"Ssshhh, lower your voice, Mr. Cal. We are going for a rescue mission." Said Almina as she sneak-in inside the medical tent where Yman was currently laying.
"!!" Mr. Cal was puzzled. He wondered who was in need of rescue here.
Cal mumbled. He added while shaking his metallic tiny head, and lifted his robotic hands at both sides.
Noticing that there's no other person inside, she breathed a sigh of relief and hurriedly ran to the side of the resting person.
Almina stared at his sleeping face. She could not believe that she had the chance to stare at him this close.
In her mind, she thought that he was so tired just looking at how messed-up he looks at the moment. His breathing was deep and his eyes seemed like he had a lack of sleep. Almina felt something poking her heart seeing how tired he looked. She wanted to help him.
Almina was unaware that at the moment, her face was burning in red. But while looking at his resting face, she couldn't avert her eyes anymore, until her face slowly moved on its own towards the sleeping face of Yman. Her throat made a slight movement when she gulped and cleared something in it.
She felt like some invisible magnetic force was pulling her face towards him, and was inside a separate world where no one inside except the two of them. His words that day are still fresh in her memories.
The scene of that certain day had automatically replayed in her memory, their first encounter.
Five-years-old Almina was sitting on her usual seat in the park. Being the daughter of the famous Amulet family, she was treated like a princess. Ten maids would follow her wherever she goes. Only at school that she could find herself breathing away from her maids.

Yet even in school, she was always surrounded by friends. There's really no space for her to be alone.
However, on that specific day, as usual, together with her friends, they went to the park to play. Almina lost track of time, and the sun started to set. Her friends started to say goodbye and left one after another. When Almina finally left alone, she noticed that the surrounding was already dark. And now she was alone inside the park. When she checked the time on a watch inside her shoulder bag, it was written 6:10 pm.
At a young age, she was always afraid of the dark. Almina was so afraid to move; therefore, she remained in her position while sobbing.
A moment later, she heard an eerie growling sound from behind her.
Almina slowly glanced behind, but what greeted her was two red eyes, dripping in sticky saliva razor-sharp fangs. And a smell of rotting flesh and blood.
"H-Hybrid Mad Do —" after muttering such words she lost her consciousness in too much fear.
What follows next, she was awakened by the sensation of something touching her lips. When she opened her eyes, she was greeted by a pair of shocked wide eyes of a young boy while his lips were on top of her.
Almina blinks twice. The boy immediately separated himself and told her... that he was trying to wake her up because it was almost dark but no matter what he did she was not waking up, hearing it, Almina immediately glanced around and noticed that the surrounding was still not dark.
She checked the time on a watch inside her shoulder bag, it was still four pm and 10 minutes.
Almina did not know if to get angry by the stolen kiss or felt relieved about it.

"I'm sorry for the kiss, I just no way of waking you, and I remember a scene in the old book I happened to read from before. It was about a prince and a sleeping beauty. In order for the prince to wake up the sleeping beauty, the prince kisses her and so the sleeping beauty finally wakes up... and that's why I tried it on you. Guess it was effective..."
For some reason, the boy started telling her about an old tale from a storybook.
Almina chuckled, she wanted to get angry but she also felt relieved that he woke her up. "My name is Almina Amulet, how about you?" She reached a hand to him.
Seeing the girl not angry for his rude behavior, the boy cracked a smile and reached her hand, "I'm Yman — Yman Talisman."
After that the two of them become friends. The next days, they went into adventures of rescuing some high breed little animals and other cute pets. They always play after school.
But suddenly, Yman just left and went away one day. And Almina could not find him again. She also was recruited at the Elite school when her Hollow Cell symptoms awakened early.
And when the academy evaluation started, she checked in the website the list of names of the trainees who participated in the evaluation exam. And finally, saw his name on the list. She immediately downloaded his photo and pasted it in her room so that she won't forget.
When she saw his face, she could not believe it at first. He looks so thin, very far from the chubby face kid that she used to play with. But anyhow, those eyes that greeted her that time when she woke up from the sensation on her lips, was the same eyes he had that time. Yet, there was a tinge of hardship in it.
Her pinkish lips almost landed on his when she heard some noise coming from the outside. Almina jerked back like she just awakened.
Almina took something from her Cyber Storage, it was a vial with yellow colored liquid inside. She then tucked it inside Yman's mouth.
When the bottle was emptied, she immediately ran towards the entrance.
Right at this moment, Yman opened his eyes and noticed a leaving back of a girl and a deity. But he couldn't tell who were they since his vision was blurred.
Cal was having a puzzled face. He wondered why this girl had to leave like that. Why not pretend to be a medic though?
Cal thought once again as he followed his owner.
