Hidden Wife : Best Husband Chapter 117

Dae Hyun actually wanted to follow Soo Yin to go back to Pyeongchang-dong villa but he wanted to sort things out with Aeri first. He couldn't wait to part from Aeri as soon as possible. That way he could tell the world that Soo Yin only belonged to him and no one should take her, including Park Soo Hyun.
"Father!" Jo Yeon Ho exclaimed, who immediately jogged towards Dae Hyun. As usual the boy was always enthusiastic when he met his father.
"Hi, honey," Dae Hyun said while holding his son's tiny body.
Dae Hyun turned his face the other way as Aeri smiled at him. Really he was very disgusted to see that woman.
"Dad, look. I made this together with Mom," Jo Yeon Ho said while handing the paper to Dae Hyun.
Dae Hyun immediately opened it wanting to know what exactly was in the picture. It turned out to be a picture of a family. There was a man and woman who were on the edge and then there was a small child who was carrying a balloon in his hand. There was a name for each in each picture. Money was none other than the name of the three of them.
"Dad, I want us to be a happy family like in this picture," Jo Yeon Ho said, speaking with a typical little boy accent. His small face now so bright when he saw the picture in his hand.
Dae Hyun scratched his temple. His heart was cut to hear the narrative of his only son. Just about to divorce Aeri but Jo Yeon Ho actually expressed his heart's desire.
"I want us to go for a trip in three of us with Mom and Dad like in the picture," Jo Yeon Ho said expectantly looking at her father.
Dae Hyun just replied with a smile. On the other hand, he wanted to part with Aeri immediately, but on the other hand, he didn't want to disappoint his son. This really got him into a real dilemma.
"Yeon Ho, you better sleep because it's late. It's not good for young children to sleep too late," Dae Hyun said. He continued to carry Jo Yeon Ho until he reached his room.
"Your father is right, honey. Come on, Mom will read you a story so you can fall asleep soundly," Aeri said, she immediately grabbed Jo Yeon Ho to turn to her arms.

Dae Hyun frowned. He felt something was wrong with Aeri's attitude who seemed so patient and compassionate. Looked like the world was wrong in turning around.
Aeri took Jo Yeon Ho to his room while Dae Hyun went straight to the bathroom to clean up.
Aeri entered the room while Dae Hyun was changing clothes. She immediately walked over to Dae Hyun and rubbed his broad chest gently.
"Honey, I miss you so much," Aeri said as she leaned her head on Dae Hyun's chest.
"Don't talk nonsense!" Dae Hyun said with a cold tone that was so piercing heard in Aeri's ears.
"What do you mean?" Aeri asked while rubbing Dae Hyun's cheek but the man immediately stopped his hand.
"Don't pretend you don't know," Dae Hyun said, chuckling. He now didn't have to pretend to be nice because Jo Yeon Ho was no longer around.
"Honey, I really don't understand what you mean," Aeri said as she raised her hand.
Dae Hyun immediately stepped foot to take something above the nightstand.
"Tell me what all this means?" Dae Hyun slammed the photo on the dresser. Until some photos scattered on the floor.
Aeri widened her eyes and almost fell over when she saw the photos one by one. It was a photo of her with Manager Han that night. How did Dae Hyun have all this? Couldn't possibly be one of his friends who would leak to Dae Hyun.
"Where did you get all this?" Aeri said with a little stuttered. Her hands were clenched tightly until her nails stuck into her palms leaving marks. Her body trembled slightly. Even though the photo was taken from a distance, her face was still visible.
"You don't need to know," Dae Hyun said with a crooked smile full of hatred.
"It's not what you think," Aeri said, shaking. Now she was really very scared but Aeri tried to calm down so that Dae Hyun will not be suspicious and believe in his accusations.
"What was I thinking?" Dae Hyun said while cornering Aeri against the wall. His gaze was fiery and filled with anger.
"That night I was just a little drunk so I didn't realize when Han took me to his apartment. We've been friends for a long time so how could Han do anything to me," Aeri who remained defensively argued.

