"Sir, have a drink," Soo Yin said with a trembling body and cold sweat streaming down her body.
Dae Hyun immediately took all the medicine. He swallowed the drug with a total of ten grains. He leaned his head on the side of the bed with a panting breath. He closed his eyes again.
"Honey, what really happened to you?" Soo Yin said with tears streaming down her cheeks. Her hand gripped Dae Hyun's fingers tightly.
"Don't worry, I'm fine," Dae Hyun said, still closing his eyes. He smiled as he squeezed his wife's fingers.
"After marrying me you always almost got hurt," Soo Yin said while sobbing. She lowered her head to kiss Dae Hyun's hand.
"Hey, don't talk like that. It's all not your fault," Dae Hyun said. After taking the medicine prescribed by Doctor Kang, her chest was now getting better.
Dae Hyun sat up then bent over to kiss the top of his little wife's head.
Soo Yin looked up. She felt too sad that she didn't realize Dae Hyun had sat back down.
Dae Hyun stretched out his hand to touch that face full of tears. He grabbed Soo Yin's face then wiped his tears slowly.
"Don't cry, look at your swollen eyelids. Later the doctor will think if I hurt you," Dae Hyun said with a smile.
Soo Yin pursed her lips while puffing her nose. She felt very worried but her husband teased her.
"Come on, let's get out of here," Dae Hyun asked.
"Where are you going? Isn't your current condition not getting better?" Soo Yin said.
"Didn't I already say that being with you could be a medicine for me. I would be very fine around you," Dae Hyun said.
"We're not going anywhere until you recover," Soo Yin refused.
Soo Yin sat on the chair right beside the bed where Dae Hyun was leaning his head. She started feeding her husband the porridge provided by the hospital for her husband, but Dae Hyun had always refused it.
"Honey, I don't want to eat it. It tastes very weird," Dae Hyun said while shaking his head. He was disgusted to see that the porridge looked soft. It didn't make him feel like eating at all.
"You have to eat it," Soo Yin said as she handed him another spoon but Dae Hyun covered his mouth with his palms.

"Please, get the porridge away from me. I feel like my stomach is stirring," Dae Hyun said as he pushed the bowl away from him.
"Why are you being so weird?" Soo Yin grunted while frowning. Since when did her husband become nauseous just seeing the porridge even though it was fine. He was like mother who was young pregnant.
"I don't know either, but these days I don't like soft food," Dae Hyun said. He also felt strange about his body which sometimes got tired easily and his tongue was very picky in the taste of food.
"You better have to ask Doctor Kang about your body condition," Soo Yin said. Doctor Kang has been his personal doctor for a long time so he must know more about her husband's physical condition.
"After returning to Seoul I'll see him," Dae Hyun said because he felt annoyed that his body became weak.
Soo Yin finally put the porridge bowl back on the nightstand. She looked at the clock, which was only seven o'clock in the evening, but her eyes felt sleepy.
"If you get better why don't we go back to Grandma's house?" Soo Yin asked. She couldn't bear if she has to lingering in the hospital.
"I don't want to share a room with Aeri," Dae Hyun said.
"Why?"
"Because I don't want to make you jealous," Dae Hyun said while pinching his little wife's nose.
"I won't be jealous." Soo Yin supported his chin with both hands.
"Really? When Yeon Woo hugged me you were very angry," Dae Hyun teased.
"It's because she seemed to like you and you guys were ever close and you even seem to enjoy it. Huh, you man!" Soo Yin argued while inflating her nose.
"Your jealousy is sometimes unreasonable. Calm down, I will not betray the trust you have given me," Dae Hyun said as he hugged Soo Yin's body in his arms.
Soo Yin rolled her eyes. Dae Hyun held her too tightly that she tried to escape. Besides, Soo Yin was also afraid that someone would suddenly enter.
"Take care of your attitude. I don't want anyone to catch us again," Soo Yin said while pushing Dae Hyun's burly body.
"I just want you to believe in me," Dae Hyun said.

