Everyone looked at each other, then looked at Dae Hyun questioningly.
"What do you mean, Hyeong?" said Park Soo Hyun who was flabbergasted like the others who heard the narrative of his brother.
Park Ji Hoon was silent while listening to the people arguing with each other. Did not want to participate in responding because he already know it first.
"Dae Hyun, you don't have to make jokes like that," Jung Woo said with a laugh followed by the others.
"Never mind, there's no need to replace it with anyone. Only you who deserves to be the director of this hotel," Goong Min said.
Dae Hyun's two uncles said that because now Dae Hyun was fine and they didn't know about his relationship with Soo Yin yet. If they found out maybe at this time his two uncles would be fighting over the position of director.
Dae Hyun gave them time to argue and share their opinions. Even though it wouldn't be taken into consideration but at least he had to listen to what they wanted. Dae Hyun's determination was made up so nothing could stop him.
"I'm doing this just intending to make the hotel even more advanced," Dae Hyun said again.
"You don't have to bother looking for it because I've already appointed who will replace me. I'm sure if you guys will definitely agree to make him a director," Dae Hyun added while sighing softly.
The meeting room was getting more and more clamorous now as several people were talking to themselves. It seemed that they didn't want Dae Hyun to step down from his post. However, Dae Hyun pretended not to listen to what they said.
"I will appoint Park Soo Hyun as the new director of The Silla Seoul Hotel," Dae Hyun said in a loud and firm voice. Now there was a feeling of relief that he had said everything.

"What?"
Everyone said this in unison while looking at Dae Hyun with a look full of question marks. Until a few moments the meeting room was silent because everyone was so shocked. Thought that Dae Hyun had gone crazy. Basically no one will want to step down from their post. They didn't expect Dae Hyun to say that after he worked so hard work for the hotel for so long.
"Dae Hyun, didn't we say we don't have to make jokes like that. Park Soo Hyun is still too young. He…." Jung Woo stopped his words when he glanced at Park Soo Hyun. Willing to say unreliable but immediately discouraged.
"Watch your words, don't play around like that," said Pak Ooh who was one of the board of directors.
They continued to argue against the idea of Dae Hyun wanting to quit his position.
"You don't need to worry, I will keep helping Park Soo Hyun's work until he really can do it himself," Dae Hyun said to make sure that Park Soo Hyun can be relied on.
"Please, rethink what you have said. Because not only is this hotel that will suffer losses, but we will also feel very disadvantaged," Mr. Choi protested.
"Hyeong, what are you really thinking? Where are you going exactly?" Park Soo Hyun said as he stood up because he was the one who was the most surprised among the others.
"I'm not going anywhere. I just want us to change positions so you can feel how it is like to be a leader. It's enough that I have devoted my life to work in this hotel. Now is the time for you to do it," Dae Hyun said firmly.
"I have no experience with all of this. How can you think like that?" Park Soo Hyun said, who participated in the protest about his brother's unreasonable idea.

"Father, what's the matter with him? Why is he suddenly like that?" Park Soo Hyun said, while looking at him.
"It's okay, you also have to learn to be a leader," Park Ji Hoon said calmly. As a father he also wanted his youngest son to come forward.
Everyone sounded rejecting what Dae Hyun was doing. They couldn't just let the hotel being led by an inexperienced person.
"Please, calm down everyone. Allow me to speak," Dae Hyun said, taking a deep breath and then let it out.
"My decision is unanimous. Even though I am no longer the director, I will still work well at this hotel. I hope you will accept my decision well. Starting tomorrow I will swap rooms first with Park Soo Hyun as a trial," Dae Hyun said again.
"One more thing, I am releasing this position because I want to focus on taking care of branches in various places," Dae Hyun continued.
"How can we believe what you say?"
"You really are out of your mind."
"No one would resign for just such a reason. You thought our money at this hotel was a joke."
Protest after protest came from the members of the board of directors.
"I think the meeting this time is enough. Please if you still want to talk," Dae Hyun said, who immediately resigned.
Dae Hyun decided to sit down because the results of the meeting had already been decided. It was up to them to agree or not. Just waiting for the appointment process of Park Soo Hyun, then everything will be over. After that, he just needed take care of his divorce from Aeri. Only then he will remarry Soo Yin to erase the traces circulating so that all this time Soo Yin was not considered as a side chick and a mistress.
The thought of how they walked on the altar made his heart flutter.
'Honey, be patient. Just one more step, I will make you my only queen, ' Dae Hyun thought with a smiling face.
Not wanting to listen to their arguments, Dae Hyun decided to leave the room. With casual steps, Dae Hyun walked towards the exit. Now the burden on his shoulders felt a little less. Hopefully his decision won't create chaos at the hotel.
Everyone in the meeting room discussed with each other asking for their opinion from Park Ji Hoon of why Dae Hyun suddenly did that. Even though lately it didn't seem like anything had happened.

The Granddaughter of Time
Teresa Hargrove was okay with giving up. She knew the Earth was doomed and there was nothing to be done about it. What she was not okay with was the Future, an enigmatic woman nearly fanatical in her devotion to making a difference, dragging her along — seemingly, to prove her wrong. It turns out though that the Future is very hard to understand. This story contains heavy themes, including mental illness, existential crisis and death. However, I still tried to eventually convey a message of hope. Several mythical and metaphorical beings in the shape of humans will appear in most chapters. However, they are not meant to be of a specific ethnicity or social background and are instead perceived differently by people around them. For your reading pleasure, feel free to imagine them any way you’d like, even if your imagination contradicts descriptions from the story. Enjoy!~
