The Mysterious Black Magician Chapter 292

(A/N: There is a mistake in the last chapter. Yana meant to say Moderator instead of Channeler. I edited it already.)
Yman did something awesome for landing a hit to his elite opponent, however, most of the trainees thought that it was a lucky hit. Chloe and Bob also thought the same. If not lucky what else could it be? Even if Yman had become stronger after his disappearance, it was unthinkable that he surpassed an elite so suddenly. It was impossible. There was a reason why those elites were elites. They have exceptional growth compared to those non-elites.
Yana had no idea what her brother was like inside the academy. But she did not need to see it with her eyes to know. She could feel that her brother was not doing good in the academy just by looking at his beat-up face whenever he came back from it. Furthermore, she was surprised as well that her brother could still fight an opponent that she heard was a student with a higher potential than him.
But if ever her suspicion about him was right, about being one of the Moderators, then perhaps he could win. She had no idea how strong an elite student was. But she was certain that her brother had low physical strength. So, to win the fight, he needed to depend on his special ability, the Time Warp that Miss Rea spoke of.
But for Yana, no matter what happened, Yman was the coolest big brother she ever had, and she was proud to have him as her brother.
"Big bro… Fight!"
"Eh?"
Yana cheered and Rea was slightly surprised. She glanced and saw Yana cupping her hands on her chest. She must be praying for her brother's success. Rea smiled at the warm feeling that transpired. She was happy that Crimson has a lovable sister.

"Don't worry, Yana. There's no way that guy will lose," Yana suddenly heard Rea say. Yana was surprised at Rea's words because it brought a feeling that Rea was certain that her brother, Yman, would never lose for certain. She had no idea what relationship his brother had with Miss Rea, but the way Rea said it told her that the two of them had an understanding of each other.
Yana was so happy that her brother found a friend that trusted him, no wonder he looks different now.
While Yana was contemplating, the audience cheered once again. On the stage, Jugo launched another attack on Yman. This time he did not use a charging attack, instead, he engaged him in a melee. Jugo, although most of the time acting like a muscle brain, would quickly gear up when he thought something was amiss. Especially that it was already two times that his attack was evaded by this opponent of his.
He was not looking at him equally or highly, rather, he was looking down on his opponent. Just that, his wolfman instinct was telling him that he needed to change the way he was fighting, if not, it might be a huge, unredeemable blunder if he keeps messing up.
"Yar, yar, yar!"
Jugo sent multiple slashes that could tear his opponent to pieces if ever one successfully hit. Fueled by hype coming from the audiences, Jugo increased his speed. It was like the air was raining with scratch marks. More and more scratch marks were accumulating in the air. Before the first one disappeared, one or two came marks came ahead. After a few seconds, the noise coming from the cheers was gradually diminishing. Everyone held their breath from the intensity of Jugo's attack.
SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! Slashing sounds were noticeable at the very moment.

But, despite Jugo's relentless, rapid attack, they noticed something weird. Even the VIPs in the VIP room and participants in the waiting hall were puzzled as to why Jugo's attacks were continually missing. Even the most unperceptive type of person, Bob, noticed it.
"Do Jugo's attacks slow or what?" Bob asked in a voice a little louder than a whisper. Though he knew that it was an absurd question since it was obvious just by looking at the fight that Jugo's attacks were not a bit slow. They were so fast that one would doubt if they saw when he lifted his hands.
However, no one mocked Bob's question as they also had the same feeling as him towards the fight. They were as surprised and doubtful as him. They doubted how in the weird chance that Yman was still intact?! How he managed to evade and dodge those fast-paced and sure kill attacks.
Noticing the weird outcome, Jugo increased the magical aura that was exuding on each of his hands. He did it to increase the power and speed. The more magical aura they summon the more powerful they become. They only needed to hide it when they had to act stealthily or when they were reserving their magical aura. Even so, none of his attacks ever land on his enemy. How is this possible? All fell silent that even the fall of a needle can be pretty much perceivable.
Jugo himself had started to feel something was not right. It was already almost a minute that he threw relentless fury of slashing attacks, yet. His enemy seemed to evade it luckily. No! Everyone could tell that Yman dodged it skillfully.
"I-Impossible…" One of Kiko's friends muttered with eyes. Although they were not admiring Jugo's skills. But his speed was no joke.
Bang!
The next thing they noticed; they all heard a dull sound.
Then they saw the figure of Jugo slowly fall. A second later, they saw him groveling on the floor.
"W-What had just happened?" Sonya asked in wonder, puzzled as to why it was Jugo again who looked so pained.
Rei-Rei and the others narrowed their eyes at Jugo's opponent. How was that guy able to outfight the furious Jugo? All of them had the same question in their minds. Not even those high-level monsters inside the dungeon were a match on Jugo. But this person was able to corner him that much. In fact, it was like a child trying to throw inaccurate punches. Not even them could evade five of Jugo's rapid attacks.
Even though still in pain, Jugo did not wait for the enemy follow-up attack. He forced his body to stand. His feet subconsciously leaped backward when he noticed the approaching punch of his enemy. However, although he avoided getting hit by it, it did not make him happy. How can he be so happy after his shameful retreat?

Ode to Freud
For those who do not understand the reference, "wish fulfillment" is before anything a term created by Sigmund Freud in the 1900's. In psychology it is a state of satisfying unconscious needs and desires by the use of fantasy and delusion. In literature it is the very base of fictional work, but also the name of a style of writing where the author sacrifices the key elements of good storytelling in order to fulfill his own psychopathic, neurotic or perverse needs and desires, usually through the use of the characters in weird and forced situations. What I meant by the title of this story is that it is a trashy, badly written, shitty story about me getting some wish fulfillment by the use of some characters and a fictional world of my creation. Not the good kind of fulfillment, since my wishes are of the bad kind and I intend to fulfill those, not yours. Also, being a total amateur and not writing a proper plot before starting are two big indicators that this story is going to go bad. I guess Royal Road call this kind of stories the "Mary Sue" kind. So, unless you are a very ugly piece of trash (at least as much as I am) don’t bother reading it. Now, if you ARE messed up on the level of a clinically depressive, lightly suicidal, lolicon/shotacon aligned morbidly obese hikikomori vermin who sold his virginity to a prostitute and is currently living at the costs of his widowed mother after expending all the money he got from his father’s inheritance, all the while masturbating furiously to beast/furry dickgirl hentai, then be welcomed. Please feel free to get a serving at my antidepressants and also at the canned tuna I have stored in the fridge. There may be some cheese somewhere, and I am pretty sure I bought some juice the other day, but I have no idea where it is. Anyway. You may dislike what I write because of all the amauteur(ish) writing, or you may not. Who knows. Give it a try and write a comment. It gets lonely writing to no one. Also, feel free to grant me inspiration not only by making comments about the world and/or characters, but specially by suggesting a music for me to listen while I write the next chapter. Be warned : I do get influenced easily by the background music I listen while writing. If you exist, of course. I'm seriously doubting anyone has read anything after the "lolicon hikikomori" thing. Also, I have a tiny dick.Just so you can feel better about yourself a little more. Or maybe I have just degraded psychologically a little more and now I am into shame-play. I wonder if the psychiatrist would increase my meds a bit if I told her about it.Hope I never get to penispanick, though! Self-mutilation, especially of the castration type, would be baaaad. After all, I do like my prostitutes. And having sex with them when I can afford it. Oh, yeah, the story. I will just write the first chapter in a few moments.Until later, b(i)each.
