Hidden Wife : Best Husband Chapter 357

Her intention to go to the bookstore must fail because Dae Hyun didn't even let Soo Yin get out of bed. After entering the room since coming home, they hadn't come out at all.
Aunt Xia who had already prepared lunch didn't even dare to interfere. She knew that her current employers were rarely together. Also understood about the passion of love that was heating up.
Soo Yin's head wobbled a bit after being exhausted from their love union. Soo Yin wrapped her body with a blanket in a condition that was already red from the ownership stamp that Dae Hyun made.
Soo Yin then put her feet on the floor to change seats in front of the mirror. She was horrified to see her chest through the mirror. Like being exposed to a disease or insect bites to made him shudder.
"Where are you going?" said Dae Hyun in a hoarse voice, his hand was reaching out to hold Soo Yin's wrist.
"I want to take a shower," Soo Yin said as she tried to release her wrist. Then she dragged her feet shuffling towards the bathroom, every time they did, her body felt crushed.
Dae Hyun sat while he was leaning on the head of the bed. He looked at the clock, it was already four in the afternoon. Without realising, time went by so fast. Even though it felt like he had just been in the villa for a while.
They had a few more hours to rest. After that they had to take turns with his parents to look after Park Soo Hyun.
Half an hour later Soo Yin was out of the bathroom.
"Get up, don't you want to take a shower. You haven't even showered since this morning," Soo Yin grumbled while looking at her husband who was still lying on the bed. Looked very lazy even though he was usually the diligent one.

"I've been showering with sweat," Dae Hyun said, while opening his eyes slightly.
"Ughhh!" Soo Yin cursed.
"If you are tired, you should not come to the hospital tonight," said Dae Hyun.
"No, I'm fine. I'll ask Jean to accompany me again," said Soo Yin. She sat in front of the mirror, dried her hair with a hair dryer.
"Don't feel so guilty, you need to rest too." Dae Hyun who was still shirtless shifted his body closer to Soo Yin.
"Don't mess around," said Soo Yin before Dae Hyun brought his face to her shoulder.
"Honey, I still miss you," Dae Hyun whined.
Soo Yin turned her face while glaring at Dae Hyun.
"Don't have to be lecherous anymore. Can't you see the red marks on my neck? It won't even go away for two days," Soo Yin said as she pursed her lips forward.
"Didn't I just say that I missed you? Was there something wrong with my words?" Dae Hyun said with a smile. If he laughed, Soo Yin will definitely get angry.
"Never mind, forget it. Now go to clean up. After dinner we will go to the hospital," said Soo Yin as she stood up.
"Then where are you going?"
"I want to go out. Don't you realize that we haven't been anywhere since then? Just in the room, I need to breathe a fresh air," Soo Yin said. She stopped for a while, then stepped out.
"Alright, I'll catch up after I'm done showering."
Soo Yin went to the garden behind the villa. She had not seen the plants there for several days.
It turned out that there was Chung Ho there who seemed to be planting something in a pot. Thanked to him because the garden looked much more beautiful with very neatly arranged pots.

"Chung Ho, what are you planting?" asked Soo Yin as she walked over to him.
"I only cultivate lavender plants, Miss," Chung Ho said. His hands were struggling with the planting medium.
"May I help?" Soo Yin then crouched down in front of the man.
"Of course, Miss," said Chung Ho. Even though he was still young, he really liked to plant things. So on the sidelines of his work, he decided to make the small garden much more beautiful.
After finishing bathing Dae Hyun followed his wife. He was now leaning sideways in the middle of the door. Seeing his little wife who looked very engrossed in farming with Chung Ho. He then approached them while carrying two bottles of mineral water, maybe they were thirsty. He sat on a bench not too far away.
Chung Ho kept his distance from Soo Yin when he saw sharp eyes staring at them.
"Honey, come here," Soo Yin said, while waving her hand.
Dae Hyun just stayed where he was. Shook his crossed legs which were overlapping each other. He didn't really like doing things like that.
"Come on, let's go inside. It's getting late," said Dae Hyun.
"In a moment, wait until the sun goes down," said Soo Yin. The back of the villa faced directly into the green view of the trees. Soo Yin never felt bored being there alone.
Soo Yin rubbed her itchy face with her hands that hit the ground, smearing her cheeks.
"Miss, you'd better go in. It's late, let me continue on my own," said Chung Ho.
"Okay." Soo Yin obeyed then approached her husband.
"Look at your dirty face because of the soil," said Dae Hyun.
"Stay here, I'll be inside for a bit," Soo Yin asked, then went inside the house to wash her face.
Dae Hyun felt like he wanted to live in peace and quiet with Soo Yin. Wanted to spend more time with Soo Yin. Gave all the attention and affection to her alone. Without worrying about anything disturbing.
Not long after, Soo Yin came back with a cell phone in her hand. She jumped at the sound of the phone ringing that she almost threw it away.
There was a mother's name printed on the cellphone screen. That meant Mrs. Park contacted him. Soo Yin approached Dae Hyun while looking at her cell phone screen.

The Emperor's Chef
"Cook like your life depends on it, kid. Because it does." Charles had an enviable future lined up for him. Training from the age of five by some of the finest chefs in the world. Schooling at a top culinary academy in the capital. An honorable position as heir to House Boulier, a line of merchant-lords who have charmed the rich and powerful with their cooking for centuries. And in a single night, it all burned to ash. When the outbreak of war destroys his hometown, Charles is charged with escorting his family’s sacred treasure—a recipe book passed down for untold generations—out of harm's way. But his simple mission grows complicated when he’s captured by one of the most feared battalions in the world: the Spears of Mercy. Life as a prisoner in their war camp is brutal and uncertain. Charles has few allies and even fewer strengths to rely on. Only his skills in the culinary arts, honed over a lifetime in the kitchen, are deemed useful enough to keep him alive another day. But he’s not out of hope just yet. With a dash of wit, a pinch of luck, and some very creative cooking, he might just find a way to recover his family’s legacy and take back his freedom. This project is a food-themed fantasy that centers on cooking and chefs. The setting spans a wide world featuring ingredients/recipes both real and inspired by traditional fantasy. I'll eventually be publishing it as a full-length novel (or series of novels depending on length). These are the first draft chapters. I'll likely be re-writing more than once, then editing before publishing, so impressions and feedback are quite welcome. If you like the story so far and you're interested in being an early reviewer for the final product, feel free to message me. I'm looking for an artist to make some concept art and a cover (the cover shown here is just a temporary placeholder). A stand-alone novel for now, but it may turn into a series down the road.