"Never mind, I don't want to discuss it because I want to find food outside," Soo Yin said, who shifted her chair back to make it easier for her to stand up and then stepped outside.
Just closing the door from outside Soo Yin reached into her pants pocket to find money but she found nothing. She forgot not to bring her wallet because she was in a hurry.
Soo Yin turned back into the room again while biting her index finger.
"What's the matter? Don't you want to come out?" Dae Hyun said when he saw his little wife went back in.
"I didn't have any money with me," Soo Yin said as she pursed her lips.
"Have you brought money?" Soo Yin continued with a hint of embarrassment.
Dae Hyun immediately took something from his pants pocket. He took one of his ATM cards from his wallet. Actually, Dae Hyun had intended to give the ATM to his little wife for a long time but Soo Yin always refused. Looked like this was a very good time to give it back.
"Take it, don't ever return it," Dae Hyun said in an orderly tone as he handed the card to Soo Yin.
"I just need a little. Is there no cash?" Soo Yin said. She just wanted to buy roadside food so she didn't need to use an ATM. She also handed the card back to her husband.
"Honey, I told you not to return it. You always refuse every money I give. Just save it for your tuition later," Dae Hyun said while closing Soo Yin's fingers so that she would hold the card.
"But I don't even know I'll continue my education. I haven't really thought about it," Soo Yin said.
"Come on, you have to stay in college. I want to see if one day you succeed," Dae Hyun persuaded.
"Okay, but tomorrow you have to accompany me to register because Jae-hwa registered beforehand yesterday. Is it okay if I study in the medical field because it must cost a lot of money. I don't want to disappoint you with my meager abilities," Soo Yin said while biting his lower lip. She was afraid to disappoint her husband.
"I'm sure you can do it. Didn't you say you wanted to compete with Aeri?" Dae Hyun reminded them of their conversation a while ago. He wanted her to be excited and not despair like that.
"That's right, if later I become the only wife I want to prove to everyone that you don't choose me wrong," Soo Yin said with a thin smile. Can she compete with her husband's first wife who was so perfect? Soo Yin sometimes wanted to laugh at herself who was overconfident.
Marriage that must be hidden and becoming a second wife was not his dream. But everything has happened Soo Yin can surrender to what happens in the future.
"Calm down, tomorrow I will be your guardian," Dae Hyun said.
"You become my father?" Soo Yin asked while winking her eyes. She didn't really listen to what her husband said because her mind wandered for a moment.
"I mean to be your father's representative. Nobody will believe if a man as handsome as me already has a teen daughter," Dae Hyun said with a chuckle.
"You are too confident," Soo Yin sneered.
"If you I am not handsome, then will you fall in love with me," Dae Hyun said while glancing to tease his wife.
"It's because you forced me," Soo Yin argued, her cheeks started to turn red.
"I'm hungry, I'll buy food first," Soo Yin continued to change the subject, after all, her stomach already asked to be filled.
"Wait, I also want to go outside. In this room makes me really like a weak person," Dae Hyun said while removing the blanket. He hurried out of bed. He stepped his feet to grab his coat which was on the hanger.
Dae Hyun didn't wear the clothes provided by the hospital because he really didn't like wearing them. With normal clothes it will be easier to get out of the hospital area because the doctor will think if it was a family member of one of the patients.

This project has no purpose
Summary: This is the story about the life of a "human" amidst a world that only appears to be earth at first glance. Long ago the face of this world resembled the typical tales of yore; of knights and fairies, swords and magic, however such an era has come and gone. Even the world of fantasy has progressed steadily into the modern epoch filled with the wonders of science and technology! In the ancient times a certain crisis had occured that lead to the quick decline of various magical species. Due to their low population and general incompatibility with the other races they could not crossbreed to save their numbers. Left with no other choice the major races of the world gathered together in an attempt to change the fate of this dying world. Their only hope was a special 'world-tier' magic known as 'the dusk of harmony'. The result of this magic would dissolve every race into their purest essences known as 'aspect' and instill them within the human population. The humans were the best choice as their numbers were numerous and form was similar to most races. As such, the various races of this world managed to save themselves in essence and soul only, though perhaps there was no other choice. With the various humans now carrying the weight and aspects of those who came before, life has continued onto the modern age. Yet, even amongst these hybrids 'Pures' emerge from time to time, beings who have inherited not only aspects of the ancient races, but their forms too. These Pures are often times exceptionally talented and seen as near deities. This is the story of a perculiar boy who is born with the soul of a stranger from the world known as 'Earth'. With the memories and soul of a human, he too is a rare Pure; a pure human. --- This project literally has no purpose and is being written because I felt like it. There isn't any semblance of a solid direction nor have I thought about any characters aside from the main character and a few auxiliary cast. If you would like to contribute to building this world with me then please contact me through a DM or by leaving a comment, I will be sure to credit you.

Way of the World
In a world of martial arts and magic, where the strong do as they please, a young swordsman seeks revenge for his school's destruction and mentor's death, while trying to stay true to his own values. Arround him, the era shifts as immense powers struggle and scheme for the world's future. Join our protagonist as he travels through exotic lands, meets strange and funny creatures and learns to remain human amongst the carnage. Author's note: This is the first story I'm writting in a coherent manner (I have written a lot of DnD background stories in the past), so bear with me if I make boring or overdescriptive bits: I'll regularly come back to rewrite whichever parts feel unpolished, especially grammatical errors. I would also appreciate any corrections or suggestions.

Someone Like Adam

The view of a someone so desperately working out is not a delight either." I retorted in a weary voice. "I bet it isn't." he narrowed his eyes at me and commented. Ugh.. Why is he so damn annoying? He was invading my personal space, making me a bit flustered. The urge to push back his golden-brown hair covering his forehead was increasing with every passing second.
