After leaving the Virtual Arena, Yman woke up to his room. But weirdly, he received many notifications from his 5d-Seer.

As expected, when he opened it, a smile was on his face. The number of people who sent him gifts had increased.

"What!!?" One of them almost had his jaw dropped on the floor. "O-One hundred thousand Ranker Points?!" Yman exclaimed in surprise. His heartbeat started to pound faster than usual.

He could not believe that someone would give such a huge amount. "Sweet Bun?" He read the name of the person who gifted him.

Yman wondered who it was. He could not remember knowing such a person. Aside from that, based on the person's name, Yman believed that she must be a woman and also a Ranker; because it was hard to believe that someone had a real name like that.

With this amount of Ranker Points, he believed it was more than enough to pay the borrowed points from Rea's department. Also, he got rich loot from that enemy he fought with just a moment ago.

Fufu, Yman mischievously laughed. If he sold those items later, he would surely get rich amounts of points.

Most of the gifts had the amount of five to ten thousand points. Only that one hundred thousand was different.

Wait, Yman pondered. Perhaps someone bet on his match? That amount of points was just unbelievable to gift. He assumed and believed that it might be the reason.

After confirming the time, he stood up and picked his Deity, who was soundlessly sleeping.

After stretching his hands, he got up and left the room.

A minute later, "Whoa--!!" Rea, who just got out of the building, was startled when someone jumped in front of her.

"Relax, it's me." Upon hearing his voice, she calmed down. "Are you trying to give me a heart attack?!"

"Not until I get the full payment of being your bodyguard." He teased.

Tears were visible in her eyes. "Does that mean… you didn't care if I got a heart attack?" For some reason, he felt like Rea was taking his words seriously.

"That's a joke… Of course, it's better that you are safe from any illness." He said to ease her.

"Hmph! Eyma…" Rea mumbled. "Haha—" Yman laughed descendingly at her reaction before he noticed something. 'Wait, Eyma?' He thought while blinking his eyes. Then, he stared at her and noticed her pouty face. "Sorry for startling you," he added.

Rea slightly widened her eyes. Never she expected to get a sorry from this man. "A-Ahem…" she cleared her throat. Her face flushed with slight redness.

"What's the matter?" She asked.

"I've got enough points to pay your department."

"R-Really?"

She was surprised after hearing it. Although five thousand points wasn't that big of an amount, it wasn't easy to earn, especially that he was a newbie Ranker only.

The two of them rode on his fire doll.

Rea was surprised once again. "Where are we going?" She asked when she noticed they were moving in a different direction.

"Ah, I feel hungry," he replied while touching his stomach.

"Did the Inn not feed you!?" Rea asked in haste. That Inn was one of the luxury Inns and had expensive rent. But together with the expensive rent was the free buffet three times a day. Not just that, it was an eat all you can buffet. So it was surprising to hear that he was still hungry.

"I mean… I wanted to taste something different today. I accidentally found a great pub to eat at. They serve good food there…"

"Wait, what was happening?"

While Yman was telling her about the pub he found after coming to this Academy, he heard Rea asked in a worried voice.

Yman stopped talking and glanced to where Rea was starting at.

Ahead of them, they saw many people gathering below, and some were flying in a flock towards one direction, rode on their flying stick.

"Department of Security?" He mumbled.

"Yeah, they are the people from the department of security!" Rea seemed to hear him. "But why are they gathering? And they seemed to be in haste," Rea said with doubts.

Yman squinted his eyes. "They must be taking measures about the incoming danger," he said. Rea glanced at him. "Do you mean… They already knew about the mountain?" She asked him.

Yman nodded in reply. "Wait, where are we going?" She asked when she noticed he changed their route.

"Let's find out first what they are planning to do." He said and tailed the people from the Department of Security. He was following them from a safe distance.

Rea and Yman landed about a hundred meters away from where the people of the Department of Security had landed.

"They are blocking the road?" Rea asked after.

"Perhaps, they are restricting it!"

Just then, Yman noticed something drifting not far from them.

He turned away his eyes from the people of the Department of Security and directed them on the drifting object in the air.

'What is that,' he thought.

Suddenly, Sistela spoke while flying beside his face. "Ow, you're awake." He said. He was storing her underneath his academy uniform and did not bother to wake her.

Aside from that, he heard her saying a wisp. Rea looked at them. Sistela pointed out the direction of the Wisp.

"What is that?" Rea asked.

Sistela answered. she added.

Rea saw a flying object chased by monsters that looked like a flying worm. But for some reason, those worms had beaks!

"Okay!"

After saying it, the two immediately used Resonance.

Yman took some tree branches and fortified them. Without wasting time, he fired three branches enveloped by a bright crimson aura towards the big beak worms.