"You better get ready to get out of this house. I don't want to have a lying wife like you!" Dae Hyun said in a fiery tone to vent his anger.
"Dae Hyun, I've never lied to you," Aeri said with teary eyes. She softened her voice to make it sound sad.
"Not lying, you say? You even lied when Jo Yeon Ho was about to get hurt because you left him in the park alone. Lucky that Soo Yin was able to save him," Dae Hyun said coldly. He remembered how Soo Yin nearly lost his life helping his son.
"At that time I… I…." Aeri couldn't find the words to defend herself.
"You even have always prioritized your personal interests more than Jo Yeon Ho," Dae Hyun said with a trembling body trying to hold back his anger.
"Dae Hyun, I'm really sorry. Please forgive me," Aeri said, she sat cross-legged in front of Dae Hyun. She will do everything in her power to remain in that house.
"Your words of regret don't mean anything to me anymore," Dae Hyun said.
"I beg you, forgive me," Aeri said while holding Dae Hyun's feet with tears.
"Pack all your clothes and say goodbye to Jo Yeon Ho. I want you to leave the house tomorrow." Actually Dae Hyun wanted to kick Aeri out tonight but he still had a conscience. After all, Aeri was the mother of his son and they have lived together for a long time.
"Do you have the heart if Jo Yeon Ho is far from his mother?" Aeri said, still on his knees.
"You don't need to worry because I will find a better mother figure than you," Dae Hyun said then immediately rushed into his clothes before finally leaving Aeri.
"You'll see, can you kick me out of this house," Aeri thought with red eyes looking at Dae Hyun who had disappeared behind the door.
Dae Hyun wanted to leave the house immediately for fear that he would be rude to Aeri.
Just about to went down the stairs now he ran into Park Soo Hyun who made his anger even higher.
"Hyeong, where are you going?" Park Soo Hyun who was just about to climb the stairs asked.
"I want to go outside," Dae Hyun said, he wobbled a little because his body felt strange. But he immediately rushed to leave the house.
================================
Pyeongchang-dong Villa
Soo Yin really felt really angry this time. This was not the first time her husband has lied to her. The first was Dae Hyun admitted that he was single and didn't have a wife so Soo Yin wanted to marry him. But the truth was that her husband already has a wife and children so that Soo Yin can't help but become a second wife. It has passed and she can accept everything.
Now Soo Yin was lied to by Dae Hyun just because of flowers and poetry. If she found out that her husband didn't send it, she will definitely return it to Park Soo Hyun. She wouldn't be so happy about those words. Although she always read the poem when she was alone at night when she couldn't sleep.
Soo Yin sat on the floor while bending her legs to shoulder and lied her head which felt heavy. Was this her fate that was always lied to. Why was her life destiny so sad like this? The chants of the nocturnal animals were loud as if they were laughing at her terrible fate. They seemed to be talking about her poor life.
Until late at night Soo Yin didn't even move from the balcony. Until she heard a familiar car sound in her ears. If Soo Yin usually felt very happy because her husband came at night, she was reluctant to meet him.
Knock knock knock ....
There was a knock on the door which was quite loud and repeated. But Soo Yin still didn't move from where she was sitting. Instead, she buried her head in her knees. She tried to hold back her tears from dripping. There's no point crying over someone like Dae Hyun.
"Honey, open the door," Dae Hyun said as he kept knocking on the door.
"I apologize for all my mistakes," Dae Hyun said again. The man never gave up in order to get forgiveness from his wife.

Spirit of the Gamer
Waking up in a new world with a odd Gaming power? Not the worst thing... Waking up in a world of hungy ghosts, genocidal reapers, and things not quite covered in manga? Well, that was a little harder to adapt to. Story is OC inserted into pre-canon Bleach. This story will be a massive derail from normal Bleach. Expect random ideas, extremly slow start up, and more focus on characters and trying to be a better person. I don't own Bleach. The who does is Tite Kubo, please support the offical Manga/Anime.

I will not be eaten
Litchi is your ordinary Royal Road addict. She can’t resist the call of a new chapter even when she needs to work. Because of too many new responsibilities she promises one week without reading. Sadly, she cracks in three days, because of an Azarinth Healer notification. Taking out her phone she starts avidly reading. It’s just a small promise, she will try it another time. Nothing should happen. Say that to the goblin that tries to eat your face, Litchi! You should keep your promise! She was used to food jokes on her name but it seems that this time her destiny is to be eaten. ---- Hello future reader! I didn’t find a new good isekai so why not create my own? I am an RR addict and amateur writer (in French) and today I decided to publish a story. You will have my eternal gratitude for any advice or constructive comments on the story! One of my objectives is to have developed characters, duo or trio make a fantastic way to character growth. So, I will try to create a deep relationship between a few of them. The first few chapters have a lot of combat, but other characters will soon arrive. Those first few chapters are made to build tension and create Litchi's first motivations. This story has the plot written to the end and important characters already shaped. This story is short in comparison to the majority of RR fantasy stories. Update every two days until I have no more chapters in my pocket. Average chapter length: 2200 words Warning: The grammar can be bad, IMPORTANT CHARACTERS CAN (Will) DIE, contain philosophical conversation as the characters stumble upon morals dilemmas. I hope I will see you soon in the comments and thank you in advance for reading Litchi’s journey. Have a nice day! :)

