He has 10% stamina left and he was currently pushing the boulder to drop it off of the cliff.

The boulder made a shaking motion as it slowly lifted from its position.

Instructor Goki fixed his gaze at the young man trying hard to push the boulder. Even the other trainees were watching him, they were wondering what he was doing. Not all of them were smart enough to figure his motive.

Goki had no plan to stop the battle if the one battling did not give up. This year was a vital year for the academy. So they needed to be strict at training them.

Seconds later...

GOOOOOHHHHOORRRR!!! The ground rumbles when the golems start running towards Yman's direction while howling in weird sounding noises.

Since Yman was the nearest among them all. He was the next target of those golems who he lured to Kiko's group. After Kiko gave up, they had lost their target again and needed to find a new one that was nearest them. In the end, it backfired at him. His only chance now was to drop the boulder at the cliff - faster as he could.

Kiko and his group scoffed at him. They were wishing for that person they hated the most to fall on the cliff together with those golems.

Yman's heart skipped a beat when he heard the familiar howls of the monsters. He took a quick glance at the back and saw them charging towards him. His heartbeat started racing faster - he hastily used his full strength in order to quickly drop the boulder.

Veins appearing on his face down to his neck - as he was exerting his full strength to roll the boulder. His body was shaking while he gritted his teeth.

Not good if they catch up onto him!

He noticed that Sistela was quiet for quite long. But he didn't care about it. What's important for now was to push the boulder down the cliff.

Because of the rumbling sounds, the other spectators who were not watching at him a while ago had shifted their eyes onto him.

Some were wishing for him to succeed but most of them were wishing for him to fall down the cliff, because of how bad they saw him. Especially the girl named Kesha.

Almina anxiously darted her eyes to the instructors and to Yman. She was worried about what would happen if the golems reached him first. For sure Yman would fall down the cliff if they attacked him.

Everyone was holding their breath! Each of them has different thinking at the moment.

Just a little more push to drop the boulder!

However...

Yman lost strength and tumbled face-first on the ground. He suddenly felt weak and unable to lift his arms anymore.

The resonance has been canceled unexpectedly just before he succeeded!

Looks like the Like Value of his deity towards him had dropped beyond the limit and it auto disconnected their resonance.

Sistela was surprised to find herself back as being a ball-shaped object.

When she noticed the approaching enemies, she was scared and flew in a circle above Yman's head while shouting, . But no matter how loud she shouted at him, he already lost his strength after the resonance canceled unexpectedly. His muscles became numb because of the toll brought for the sudden disconnection.

Yman forces his head to glance at the back. But what he saw were the figures of the golems growing bigger and bigger as they came closer to him.

Hearing the rumbling sound of the charging monsters like unstoppable trains, he grimaced and regretted. Now, even his mouth had no strength to talk. He could not scream to give up and he could only wait for his death.

Deep inside he was wishing that someone would rescue him. Someone like a knight in shining armor.

Bob and the others were shocked at the sudden turn of events. Yman was about to succeed but how come his resonance with his deity suddenly canceled?!

They anxiously looked at the instructors. Even if Bob, Chloe, and Mai would rescue him, they definitely won't succeed because they were lacking in strength. Both of them have average scores on the evaluation exam. It means that their magic and strength were not strong enough to easily kill one of those monsters that were rank C.

They were wishing for the instructors to rescue him immediately. But they noticed none of the instructors had the plan to make a move.

Mai was staring at Brai for some reason. He noticed her gazes but he chose to ignore her.

Yman felt sleepy. His eyes started to close when a blinding warm reflection of sunlight hit the side of his face. He forced open his eyes and saw a sword user goddess with long black hair and a bow user goddess with long blonde hair.

Their slender back was facing at him like shielding him from the enemies. He wanted to cry because, for the first time, someone was trying to protect him.

Although he wished for a knight in shining armor, the heaven-sent two goddesses instead.

He secretly thanks heaven. It looks like heaven still remembers him.

But Yman furrowed his brows. He knows the other girl that was holding the fire sword. It was the beautiful girl Almina Amulet.

But the second person, he doesn't know who she was. This was the first time he saw her.

He did not see her at the auditorium either. But she was wearing the uniform of Middle Region Magic Academy like them. So it means, she was also a trainee in the same academy as them.

Seeing the side of her face, he could assume that she was a super beauty like Almina.

Although Yman was having difficulty in just glancing at them, he was stunned and balled his eyes when the two goddesses started attacking.

They were killing the golems very fast.

He saw Almina slashing every golem at exactly the same spot. Her movements were graceful and measured.

Yman admitted that she was really better than him at using the Rapid Leap skill. Maybe because she has massive mana. Compared to him that needed to channel his stamina in order to use the skill. So it has two hurdles upon him. First, he doesn't have mana - that's why the execution of his skill was a little laggy than her. Second, because of him using his stamina as a medium, he became weaker and slower each time he used the skill.

But what surprised Yman, was how Almina was able to 1 hit these creeps! Even the instructors had no idea how she managed to do that.

For some reason, she looks serious right now. Unlike the way, she fought a while ago. They were wondering if what was the cause that she was fighting seriously now. But they were assuming for two reasons. First, she was inspired by Kiko's strength a while ago, or maybe she had a crush on him. In any case, Kiko was a handsome guy. Any girls would probably fall over him. But Almina was not an ordinary beauty as well. She was a goddess for them. So for her to have a crush on Kiko was just a 50 - 50 expectation.

Kiko somehow has the feeling that Almina had a crush on him too. Because after his fight, she became serious as well. It looks like she wanted to show her real skill to him. Kiko felt happy, more on it, his friends were teasing him saying - that Almina probably had a crush on Kiko. But Kiko was feeling a little sad that Almina was helping that guy Yman.

She could show her skill later after that person fell on the cliff. Kiko regretted that Almina chose the wrong timing to show-off her skill. All in all, he was happy. Happy that he felt she had something on him.

The second reason that they assumed for Almina's sudden seriousness in fighting, was because of the other girl. Maybe she saw her as a rival. Not rival in love but rival in strength.

On the other hand, the blonde goddess sent arrows that penetrated every golem at the back of her target. The one at the back has been hit also and so on. So every two arrows she sent flying, multiple golems would instantly die.

Just a few seconds that had passed when they finished them off. The noisy surrounding a while ago had suddenly become as quiet as the peaceful swamp.

Everyone was dumbfounded at the domineering power of these two goddesses. The instructors showed a 'can't be helped' expression on their faces.

Looks like these two beautiful ladies were top-notch magicians.

While the others were dumbfounded, inside the carriage - Principal Mar Mari was grinning. It looks like he made the right decision in recruiting this girl. But not just that, he also discovered another talented trainee that could rival his recruited trainee. Who would have thought that that girl Almina Amulet would be attending this academy too? Her mother was rank S magician, while his father was one of the top leaders from the Seeker Guild back on Outerworld.

It was really unbelievable that such a talented magician was going to train herself in the lowest academy out of all the academies.
