After trying hard enough, Soo Yin finally managed to let go of her wrist. Looked like they were caught off guard because of Jean's arrival. She had to think of a way to distract them from hurting Jean.

Soo Yin looked back, lucky that there was a door. She couldn't leave her best friend in there alone. Especially having to watch Jean get shot.

"Hey, chase me!" Soo Yin exclaimed then ran through the door behind her. Even though her head felt very heavy and wobbled, Soo Yin tried to gather all her strength to run.

The three men who were focused on torturing Jean were immediately distracted.

"Your job is to kill her. Not to take care of that girl!" Furiously the man in the robe finally let out of his voice. Very angry because his men were taking care of a girl who was not important at all. They can fail to earn money if they didn't succeed in executing Soo Yin. He was indeed the leader of the criminals who was assigned to kill Soo Yin.

The three of his men immediately chase after Soo Yin.

Soo Yin held her aching stomach. With limping steps, his legs continued to run so he could get away from the criminals. Hoped that nothing happened to Jean. If this was all her life, Soo Yin only hoped to save her best friend. Let all her dreams be buried.

Repeatedly they beat Soo Yin's small body alternately with the robed man who was in charge of recording the video. It was for proof that they have done their job right. After they succeeded in killing Soo Yin, they would hide abroad.

Even though Jean's body felt crushed but she seemed to have a little strength to look for Soo Yin's whereabouts. She didn't want anything to happen to her friend. Not far away, she heard a woman's voice even though it only could be heard faintly.

Jean immediately dragged her feet into the open area. Her eyes widened when she saw Soo Yin's current condition with a state that no longer had the strength. Her head was drooping in resignation, if there weren't two men who was holding her hand, she would have fallen to the ground. The criminals continued to beat Soo Yin's body blindly.

The criminals released Soo Yin's body after she was impossible to escape.

The man in the robe immediately took out a gun then pointed it right at Soo Yin's head.

Soo Yin just gave up at this time.

"Honey, I'm sorry. I can't take care of our child and you anymore," Soo Yin whispered amidst the intense pain all over her body.

She also looked at Jean for a moment with a smile. Soo Yin realized that the man was getting ready to pull the trigger.

Dorrr… dorrr… dorrr….

A gunshot echoed through the air. Soo Yin closed her eyes, prepared that she might now leave Dae Hyun forever.

But Soo Yin did not feel any bullets streaking through her body. Slowly she raised her head. A man fell to the floor right before her eyes.

"How dare you!" Chang Yuan shouted who had just came along with his men.

They shoot at each other and fought. Chang Yuan took them a little away from the place because he was afraid that something might happened to Soo Yin. He had to divert them then taking care of Soo Yin.

Jean dragged her feet closer to Soo Yin with tears running down her cheeks.

With a blurry vision Soo Yin smiled seeing a limping Jean walked towards her. Soo Yin's body now didn't feel anything. All the pain mixed into one at this time.

"Jean, I'm sorry," Soo Yin said softly with haggard eyes. Her face was full of bruises. Her hands reached out to embrace Jean's body. But her body was too weak to wake up.

"Soo Yin, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have brought you here," said Jean while helping Soo Yin to sit down. She continued to cry seeing her friend's current condition.

"Jean, I'm sorry. I don't have any relationship with Mr. Park Soo Hyun," said Soo Yin with trembling lips.

"I'm not mad at you, I just want to be alone," Jean said. Her tears broke out immediately while hugging Soo Yin's body very tightly.

"Actually I… I…. Arghhhh!" Soo Yin screamed when she felt her stomach. Her hands were released from Jean's body and then she held her stomach.

Soo Yin's stomach churned, the pain immediately filled her nerves.

"Soo Yin, what's wrong with you?" Jean was panicked. Her eyes widened when she saw that there were blood stain on Soo Yin's pants.

"Jean, if I can't open my eyes again, tell my husband that I really love him," Soo Yin said with a fading consciousness and her vision was blurred. Until everything seemed dark, there was nothing in her eyes.

"Soo Yin, wake up!" Jean shouted while shaking Soo Yin's body which was already limp on her lap.

Chang Yuan who had just finished his business with the criminals and now success on caught them. For the boss, he died on the spot because he put a gun right on his head.

"Miss," he said as he crouched down, trying to wake Soo Yin but she still didn't open her eyes.

"Now let's go to the hospital," Chang Yuan said to Jean then immediately carried Soo Yin's body. It seemed that now there was no time.

Blood splattered from Soo Yin's pants as long as Chang Yuan ran. Jean, who could not walk quickly, was helped by Chang Yuan's men to get into the car.

Chang Yuan lied Soo Yin's body on the back seat. Hurriedly got behind the wheel. Meanwhile, Jean was still unmoved where she stood.

"Jean, hurry in. Stay with Miss Soo Yin at the backseat," Chang Yuan said as he lowered the windshield of his car.

Jean's mind felt blank at this moment. Can't digest all that happened yet. The incident that had just happened was like a nightmare and she wanted to wake up from her sleep. But Chang Yuan's voice immediately awakened her, so she immediately got into the car and then put Soo Yin's head on her lap.
