The Mysterious Black Magician Chapter 33

The sun was already setting at the west when they arrived at the Human City Z7.
City lights were shining brightly from all the establishments they had passed. Yet they had noticed that even in this city, any modern vehicle was absent in this place.
Everyone directly went into their rooms that were reserved in advance. All of them were exhausted from the long travel and had no time to appreciate the place.
Each of them has their own hotel rooms allocated to them. This hotel was one of the biggest hotels in this city. For most of them, the room was decent; with a 1-bed room, a restroom, a kitchen, a sofa, and a terrace. But for Yman and his sister, this room was grander.
He had just finished taking bath and now he was sitting on a sofa while staring at the night sky through the window gap that slightly opened.
The modern vibes inside Human City were different compared to a fantasy-like Empire of Encantasya.
Yman was wondering if this world was really the second world of earth. In the morning, the sun was burning hot; while at night, the moon and stars were brightly shining.
In Yman's mind, he questioned: |Is it also mean that there was another solar system inside the earth? Even in a fantasy world such as this Innerworld, this seemed sounds absurd. But who knows right? Maybe it's true, or maybe not.|
He wondered which of these were true. Regardless, these two worlds look similar and different at the same time.
While staring at the dim sky, Yman yawned. He
could also hear his sister soft snoring sounds who was sleeping on the bed that only few steps away from the sofa.
His body felt sluggish after that long travel. Even after taking a bath, his body's fatigue already reached the limit.

Yman forced a smile. His eyes for some reason felt heavy. So he adjusted and spread his body to accommodate the sofa. As his breathing went steady and softer, his world slowly turned into the dreamland.
Morning comes pretty fast to someone unaware.
Wearing his Middle Region Magic Academy uniform, he went early to the academy.
While walking along the street, he saw some giant birds traveling across the sky. They hovered in the air as they unfolded their wings and flung every now and then. Humans or magicians were riding on top of it.
Without taking a detour, he was walking with his feet at a steady pace towards the academy. It took him about 30 minutes of walking to reach the place from the hotel room he stayed with his sister.
Before leaving his sister he already prepared all her necessities.
It just 6 in the morning but the academy training grounds already flocked by trainees.
Yman directly went into the dressing room to change for a training suit; a fitted black suit from neck to feet with protection pads on the chest, back, shoulder, elbow, and legs. And black combat boots on his feet, and gloves on his hands.
Every one of them was escorted by their deity. They were asked to line up in rows.
While searching for the row to line up, he saw some familiar faces. He noticed Kiko's friends not far from him. But Kiko not with them. They were sending piercing glances at him, like trying to melt him with their gazes.
He also noticed the blonde girl. Yman noted that she stands out within the crowds together with Miss Almina Amulet. The two of them gathered more glances from the other trainees because of how sexy they looks with this fitted suit: |Goddesses indeed.| Yman commented in his mind. Although that blonde raised her brow when she noticed him.

"Prince!" At this call, Yman felt a chill running down his spine. The voice seemed familiar to him because Yman's brows twitched after hearing it and he quickened his every step. It was the smiling guy with close eyes. For some reason, he started calling him Frog Prince after yesterday's battle. He also learned his name. It was Keremi. But Yman likes calling him a smiling guy or closed eyes dude.
"Wait, Prince!!"
The voice became louder than before. And it caught the attention of other trainees. They looked at Yman with puzzled looks. Wondering why that guy calling him 'Prince'. They wondered if he really was a prince. But looking at Yman's appearances, it's so not prince-like.
Yman felt embarrassed by everyone's attention. Almina's face warmed and felt anxious when she noticed Yman. But she felt sad that he did not even send a glance at her. She wondered if she was not that attractive.
"Yman, bro!" Suddenly, Yman heard the voice of Bob. He was lining up in one of the rows and at the back most, he was at the right side in Yman's perspective.
"My Frog Prince," Keremi called again and followed him also. Yman lined on Bob's back while Keremi lined on Yman's back.
He felt the cringe from this guy and wanted to run away. No matter how he denied him and told him not to call him that... but he still did it no matter what. Bob forced a tired smile watching these two.
Chloe was lining up on the row beside their row together with Mai.
Before Yman could run away and scaped from the smiling guy; "Everyone listen up!" A loud and powerful voice rang over the academy grounds.
All of them suddenly put their attention on the speaker.
Yman noticed that the number of trainees had increased. He also noticed some demihumans. It looks like, they were not the only trainees in this academy. There were trainees also who were natives in this world.
The speaker was wearing a training suit like the trainees. But the color of his suit was dark green.
He wore eyeglasses on his eyes and on his hands was a paper and pen. He was standing on a round stage with 30 meters radius. And the rows of trainees were surrounding it like sun rays.
A big bulb stood beside the speaker and a monitor screen with 12 inches long and 6 inches wide in front of it.
Two old men and one old woman were sitting in front of a long table behind the giant bulb. On top of the table were papers in different colors, pens, books, a bottle of water, and others...
"My name is Stone De Guz Man, head instructor of this academy..." The speaker first introduces himself.

