The Mysterious Black Magician Chapter 10

|At first glance, the world seemed not too different from the world we used to live in.
But after realizing it, I could see how much of a difference this Innerword than the Outerworld was. Not just from the animals and trees that could be seen around, but also with the people living in this world. One thing about them, they were called half human half beast creatures or known as demihumans.
That's not all, there were half humans too that their figures were not too different from the humans of Outerworld. The only difference was they have pointed ears.
When we arrived in this world, everyone had different kinds of emotions on their faces, but mostly everyone felt an exciting and surprised feeling.
Not too long after we arrived that Ms. Pai, Yana and Sistela had arrived as well. With them were the advisers and instructors that would be going to teach us.
The place where we materialize was located in one of the public squares of the Engkantasya Empire. Old-style buildings could be seen at the distance surrounding us. They were built by bricks and stone pavements that are usually colored in gray and maroon. There's also some that are colored in a milky white and blue.
And in the air, we could see a huge bird with a person riding on it. Some hybrid animals like dogs, cats, birds, etc... could be seen strolling around. And different kinds of people were walking and running in all directions.
Some soldiers wearing full golden-plated armors lined in not too far away from us. Maybe they were guarding this place.
And just like outside the auditorium that we came from, there was a large array under our feet as well. Looks like these two arrays were connected to each other.
Suddenly, we saw someone walking in not too hurry and not too slow pace towards us.
A man and two women, they stopped in front of Mr. Principal Mar Mari. The two men shook their hands then greeted each other.
Seconds later,
They could be seen conversing with each other. Based on the serious expressions that were written on their faces, it looks like they were talking about something important.

A few moments later,
A man and 2 women with pointed ears welcomed us after calming down ourselves from the surprise we felt.
First, they introduced themselves. They called themselves Encan a type of elf person. Even though they were elves, their ears weren't long like most elves that could be seen in books, movies or games. Their ears were short like humans but pointed.
The man was known as Vir Fortis, an ambassador from the empire of Engkantasya. He had long glossy milky white hair. With pointed ears and narrowed eyes. And stood at the height of 5'7 feet tall with a lean body.
The two women with him were both gorgeous, same as him, they had long milky white hairs, and pointed ears. Both had curvaceous bodies. These two ladies were his personal assistance.
After giving us a slight briefing about this world, they then brought us to the city of humans or known as Human City Z7. Many humans from the Outerworld had decided to live here for all their lives.
In this world, no machine transportations could be seen. Everyone rode on a large carriage, which was pulled by a monster that looked like an Ostrich. About 22 large carriages that could accommodate up to 10 trainees each were fast traveling along the road. The first 20 carriage were for the trainees. Two of them were for the advisers and instructors, and some soldiers rode on their horses guarding us.
In front of me was a familiar face.
The meek girl that I happened to bump inside the auditorium a while ago.
At the corner of my eyes, I noticed the girl darted her eyes from here to there. She seemed unrest. Maybe she felt awkward from what had happened this morning. I think even she didn't expect that we could be sitting face to face with each other as of the moment.
I caught her stolen glances at me, and her mouth would open slightly then closed again.
Maybe she was trying to open up a conversation with me? Or want to ask something? I don't know. I don't know what she was thinking so I decided to act like I didn't notice her and scratched my face at the same time.

In the end, she ended up closing her mouth, then she sighed. She whispered a word to summon her Cyber Screen. After summoning her Cyber Screen, she took something from her storage.
A headphone? I couldn't help asking myself after seeing what she took.
She then connected the headphone into her ears.
She seemed to like listening to music.
Her deity was sitting on her palms resting on her hips.
I decided to let her be, and focus my attention somewhere else.
Anyway,
The ambassador Vir Fortis told us that we would arrive at our destination in exactly 3 days.
Human City Z7 was located at estimated 2,550 kilometers west of the Engkantasya Empire. Good thing that the humans from the Outerworld managed to build cities in this world.
They said that there were many Human Cities in this world. It was estimated to be about 100+ human cities that were currently here. And the Human City we were going to was the Human City Zone 7.

Yman was peeking outside while at the same time listening to the conversation of two girls beside the girl he bumped.
"I heard that we will be going to stay here for 3 years until we graduated," said the first girl trainee with green colored hair.
"Really, So, is it also true that we cannot contact anyone from outside this world?" asked the second girl trainee with a hairpin on her hair.
"I guess it's true, but I hope not since I couldn't contact my boyfriend in that case," said the green-haired girl.
"Eeeehh?! You have a boyfriend?" The girl with hairpin exclaimed.
For some reason, their conversation took a quick turn. So Yman decided to stop listening to them and close his eyes.
"Hey bro," a sudden call from someone beside him. But Yman didn't notice that the guy was calling for him. "Bro," the guy called out again while using his forearm to bump Yman slightly in order to grab his attention.
"Ha?" He was quite surprised by the sudden call with a bump. Yman glanced at the guy on his left side. The guy somewhat had a large build.
"Oh, it's you," the guy said with a little surprise on his face.
"Hmm... do you know me?" Yman asked with a blank expression.
"Ah, no, no, it just, I happened to see you taunted by other trainees in the auditorium." The guy said while scratching his head.
"Hah," Yman sighed. Then he continued, "I already used to it," he said with a sad expression.
"Ah-Uhm, sorry, please don't misunderstand what I just said, I'm just surprised to know that it's you," the guy said while trying to smooth things.
Yman answered with a nod.
"The truth, I wanted to ask if this is also your first time here?" the guy asked.
Hearing the guy's question, Yman nodded slightly. Then he said, "I take that like you too." But he was quite puzzled by the guy's question. 'Why would he ask a question with an obvious answer?' Yman couldn't help asking himself.
"Yeah, you're right this my first time too," the guy said.
"Erm... wasn't it natural for us trainees to come here for the first time?" He asked.
"Ah-haha, you're right, sorry for asking an obvious question," the guy said while scratching his head and wearing a smile that indicated he was wrong for asking an obvious question.
"Oh-um... erm...," the girl in front of them mumbled which took his and the guy's attention.
They noticed that the girl wanted to say something, but her tongue retreated.
Yman and the guy took a glance at each other and smiled briefly which reflected the expression of 'it can't be helped'.
"Uhm, do you want to say something?" Yman asked in a calm tone.
The girl nodded her head slightly. "T-The truth is... this is my 4th time coming here," the girl said shyly.
Yman and the guy stared blankly at the girl in surprise.
""R-Really?"" The two asked the same question in unison.
The girl nodded.
