The Mysterious Black Magician Chapter 110

Yman's eyes were peeking under the hood while staring at the night sky.
Many stars were blinking on it. He wondered if after they get out here, would he feel hungry again? That food meat he ate a moment ago seemed real. But he knew that everything in this world was just an illusion. It was made of magical power.
He found himself unable to stop admiring this world. No, what he was admired was the magical power that Miss Ella wielded.
Sigh.
Currently, he was not in resonance, and Sistela was hiding in his hood.
They needed to save her battery as they could not use their spare ones. And mostly, they would cancel their resonance at night.
Many Monitoring Devices passed by in the air above him.
They must be searching for some interesting scenes.
Underneath the hood, Yman's mouth curled upward.
Then his vision was enveloped by darkness upon closing his eyes.
The people in the real world just gawked at the sight of him soundlessly sleeping in the open while lighting a bonfire.
"Holy, does that guy know how to hide?!"
"Lmao, he is in the open, and still has the guts to light a bonfire. Is he attracting danger to himself?!"
"Hahaha, that guy is just too lax! I admired him for saving Miss Ella awhile ago, but it looks like he wasn't that great, to be honest."
Some of the audiences exclaimed.
The next second, one of the Monitoring Devices caught a participant deliberately crawling under the grasses, towards the tree to where that person was sleeping.
Most of the audience snickered while shaking their heads.
The person who was slowly approaching had a bow in hand.
Then he was caught in the camera positioned himself in a half-kneeling state, he lifted the bow in hand and positioned it at his front.
The people currently watching it didn't know whether to laugh or cry.
"Hahaha!"
"That guy is too defenseless!"
The audience laughs at him.
Ella in the balcony didn't know what she should feel.
She wanted to warn him, but how?
The empress forced a smile at her niece's silence. She probably was thinking of his carefree behavior.
Almina and the others knitted their brows, wondering what was the deal with that person. For some reason, her eyes couldn't take away from him. Like, there was some kind of invisible force forcing her to stare at him.
Inside the barracks, Bob and the other's just stared at the whole panel, but when they noticed a ranger aiming his bow at the person sleeping beside the bonfire, they couldn't help force a laugh.

They wondered if that guy was too tired that he had the leisure to sleep in such a conspicuous place.
"Hahaha, I never imagine there is such a guy as idiot as him in the Encantasia!" Laughed Marco.
"Hehehe, Kiko dude was right, Demi-Humans are simple-minded people!" Followed by Bruno.
"Gyahaha! My stomach hurts laughing at that dumbass!" Their other friend added.
"Pffft!" Kiko trying to hold his laughter.
Inside a pub, Kiko and his friends were mockingly laughing while shaking their heads at the person sleeping in the open.
The ranger materialized an arrow in his hand and his mouth broke into a grin.
'Hehe, easy points. Those guys who died early have no brains. They never thought that it's better to hunt at night, Kuku. Look at this idiot here. Does he think that all of the participants will just go and sleep? Tsk, why these amateurs even bothered joining this competition. Well, maybe her majesty knew that it would come up to this, that's why she designed this kind of elimination. To clean up this messy amateur who lowered the quality of this competition. Fufu, only the strong had the ability to qualify for the next round. And….. Amateur like you shall die!' He thought with a soundless laugh.
After aiming the tip of the arrow to the person's head, *Twang!* he hastily released the arrow.
Watching the arrow fly towards the unaware person, his grin slowly became broader until it evolved into a toothy grin.
The arrow directly hit — Fwoosh!
"!!"
"The heck!" An utterance escaped from his mouth upon seeing the arrow was snapped before it pierced the enemy's scalp.
"!!"
"!!"
"!!"
Everyone was dumbfounded. "Kuku." Then they heard a chuckle.
They saw him slowly getting up until he stood, in his hand was the arrow he snapped. As he gripped on it and crushed within his palm.
He glanced at the direction where the person shot him.
"What the—," one of the audience uttered.
The ranger had a shocked face. Then he saw the person in front of him about 30 meters away from him.
Glanced at him in slow-mo. "Kuku, if you wanted to sneak an attack, at least masked your intent as I have eyes around me," said the person.
The ranger frowned after he heard him. Then he felt danger for himself.
Without waiting for that person to take a step forward, Twang, twang, twang!

