The Mysterious Black Magician Chapter 163

"What was that?" The words subconsciously left his mouth as he stared below.
A huge figure of a beast that clearly looks like a gorilla was running amok. It jumped so high and landed on the alleyway that shook the place. Some segments of the wall turned to rubble immediately. No! It destroyed the relative buildings.
A group of people in black clothing went into a stop after the monster appeared in front of them.
They were the people who talied them, they were the one sending ill-intent towards him and Rea.
Seeing it that they came to the alleyway, he understood that the enemy was planning to cut their escape route, while some of their men were surrounding the place.
However, their plan was already a big failure when they failed to detect the second party. More on that, their plan backfired when the huge beast appeared before them.
After the huge beast landed on the ground, those people in black clothing decided to retreat but some of them were caught and crashed in the big gorilla's hands. Those who were able to evade the beast was able to leap on the roof. But found themselves surrounded by those other groups.
Yman could not hear what they were talking about. But it looks like they were arguing. He then sent the scout bee towards them.
On the other hand,
The people in the area started running aimlessly. They were shouting, "earthquake! Help!"
The bustling market suddenly went into a mess. Looking at it from above, they look like scuttering ants.
Oooooohhhhhhooooorrrrrr!!!
The huge gorilla beast let out a loud shrill.
"An Abnormality!" Rea exclaimed upon looking below.
"Abnormality?" He repeated her word.
"Yes! They called it that because they abnormally evolve."
"Abnormal evolution? It isn't a natural occurrence?"
"No! It is not!"
Yman narrowed his eyes.
"So is it the first time that it happened?," Yman whispered to himself but Rea beside him heard his words.

"No, the first one appeared was last three months ago," she slowly frowned. "The beast almost destroyed the whole town on the southern part of the empire. Good thing that one of the Experts from the great family able to tame it."
"Tame?" This was a surprising term for Yman. "A beast like that could be tamed?"
"Yes, as long as you have a medium to seal the soul of the beast and make a contract with it!" Rea answered with a frown.
"Hmm, do you perhaps mean the Artefact?" He was in the dark about this item. However, he was intrigued by it.
"Yes!"
"I see," His reply. He wanted to ask more about it. But Yman felt that it wasn't the right time to talk.
He glanced at her.
After hearing her explanation, he pondered, 'An abnormal evolution, huh. Wait, why does it sound so familiar?' He asked inwardly. 'Wasn't it also happened in the Underground Channel of Human City? Those Noble Rats abnormally evolved in great numbers.``
Then he noticed that his Hell Chaser Bird also became bigger. 'Could it be related to it?' He wondered.
But unlike the gorilla beast below, his Hell Chaser Bird looks more normal. Only its size had changed.
The huge gorilla below looked like a deformed beast.
It has 2 heads and 4 arms, it also exuded an aura of a high-level Spirit Beast.
"In any case, will it be okay?"
Yman's pondering came to a stop when he heard the person beside him asking. He glanced below and replied, "I'm sure some people already reported it," he replied. Besides it wasn't his job to defeat that beast. And Yman knew that many high-level experts were present below. So he was sure that they would do something about it. And he also noticed some soldiers and guards running towards the area.

But it seemed Rea meant another thing from her words. "I mean… those people below."
He realized that Rea was meaning to say about the people battling below.
He scratched his face.
"Ah, you don't need to concern yourself towards them. It was their fight," he said. After all, as a bodyguard, his only concern was her safety.
Now that his bee is able to get closer to them, he was able to hear what they were talking about. Yman finally understood about those second parties. "Looks like those people are tasked to capture those shady groups," he added.
Rea glanced at him in surprise. She was wondering if he was telling the truth or just his hunch. Yet his eyes and tone was saying that he was certain with his words.
"How can it be?" The silent-mutter unintentionally became louder which reached his ears.
"Mm?" Yman asked in puzzlement from her words.
"No no no, nothing…" Rea realized she voiced out her surprised.
"....."
The two of them stared at each other in a loss of words.
They both blinked their eyes, wondering what to say. Yman thought it was an awkward situation.
"Uhm… Big Sis, Big Brother… where are we going?" They heard the kid Rabbitman.
"Eh?" Rea immediately darted her eyes away from Crimson. She looked behind and saw the two kids were staring at them with skeptical faces.
"We need to bring them into a safe place," Rea suggested.
"Mhm!" He nodded then maneuvered the bird away from the area.
After Yman and Rea left the area,
Scar, Fang, and the other members of their group were being surrounded by the group of Captain Bbear.
"Give up! It was inevitable for you to struggle any longer," said Captain Bbear. Behind him, multiple giant needles were aiming to the three in the middle.
"Shit! How come it turned out like this!" Fang grunted.
"What will we do, Boss?" Said Fang as he was warily gazing at the people around them.
"Contact the back up…" Scar whispered in an inaudible voice.
But.
"Captain, I received a report from Miss Shawter. They successfully eliminated the other group of enemies," Precarious reported.
"What—!"
Upon hearing his words, Scar felt like his plan was spoiled.
A grimace finally visible on his face. Captain Bbear on the other hand grinned broadly. "It's a checkmate!" He said in a cold voice.
But looks like luck was on his side.
One of his men, the third person together with him and Fang whispered in his ears. "Boss, hold!" The person shouted.
Scar and Fang glanced at the person's hand and noticed a bluish crystal ball.
"A Teleportation Crystal?!"
They exclaimed.
Captain frowned upon seeing it. He wondered how that person got such a very expensive material.
"No, catch them!" He immediately ordered.
"Damn it!" Said Precarious as he charged forward to capture the surrounded enemy.
But before they reached their position, the three people in black clothing disappeared.
"Tsk!" Captain Bbear clicked his tongue.
"Sorry Cap, they managed to escape," said one of his men.
"Well, it was unexpected that one of them had such a precious item," he replied in regret.
Sigh.
Captain Bbear waved his hand to get rid of the magical needles behind him.
"How about that, Captain!" Precarious pointed to the huge beast.
He narrowed his eyes before saying, "Let the expert in handling a beast deal with it. It's not our task to fight with it."
Precarious and the others nodded.
"Let's go!" After saying it, their silhouette instantly vanished.

Bitter
The story of a girl who finds her life is not what she wanted. So she gets another one. Schedule: Story has been completed. Book One is available free on Amazon and EPUB. Books Two to Five are out now. Final Book out soon. Chapters will be around 500-1000 words. This will not change so if you don't like reading very short chapters wait till the end of the week or even end of the month. This many chapters a week isn't easy to pull off so please bear that in mind. This is a VRMMORPG story, but the ones I've read tend to use VR as an excuse to get into a fantasy world and then don't really play up the game aspect other than pulling up a status screen every now and then. To me, MMOs are about more than the fantasy setting. Bugs, exploits, devs who don't understand their own game, OP classes, over the top nerfs, p2w, ridiculous RNG, cash shop fiasco, lockboxes, raging players, broken mechanics, limited bag space, tedious crafting and above all that, a company trying to squeeze money out if its playerbase while pretending they're just in the business of having fun. Of course, then there's the orcs and elves. This story is about finding yourself in a completely immersive fantasy game, but it's also about what a game like that would really be like.