Delve
Summary – Level 1: Delve is an isekai litrpg that follows an average guy who just happened to wake up in a forest one day. He wasn’t summoned to defeat the demon lord or to save the world or anything like that, at least as far as he can tell. The only creature there to greet him was a regular old squirrel. Soon enough, he meets other people, only to discover that he can’t speak the language, and that not everybody immediately trusts random pajama-wearing strangers they met in the middle of the wilderness. Things generally go downhill from there, at least until the blue boxes start appearing. Delve is a story about finding your way in a new, strange, and dangerous world. It’s about avoiding death, figuring out what the heck is going on, and trying to make some friends along the way. It’s not about getting home, so much as finding a new one. Did I mention that there will be math? Summary – Level 2: Okay, but what are you in for, really? Well, this story is supposed to be realistic, or at least, as realistic as a fantasy litrpg can be. The main character doesn’t instantly become an all-powerful god and murder-hobo his way across the universe. Delve is, at its heart, a progression fantasy, but that progression is meant to feel earned. The numbers in this story actually mean something. Everything is calculated, and if you find a rounding error, I expect you to tell me about it. That said, if math isn’t your cup of tea, there is plenty more that the story has to offer. Characters are meant to feel real, and progression isn’t only about personal power; it’s also about allies, connections, and above all, knowledge. Figuring out how the system works is a significant theme. ... What, you want more details? Okay, fine, but this is going to get a bit spoiler-y. Are you sure? Yes! Really sure? I mean, this summary is practically half as long as the first chap– Now! Okay, okay! The main character becomes a magic user, but he takes a route that is not very popular in adventurer culture, namely that of a support. There is a full magic system with various spells, skills, and abilities, but our MC decides that aura magic is the way to go, and that the only stat worth investing in is mana regeneration. Most people at the Adventurer’s Guild think that this makes him a bit of a dumbass, but he’s playing the long game. We’ll see how that works out for him, won’t we? Because of his build, the MC levels up fast, at least compared to normal people. There are no cheats, though, and he is limited in other ways. There are some clear and pretty obvious downsides to his build. That’s what makes it fun, no? Morals? Our MC has them. Again, we’ll see how that works out for him. Realism, remember? Would you be okay with killing someone and looting their body? I sure hope not. POV? The focus is on the main character, but there will be occasional varying perspectives from people around him, or involved in the events related to the main plot. It isn’t going to jump all over the place. Tech is standard medieval stasis. No smartphones, but the MC does have a technical background. Computers and their programming might be involved. There might even be a bit of uplifting down the road, who knows? Anyway, it isn’t the focus. He isn’t going to invent the gun in chapter 1 and change the face of warfare. Romance is not a major focus. Friendships are more the name of the game, though there will be some characters in romantic relationships. There is exploration, though not as much of the geographical nature as you might expect. It is more about exploration of the system and the culture. The pace is slow and detailed, sometimes verging on slice-of-life. The action is meant to be realistic and grounded in the numbers, and it is intended to have meaning beyond simply punching things until they stop moving. The general tone of the story is grey, and some parts can get quite dark. People die. Sometimes, people with names, but not anywhere near GoT level. There is plenty of light, too, though, to balance the darkness. The world is dangerous, but overcoming that danger is why we’re all here, isn’t it? Anyway, if you’ve made it this far through the summary, you clearly like words. I hope you enjoy the story! Cover by Miha Brumec Summary Updated: 2020-06-14