Three magical arrows flew. It was made of pure mana energy.
Fwoosh! Fwoosh! Swoosh! He again snapped the two arrows and tilted his head to avoid the last one.
Everyone had their mouth open wide.
"He caught an arrow?!" Finally, someone among the crowd of people cried out in disbelief. It was followed by bees like murmurs.
The empress and Ella also fell silent as their eyes were focused on the monitor.
Kiko and his friends immediately went silent as they didn't expect that this person could catch an arrow in that ideal distance for a ranger. Their faces had bitter expressions as they felt they just ate their own mocking words.
"Woah, that person is so damn insane. Look, how he caught the magical arrows barehanded!" Inside the barracks, Bob exclaimed.
"Right, it was insane to catch it without coating your hand with mana to shield from its magical damage," said Chloe.
"Hmm, either that person is insane, or he has high magic resistance in the first place," Mai explained.
Bob and Chloe agreed.
Almina, Maena, and Ice narrowed their eyes, they could already guess what happened. They believed that he had high perception and high defensive stats. On top of that, wasn't he able to cancel his enemy's magical attack? So it wasn't really surprising if he caught the magical arrows.
But the battle between the two had just started so everyone focused their eyes on the monitor as they were watching on the same channel.
"Resonance," after he whispered he walked slowly while catching and dodging the fired arrows. Seeing it, the ranger felt perspired. But as a veteran warrior, he didn't stop firing as more and more arrows departed from his bow and tore the space between him and his enemy.
After the third step, the ranger noticed the enemy in front of him kick the ground as he dashed forward.
Twang, twang, twang! More arrows were flying rapidly.
But his enemy jumped in the air to cut their distance. The ranger, as a veteran warrior, leaped back to increase their distance while nonstop firing arrows at him.
The ranger grinned, as the rapid-fire of arrows traveled accurately. Although his enemy could catch it if he shot him in different parts of his body he was sure that if not three or two, one of them would surely hit the enemy.
Yman grinned. Then he used [Air Dance] to avoid the barrage of attack.
Even in midair, his body made a front flip and rolled rapidly in the air towards the ranger enemy.
"!!"
"How is that possible?" The bow user enemy muttered.
After a rapid roll, he was finally above him. He saw the bowman aimed his weapon at him, but before he could fire it.
Yman's silhouette disappeared. The enemy scanned his surroundings to find him.
[Rapid Leap] A soft whisper tickled his ears. It came from his back. He abruptly turned around but he felt the world seemed turned over.
A moment later, his vision rotates! And… and… and he saw his body… with his back facing the enemy's back!
Wait! What?! How come his body over there!?
He was late to realize that he was decapitated by that person!
His head with a shocked face fell on the ground and it bounced several times before it turned into light particles. The same time when his head turned into light particles that his body also became light particles.
[You obtained 300 points for killing the participant 0154]
"I see, so it was like that ha…" Yman whispered.
The audience from different places went into deep silence. Every one of them could not believe what they just saw. That person mercilessly decapitated his enemy! And what the heck he did?! He caught the arrows! Well, wasn't he the person who canceled the terrorist magical attack awhile ago? So what was the point of getting surprised about it? Maybe he just wanted to loaf around and appreciate the view in that world. This was what everyone thought at the moment.
"Fufufu, as expected, he really was an interesting person," muttered the empress.
"Ahaha, but why does he have to be so cruel?" Ella forced a laugh. She wondered why that person had to do it like that. Good thing that she added restrictions and censored some gruesome parts for the children viewers. But even so, it was clear to them what he did at that time.
The empress smiled at her as she could read what she thought based on the expression written on her niece's face.
Almina's doubt towards that person grew stronger every time he did something. Whatever he did reminded her of Yman. Like how merciless Yman was at killing the Evil Rat in the Underground Channel that time.
The next morning...
