Kindergarten.
Jo Yeon Ho kept looking at the empty chair. Both parents should have occupied the chair, even though the event was about to begin. His face looked very lackluster.
Earlier, Dae Hyun said goodbye to outside for a while, but until now he didn't appear. Jo Yeon Ho was getting saddened lest her father didn't love him anymore.
"Good morning, welcome to the guardians of the students. Thank you for agreeing to be present at today's event. Alright, we will soon open the program," the host said, who was already on the stage.
Jo Yeon Ho kept his head down by playing with his fingers without listening to the host's resounding welcome.
The event has also started with the first event being a welcoming ceremony for parents by female students who dance traditional Korean dances.
Dae Hyun had asked permission to leave the hall because he would be waiting for Soo Yin who was already on her way. The man was already standing at the gate leaning his hand on the side of the post.
Actually, Dae Hyun hesitated to ask Soo Yin to come there. Moreover, there was anxiety in his heart. But he could only ask his little wife for help.
It didn't take long before a car pulled up right in front of him. Dae Hyun immediately approached the car because he already knew that it was the car driven by Chung Ho.
"Do not come close!" Soo Yin said before setting foot on the ground. Didn't let everyone know their relationship because of her husband's carelessness.
"Be careful, a little," Dae Hyun said. About to reach out his hand grabbed Soo's wrist but Soo Yin brushed it off.
"Haven't I said many times, don't make me like a sick person," Soo Yin said by narrowing her eyes.

"Okay." Dae Hyun immediately moved away.
Dae Hyun and Soo Yin walked side by side with a little distance between them towards the hall where the event was taking place. Soo Yin asked Dae Hyun to walk first so she can follow the steps behind him.
The hall was cheerful with applause resounding in the room. One by one the students who had passed this time came on the stage to say goodbye together.
Jo Yeon Ho kept staring at his feet because every time he saw an empty chair it made him sadder. He looked so discouraged until the host asked all the students to look forward and Jo Yeon Ho lifted his chin.
Dae Hyun and Soo Yin were now sitting side by side. Soo Yin was excited to see Jo Yeon Ho on stage. She waved her hand when Jo Yeon Ho made eye contact with her.
Jo Yeon Ho was immediately excited when he saw his father and Soo Yin have arrived. Widened his smile until rows of teeth showed. Now Jo Yeon Ho was back in his spirits again.
"Yeon Ho is very handsome," Soo Yin said while continuing to clap her hands following the others.
"Of course, it's because his father is also very handsome," Dae Hyun said with his eyes fixed on the stage.
"You are too confident," Soo Yin sneered as she rolled her eyes.
"That's the fact. If not, how could I have two wives," Dae Hyun said with a wink.
"Kim Soo Hyun is much more handsome," Soo Yin said.
Dae Hyun turned to Soo Yin when he heard the vague words that come out of his little wife's mouth. This was enough to make him jealous.
"Really? No matter how handsome his face he will not succeed in getting my little wife," Dae Hyun said with great emphasis.

"What if one day I change my mind?" Soo Yin teased.
"That won't happen. Only I can touch you," Dae Hyun said in a cold tone. The grooves of his jaw muscles seemed to tighten.
Soo Yin pinched Dae Hyun's thigh hard enough that the man winced in pain. Soo Yin was furious that her husband's self-confidence was too high.
"Where is Aeri? Why doesn't she come to this event?" Soo Yin asked to change their conversation. Didn't let anyone eavesdrop on those sensitive chats.
"I don't know, Yeon Ho said she went to her mother's house but I'm not sure. But it's much better that she didn't come so that later I will easily give her the divorce papers," Dae Hyun said flatly.
"What do you mean? You're going to divorce her?" Soo Yin was quite stunned to hear Dae Hyun's statement.
"Of course, I want to immediately divorce her so that the three of us can live happily," Dae Hyun said, about to rub his wife's stomach but Soo brushed it off.
Soo Yin raised a glance that there were several people who seem to be watching them. Maybe they already know if Jo Yeon Ho's mother was Aeri.
"Watch your attitude, look some mothers watching us," Soo Yin whispered with a straight look forward.
"Leave it, don't bother," Dae Hyun said casually as he crossed his legs. His right foot overlaps the left.
Soo Yin shifted her chair a little away from Dae Hyun. His intimidating gaze made her uncomfortable. She felt like the accused.
"Alright, now we will enter the core program. We will call the students one by one to come forward. We hope the parents get ready to accompany their children," the MC said in a voice that echoed through the microphone. It didn't feel like the event had been going on for quite a while.
Soo Yin caught her breath to get rid of her nervousness. Repeatedly inhaling deep breaths from the nose then exhaling from the mouth. Even cold sweat ran down her palms.
"Why do you look so nervous?" Dae Hyun said with furrowed brows.
"This is the first time I've represented parenthood at an important event like this." Soo Yin looked around the hall maybe Aeri had come so she didn't have to. Moreover, the gazes of several women made her very uncomfortable.
"There's no need to worry. We just need to move forward then it's done," Dae Hyun said to convince Soo Yin.
Now some students have come to the stage to be awarded graduation certificates.