Thief of Time
[Participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] Book 1: The Legend of Tot Synopsis: Claud Primus, a self-declared master thief, has a simple goal. To live forever. It's a rather easy task, for miraculous objects called lifestones are able to extend one's lifespan. These lifestones are best found in the treasuries of nobles, lovely resorts that Claud pays a visit to every so often. Unfortunately, one of those nightly visits go awry, and Claud is forced to escape with just a single lifestone and a box in hand. Normally, that's when things die down. The guards yawn, the gates close, and the night continues. But this time, the night isn't that forgiving. A dozen schemes result in the murder of someone important, and with a convenient scapegoat — Claud — at hand, it doesn't take long for him to be framed as a heinous criminal, wanted for the indirect murder of someone high up...and it just gets worse from there. Book 2: The Moon Lords' Rise Synopsis: As ordered chaos sweeps across Licencia, Claud leaves for Julan Barony, intent on making some profits there. Accompanied by the erstwhile heiress of Julan, a fellow member of the Moon Lords, the two plot against the barony's wealth...as well as a promise to bring about its downfall. Meanwhile, back home, the Moon Lords have busied themselves with digesting their gains. Eyes, however, are beginning to turn to this proverbial fish in a small pond. The fishermen are coming. When they cast their hook, what will Dia and the others do? Book 3: Murders under the Moons Synopsis: In the sleepy town of Nachtville, where Claud and Lily are forced to stop at, a set of nasty murders occurs. Victims scream out in fright, before a spear falls from the sky to end their suffering. Cowed and cautious, the master thief and his partner slink in the shadows, their objective that of home... A new task, however, has fallen on Dia. With a trusty helper at her side, she has to set off towards Nachtville itself, to solve the mystery Claud had abandoned. Faced with an enemy whose sole skillset is geared towards killing, how will they succeed? And what dark secrets will they find? Book 4: In the Dark of the Moons Synopsis: The year has ended. The four months of the full moons will soon be followed by two months of the new moons. Duke Istrel's ascension is around the corner. Amidst this political upheaval, Count Nightfall, Licencia's strongest defender, has been called away. The Moon Lords' largest task yet — to protect Licencia in the absence of its ruler — has begun. And yet, trouble is unrelenting. A distinguished personage, one that Claud fears, has been found dead in the county, his brains dug out and his body disemboweled. The inquisitors of the White Church have been dispatched to investigate and apprehend the murderer...as well as the person behind this puppet. Tormented by a call to fight, Claud directs his eyes out of the city, looking for the puppetmaster. Skulking in the shadows, the master thief will soon confront his greatest foe yet. A foe just like him. Book 5: Moonlit Tides and Darkened Seas Synopsis: A new era has begun. For the privileged, the sands of time dribble away for every passing moment, counting down to the arrival of a entity of mythical proportions. The night now harbours shadows and fog, and operatives of the Moons and the Dark clash in shadow. Claud, as usual, is investigating a spate of nasty disappearances in the city, but little does he know what these disappearances truly mean. And yet, a tide is coming. When it finally breaks, what will he do? Book 6: Secrets in Shadow Synopsis: The person behind a strike that would enter the annals of history flees his home, bringing with him the person closest to his heart into a new land and into a new world. Having left Istrel for the first time in his life, the two of them attempt to settle down in foreign lands, only to be caught in the middle of hostilities between two mighty powers grappling for dominion. Yet, none of that has anything to do with him. Following his desires, Claud eventually makes his way to the fabled Celestia Ruins, a fragment of another world. Bearing witness to truths he cannot yet comprehend, he returns from his exploration, a small break away from the machinations of destiny. One thing, however, is for certain. Destiny will not wait for him. Book 7: Reddest Rage Synopsis: Destiny churns on, heedless of mortal machinations, and Claud watches as the battlegrounds between the Moons and the Dark are drawn up. With the forces of the great Dark occupying Lostfon, Claud comes to a startling realisation — that he may have very well be a murderer of heinous proportions. Grappling with that realisation, he struggles to prepare for his Second Tutorial... Back in Istrel, Dia finds herself confronted with a perennial truth. Even in a time of writhing destiny, the machinations between nobles never cease to end — and unfortunately for her, the group once known as the Moon Lords are forced into dealing with a petty squabble between two counts. What they didn't account for, however, was the startling discovery they would soon make... And the shadow of the Red God's Holy Son behind it all. Book 8: Darkness Descends Synopsis: Nightmares haunt the horizon as Claud sinks and awakens from a seeming dream. What was once illusory begins to play out before him, in a way he cannot imagine. Dia, forced to wield arms, begins and ends a battle that opens her eyes to the vast dangers that lurk in this sundered world. Under the banner of humanity and divinity, she beholds the silent, forgotten protectors of Orb...but there is no forgetting the battle between the divinities. The Dark descends, the Moons writhe, and the horns of war blow once more. But this is not their battle. Not yet. Book 9: Moons Muster Synopsis: As more and more events fall into place, Claud finds himself desperate. Not for himself, but for the person who has turned into his world. Armed with the knowledge of a certain future, he approaches the only person that could possibly help him in his time of need, trading information for a promise of help. With that as solace, he returns to the grim task of understanding and seeking, revisiting an ancient, shattered fragment of another world...unleashing changes that he never knew was possible. Back in Istrel, Dia and the others must now navigate around a familiar spirit, who seeks to investigate the death of his master's Bearer. With them as prime suspects, the Seekers of Life must move carefully...but the Coloured Gods are not the only divinities eyeing them closely. The Moons, bristling from repeated defeats, are looking for new recruits, and the Seekers of Life are prime cannon fodder. Above all, destiny marches on, the unfeeling clock a warning to all. The Trial of Aeons will soon arrive. Book 10: Destiny Divine Synopsis: ??? Release frequency: one every few days or something, I guess.
