never give up in persevering. If his attack failed once, he would attack with a more furious next— more furious and more powerful. Jugo was just that type of person.
And so, why did Jugo give up on taking the initiative this time? Is his enemy that strong? No way! No way! His friends started to question inwardly.
Looking from others' perspective, it seemed like his enemy's attack wasn't so strong, typical of a person in a lower class. Since Yman's attack was done so naturally, casually, with no flashy moves, most of the audience thought it was a normal attack only that lacked power. In truth, they were puzzled as to how those weak-looking attacks were able to send Jugo away. Those attacks didn't even look powerful in the audience's eyes.
But it was different from Jugo's perspective, only Jugo knew the power behind those normal-looking attacks. Even now, his body was aching. He was just enduring the pain, to put up a brave face. He was about to faint a while ago. Thanks to the resilient body of being a wolfman, his tolerance against pain was quite higher than most of the other races, especially humans.

Damn, this enemy of his was so weird. He looked like someone who could not squash a fly. Yet, behind that nonchalant face of his was a scary strength. Jugo didn't want to admit it, but his enemy wasn't ordinary. Especially after surviving that combo of attacks from him. No weak person could come out unscathed with that attack of Jugo.
Also, how was this person able to catch him? His speed wasn't only for show. Even in the Elite Class, only Miss Almina Amulet could contend with his speed. But this opponent was able to land a hit on him like it was a natural thing!
He wanted to vomit blood.
Jugo had to say this, 'The scariest enemy was those with a nonchalant face. It's difficult to read them, and difficult to guess what they do next. Ptui!' Jugo thought then spat bloody saliva.
Regardless, he started to question whether this guy was the same person who was mocked by the other humans.
"You're all wrong. Jugo was hurt by those attacks from his opponent," Rei-Rei and the others suddenly heard one of them say.
"W-What do you mean, Ban?" Asked Sonya.
"Admittedly, that enemy of his isn't just an ordinary guy. Though his attacks looked so normal, the power behind those attacks could rival the power of the elite students."
"What!" Everyone exclaimed in shock upon hearing the bunny man, Ban. Among all of them, Ban had the most acute sensory. So, they believed his assessment.
"Wasn't that person who couldn't even light the bulb on the first day of the test?" Asked Rei-Rei.
"Oh, now that you mentioned it, Rei-Rei. I remember him now!" Sonya exclaimed. "Wait, it was surprising that Miss Rei-Rei remembered that person…" suddenly added Sonya in a little teasing tone.

Rei-Rei sighed and did not give a serious response to Sonya's words. However, in her mind, 'Is it the reason that Almina Amulet was so into him?' She started to build a suspicion. He looked at Yman and squinted her eyes.
"So, that person was hiding his strength the whole time?" Klein, the other wolfman in their party, suddenly interjected.
"Looks like that, however, no matter how strong his enemy, Jugo would never lose!" Replied Ban with a determined face.
After hearing his reply, the others fixed their eyes on Jugo's figure on the monitor. At this moment, Jugo was standing still with his hands in front of his lower torso. His right hand was slightly curled facing down, while underneath it was his left hand facing upward.
"C-Could it be—" Rei-Rei muttered.
"Hehe, yeah, he was about to activate his Prime State!" Ban grinned and announced.
"Prime State?" Sonya asked.
"It is a strong technique that increases all the user's stats, giving the user peak condition!" Klein was the one who replied.
The bracelets in Jugo's arms and legs started to shine once again. Then a second later, in the middle of his hands, a spec of scarlet magical energy materialized.
The scarlet magical energy became bigger and bigger until a chain-like scarlet color appeared around him, but everyone noticed the chain showed cracks the next second. Everyone gaped. Seconds later, the scarlet chain broke and dissipated, but in exchange, a strong scarlet aura burst out from Jugo's body.
Even the invisible barrier shook terribly with just the pressure from the aura alone.
"What is happening?" A random audience asked in confusion a little worried that the barrier would break.
The scarlet aura swallowed Jugo's figure. However, when the scarlet aura disappeared, Jugo was still in his current position. Though at the moment, a glimmering, scarlet set of armor was apparent on his body. He was now clad in scarlet armor.
"Now, that is unexpected, that person must be from the Sanguine Family…" Yana suddenly heard Rea mutter.
"San...guine family?" Yana repeated.
Rea glanced at her, "It is the third family of the Canine Sect," she replied.
"Canine sect?" It further confused her. It was the first time that Yana heard of such a family. "Is it a famous family?" Yana added.
Rea gaped before opening her mouth once again. "Yes, the Sanguine family is well-known in the empire."
Yana knitted her brows. It further confused her. "Uhm, Miss Rea, do you mean the Encantasia Empire, right?" Yana asked once again. Miss Pai once mentioned to her about it. She noticed Rea made a nod. "Is Miss Rea from the Empire?" Rea didn't answer directly, but later, she nodded. She noticed Yana wearing sparkling eyes while staring at her.
She was a little opposite to Crimson. Rea thought.