Fragments from the Wildlands
“Your first death is always the hardest.” Miguela was the third-born child of a well-off merchant family and knew from around the time she could speak that her life’s path was already decided. She was to become an Orator, as was Xandran tradition. However, Miguela had an affinity with the magikal arts and somehow found herself studying at the Academy. She did just enough to keep up with her studies but never found the motivation to apply herself and “reach her potential,” as her instructors often said. It was not that Miguela was uninterested in the arts. Rather, she knew her time at the Academy ultimately did not matter. Whenever Miguela returned home, she would become an Orator, and that would be that. Or so she believed until, one day, an opportunity appeared that would change her life. Miguela was offered the chance to join a research team tasked with a mission of the utmost importance to the future of the Five Kingdoms. She could not turn down the prospect of regaining control of her life and finally finding a purpose for herself. Of course, Miguela might soon discover that offers that appear too good to be true are usually fraught with lies. Welcome to Five Kingdoms of Cordizal! Question: What is the Five Kingdoms of Cordizal? I often get asked this type of question about my stories by friends, bloggers, and potential readers. The Five Kingdoms of Cordizal is a high-fantasy epic universe that is the setting for most of my stories. The foundation of the universe is its multicultural, multiracial setting with several sentient races attempting to carve their legacy and survive. The world is fully fleshed out and vibrant with a rich and mysterious history not based on Tolkien mythology. This brings me to magic. To me, magic is an essential part of the fantasy genre, so, of course, there is magic in the Five Kingdoms universe. However, one critical part of the Five Kingdoms universe is that magic is an abundant commodity that is a part of everyday life and not some plot device used to drive the story. In short, the Five Kingdoms universe is the setting of epic fantasy stories with deep characters and world-building. I try to tell as many different types of stories as possible in the universe, and hopefully, you can find something for you in it.

Hope
There were 2 options: Fight the same war for countless more aeons. Shatter the Betrayer's undead legions time and time again until all was ground to dust. Because the endless legions truly never end. A hair's breath of ground in a century is enough if the war takes all of eternity. Or to choose Hope. To cast away his memories, his power, his very life. To wager everything on a chance to prevent their eventual end or to perish trying. Because if he were to return it would be with the power necessary to finally slay what remains of the Betrayer. Of the last Aspect. Only then would all things be right. And so, he chose the latter. Expect:Weak to strong quick-ish.Powerful MC reincarnates, gradually starts regaining memories.MC that is an actual character not a plot device. My original unique magic system discovered along with the MC.My original setting with mythos that have both been living rent free in my head for actual years.Opening arc will be less fast than the following story. Good writing (I think) and grammar. Upload schedulle: 2 chapters a week of 3-4k words each. I want to upscale to 3 in the future. Meant to be read in RR dark mode. For those coming here from my other stories, this is indeed a reimagining of my older story, CotM. I say reimagining because I have changed so much it cannot be called just a rewrite. Among the major changes, MC is fundamentally different in personality and background, I have actually planned the story out and changed it almost completely and I have adjusted my mythos so it no longer has as many holes as swiss cheese.
